Regifting Beauty: The Campaign Giving Dignity and Hope to Those Who Need It Most!
This week on The Late Late Aesthetics Show, I’m joined by Ben Ofoedu from Phats and Small, the group that sold over 4 million records worldwide, to talk about the ongoing Regifting Beauty: The Turnaround Edition campaign. Launched in 2019 by VL Aesthetics, this initiative supports survivors of domestic abuse by donating unused beauty products—such as skincare, perfumes, and toiletries—helping to restore dignity and hope to those who need it most.
We all have turnaround moments—those defining points that change the course of our lives. For survivors of domestic abuse, rebuilding self-worth and confidence is a powerful transformation. After being inspired by the film It Ends with Us, Ben and I—who are now officially an item— were deeply moved by the real struggles survivors face. Domestic abuse affects millions in the UK, and we’re committed to making a difference. Since the campaign launched on January 20th, we’ve already started collecting donations, and we’re proud to share that we’ve raised over £30,000 worth of beauty products since 2019.
