Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God
In this episode Melissa works through each word in this verse, in Greek, in order to bring out meaning and application.
She takes us through 4 uses of the Sword of the Spirit that are both defensive, protecting us from our enemy, as well as offensive, building up the Kingdom of Heaven.
She also gives us 3 warnings about using the Sword so that we use it with discretion so as not to injure the people we are called to love, and make sure we use it against the actual enemy.
The Gathering is a live mini-retreat that takes place monthly at Crosspoint Wesleyan Church in Lynchburg. Each month we gather with sisters in Christ to hear fresh teaching from the women in our community to the women in our community. The recordings are live and unaltered.
