Prayer
In this final episode on the Armor of God, be encouraged in your prayer life through Ashley's teaching. Prayer is not an afterthought, or something we can tack onto our spiritual armor. It is vital for victorious Christian living and in our spiritual battles.
In this teaching, Ashley helps us evaluate our perceptions of prayer based on how we were taught about prayer growing up.
She helps us reconsider the vital role of the Holy Spirit in our prayer life.
She helps us think about the presence of Jesus as we pray.
And, she gives some real-time practical ways to use the Word of God in our prayers. (Be prepared to push pause as Ashley talks you through prayer and asks questions to prompt considerations and prayers.)
The Gathering is a live mini-retreat that takes place monthly at Crosspoint Wesleyan Church in Lynchburg. Each month we gather with sisters in Christ to hear fresh teaching from the women in our community to the women in our community. The recordings are live and unaltered.
