News from Tinseltown. We begin with a weekend box office report. Project Hell Mary, again the number one film in the country, made another fifty-three million dollars. Hoppers was second with eleven point three million. They will kill you third, that one made five point five million. An Indian film was fourth, Rurandhar, a revenge, and rounding out the top five, reminders of him. Tiger Woods flipped his Land Rover in Jupiter, Florida Friday afternoon. Police say he seemed impaired, though he blew a 0.0 on the breathalyzer. Still he refused to take a blood test. Savannah Guthrie is going to return to the Today Show a week from today, but she says, and I'm quoting here, I'm not going to be the same. Tyler Perry reportedly gave TSA workers at Atlanta's airport two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in Visa gift cards. He planned to give cash, but that's against the rules, so he gave out the gift cards instead. You remember the original survivor, Richard Hatch? Do you remember his battle with the government over paying taxes on his winnings? Well, that battle continues, and with penalties, the government says Richard Hatch now owes three point two million bucks. This is from the Daily Mail. They say Brittany Spears has been sober since her DUI arrest earlier this month. They say she hasn't touched alcohol in more than three weeks, and she's been going to AA meetings. Eighty-four-year-old Martha Stewart told the Daily Mail she's ready to date again, and she knows what kind of man she wants to date. What does she look for in a man? She says lots of things. Nice looking, bald or not bald, I don't care if they have a nice shaped head. Also, Martha Stewart looks for nice teeth and a nice smile. She says being rich helps, and being very rich helps even more. Which brings us here. Forbes released their list of the highest paid actors last year. Topping the list, Adam Sandler. He made forty-eight million bucks. Tom Cruise was second with forty-six million. Mark Wahlberg third with forty-four million. Scarlett Johansson made forty three million, good for fourth, and Brad Pitt rounded out the top five with forty-one million bucks. And that's what's happening in the world of show business. Don't forget, if you miss my Hollywood report, it's available on our app, powered by Radio Novo. There you have it. News has never been softer.
