Join Desiree & Benita, two former educators, discussing life after leaving the classroom and what it looks like to create the life they desire! In this week's episode, the dynamic duo discuss religion and spirituality and how the two intersect in their own lives.

This week, the ladies highlight D. Danyelle Thomas. A Black faith and spirituality speaker, author, public theologian, spiritualist, activist, and founder of a brand called Unfit Christian. A woman who is truly a gem in the Black community.

As they move into the episode topic, Desiree & Benita discuss their experiences with religion and spirituality, and how it has shaped them into the women they are today. The ladies delve into a deep discussion about their religious upbringing and how they view God today, with more experience and enlightenment.

For tools and resources, Desiree reads an excerpt of D. Danyelle Thomas' book, The Day God Saw Me As Black which...you have to read it for yourself. It's THAT good.
