The first ever episode of The Hope Matrix Podcast on Campus features The Shine Hope Company’s Community Hope Activator, Avery Peel. Avery is a recent University of Arkansas graduate with a degree in Psychology, and is excited to bring her wisdom to the airwaves.

Episode 1: Activating Hope on College Campuses, featuring Kathryn Goetzke
In this episode host Avery Peel, sits down with Kathryn Goetzke, as she shares her journey to becoming the CEO and founder of The Shine Hope Company. Kathryn overcame immense challenges throughout her college career including her dad dying by suicide and her own attempt in her 20’s. She then decided to be proactive against suicide and get to the root cause, which she found to be hopelessness.
Kathryn shares her story in detail as she goes through how she came to where she is today. Avery and Kathryn then discuss the programs available through The Shine Hope Company including the Hopeful Mindsets College Course which they are currently implementing at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville.
