Sara Bana
Sara Bana serves as the Ward 5 Councilwoman for the City of Midwest City and is a dedicated civil and human rights advocate committed to strengthening her community through service and civic engagement.
An Iranian-American who immigrated to the United States after experiencing revolution and war, Sara brings a deeply personal perspective to public service. Her advocacy has focused on helping families navigate challenges involving housing, transportation, mental health resources, food insecurity, domestic violence, and access to opportunity.
Through her work in local government and community advocacy, Sara emphasizes compassionate leadership, respectful dialogue, and finding common ground across differences. She believes meaningful leadership begins with listening, serving others, and turning community needs into action.
