The Wellness Curator: Building a Collective for Conscious Healing

Closers.io

In this episode of Founders Future, with host Olivia Sammons, we meet Sasha Crossman, the founder of Minding My Own Mental. Sasha shares her journey from being a high school English teacher for nine years, where she witnessed widespread burnout among educators, to creating a culturally conscious and trauma-informed wellness collective. Her experience in the classroom, particularly seeing colleagues of color tirelessly support students while neglecting their own mental health, ignited her mission to build accessible, safe spaces for holistic well-being, with a special focus on serving the queer, trans, and BIPOC communities.

Today, Minding My Own Mental operates as a multi-faceted wellness hub, offering everything from yoga and sound baths to curated wellness events and retreats that bring together vetted, intentional healers. Sasha discusses her latest innovation, the "Nervous System Reset," a healing modality she developed to help people feel safe and restored. Looking ahead, she is focused on scaling her impact by creating a training program to certify others in her reset method, aiming to host pop-up events in different cities and grow her virtual community to make her vital work accessible
