Our guests today on the podcast are Wolf Alice, one of the UK’s most exciting alternative bands of the past decade. Since forming in 2010, the London four-piece have released three acclaimed albums, toured the globe, and picked up major honours including the Mercury Prize and Brit Awards. This week, they return with their fourth studio album, The Clearing, leaning into 70s-inspired pop and rock, and produced by Greg Kurstin whose credits include Adele and Gorillaz. In today’s episode, we are joined by Joff Oddie and Joel Amey from Wolf Alice to talk all about The Clearing, the analogue-inspired writing process, working with Greg Kurstin, and one of the standout tracks, Passenger Seat. We also look ahead to what’s next — including the possibility of an Australian festival visit next February.
