Our guest this week is Rowena Wise. The Margaret River singer and songwriter has been one of Australian independent music's most compelling stories since breaking through in 2018, touring internationally alongside Ball Park Music, Folk Bitch Trio and Paul Dempsey, and earning a shortlist nomination for the Australian Music Prize for her debut album Senseless Acts of Beauty. This week she returns with Bad Things Feel Good*, a stunning and raw sophomore record that explores the multitudes of what it is to be human and the duality of transformation within a person. On today's episode, Rowena joins us to talk about the songwriting across the record as a form of therapy, her relationship with music stretching back to age eight, and the process of creating a sophomore record when your debut resonated with audiences and critics alike.
