What The Fork, Stop Splitting Your Energy
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You know that moment when a place in your life quietly stops fitting, but you keep trying to make it work anyway? We’re fresh off a conference in Springdale, Arkansas and heading back on the road, and a simple question from a listener sparks a deep one for us: when does a journey complete, and how do you actually know?
We unpack what “completion” feels like in real life, from travel decisions guided by synchronicities to bigger transitions like leaving a long-term job. We talk about signs and symbols, intuitive nudges, and why we sometimes ignore the clearest guidance even when it keeps repeating. The honest answer usually points back to fear of the unknown, plus the stories our monkey mind writes to keep things familiar.
We also get practical about manifestation and energy. Having multiple projects is not the problem. The problem is split energy, when you want something and secretly argue with it at the same time. We break down how that inner conflict slows momentum, how to keep creative flow without “forking” your focus into the wrong container, and why change is coming either way so you might as well meet it with curiosity.
If this hits home, subscribe, share it with someone who’s at a crossroads, and leave us a review with the biggest sign you’ve been ignoring lately.

Welcome And Conference Recap
SPEAKER_00Good morning, everybody. Welcome back to the Spiritual Grind. Good morning. We are coming live from Springdale, Arkansas. Yep, we just finished up with Ozarks Research Institution's annual conference. It was a very great, it was a good conference.
SPEAKER_06I think it's bi is it would it be considered a biannual? Because they do another one in September, right?
SPEAKER_00That's a school. This is the conference that's the school.
SPEAKER_06Oh, what's the difference?
SPEAKER_00Um I don't know. We'll have to ask them.
unknownUh-oh.
SPEAKER_06I was just curious.
SPEAKER_00I don't know the difference. But anyway, it's a very good turnout. Went well. Did lots of good things. Had lots of good good uh energetic sessions going on.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Went well.
SPEAKER_06Lots of sessions.
SPEAKER_00It did. We were busy.
SPEAKER_06Yep. We were.
SPEAKER_00We like it that way.
SPEAKER_06We like it.
SPEAKER_00Yes, we do.
SPEAKER_06It was a great great turnout for us.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Shout out to our new friend Michaela. Shout out to you. Um and to everybody else that come to the conference. We appreciate you guys stopping by and saying hi.
SPEAKER_06Absolutely.
Travel Plans And Waco Signs
SPEAKER_00Um, let's see here. So what's on the agenda for today?
SPEAKER_06Well, I guess we're headed to Texas next.
SPEAKER_00Yep, to Waco, Texas on April 19th.
SPEAKER_06Yep.
SPEAKER_00We'll be at the uh Waco, the it's called the Heart of or the Heart of Texas Spirit Fairs. It's on their website. You can see it on our finding our website to the link.
SPEAKER_06I'll put it in the description.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_06It's uh it's a one-day event. It is a one day event. It's a little smaller gig, but that's where we were guided to go. That's where I was guided to go.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_06I've been seeing the word Waco all week.
SPEAKER_00Your Wacko? What?
SPEAKER_06Wacko. Oh no, maybe it was Waco instead of Waco. Maybe I read it wrong. I've been seeing it on like bumper stickers. There was actually a road that we crossed the day before yesterday when we were out doing things that said Waco something, the street name.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there's a business named. There's a business here called Waco something.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I saw that. I've seen it like six or seven times, and I'm like, okay, I got I got the message, Ben. We're going to Waco. I got it. And then whenever you were giving me the list of the next uh events and places, you said Waco, and I said, Oh, that's the one. We gotta go there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it's a smaller event, but it's okay. It's gonna be all right.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we that's the way this mechanism works is that you know, you tune in, you get the information, don't always know why.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06Don't always do it know the outcome or even what we're looking for when we get there. We just go and the next thing is revealed, and the next thing is revealed. We just follow the guidance.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, looks like we'll be going to Kansas City the first weekend of May. And via Sherman, there's one on the way that we're gonna hit. I think it's a one-day event as well.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But we'll see how that goes.
SPEAKER_06I just follow along.
SPEAKER_00Yep, just follow along. But anyway, well, are you ready to get today's topic out?
SPEAKER_06Of course. Do tell.
SPEAKER_00Do tell. Do tell. There's a joke in there somewhere. Do tell. I don't know. There's a dad joke in that word somewhere. I'll find it.
SPEAKER_06I'm sure you will.
When Does A Journey Complete
SPEAKER_00But it's anyway. So today's topic. Are you ready for this one?
SPEAKER_06Yes.
SPEAKER_00It's when does a journey complete? Because what brings that up is there are a couple of uh I got we got a couple emails from the conference and and uh one of them said well when are you guys going next? And when does your journey end of traveling around? I'm like, hmm. That's a good question. When does the journey end? How do you identify when any any journey is time to end that journey? And so when I was trying to take a cold shower this morning, why were you taking a cold shower? Because I couldn't get any water.
SPEAKER_06Oh, you couldn't get the flow to work?
SPEAKER_00Nope, my flow was stagnant. Oh we had waterline issues. But my flow was definitely not working this morning.
SPEAKER_06You had some flow issues going on.
SPEAKER_00I did. Had some flow issues going on for sure.
SPEAKER_06Did you get them resolved?
SPEAKER_00I believe so, yes.
SPEAKER_06Nice.
SPEAKER_00I do believe so.
SPEAKER_06Now you're flowing freely?
SPEAKER_00I am, I believe so. I believe I'm flowing freely, yes.
SPEAKER_06Oh as you as you structure our itinerary and tell me that I can't go to Coleman's mine.
SPEAKER_00No, we're gonna go to the mine. But we're gonna go ahead and go hit Coleman's crystal mine while we're here in in uh Arkansas.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I'm a stoner man. There's some stones calling me. I gotta go by there and pick them up. They're waiting.
SPEAKER_00They're waiting.
SPEAKER_06I'm waiting for the bus to get there and take their next journey with me.
SPEAKER_00So when I was thinking about the topic today, I was like, you know, there's you and I, we do things. I don't know how everybody else does it, but we do it to where when it when it w there's signs along the way, we just pay attention.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um there's when when a journey's coming to an end, we just pay attention, and most of the time we get it most of the time right, I would say.
SPEAKER_06Well, I get it always right. Whether you listen to me or not, it's another story.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I think for me, I it's it's uh most of the time it's a certain way it feels. The journey never ends. That's the convoluted concept. So I think for me, the uh the journey never ends. It's all about taking journeys. It's it's for me, it's more about um when is this particular journey on this topic complete.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06Uh the the journey itself as as a big whole is synonymous with life. Yeah. Life is the journey, the journey is life. And so that never ends to me. It's just what event has come to completion and ready for you to devote more of your energy to the next event or circumstance. Yeah. Would be how I define it for myself. And for me, it is uh it's just a uh it's a feeling I get inside of my being. Yeah. Of okay, this one is done. Let's file it into the universal library as I like to do. That's a technique I use. And let's move on to whatever the next thing is, because there are many different journeys we're on simultaneously at at any one given time, you know. Uh, like for myself. I was on a journey to come to the uh speaking event. Um, but at the same time, I'm on a journey of writing books and uh making podcasts and living my human life, whatever that looks like. Those are all different different kinds of journeys that I'm on within the big whole journey.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_06And um there are events within the whole big journey of life. So for me, it's a feeling.
SPEAKER_00Well, see, for me it actually created a deeper question.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. Do tell take us there.
SPEAKER_00And the deeper question for it is those journeys ever actually end? And where within it because here's the thing, is we have we we we know people, we get to know people, we do things, you know, those are all individual journeys.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And be it, you know, buying new things, whatever, it's all a journey. And I think for me the deeper question within all of that is you know, there's always signs and symbols. You know, we we teach this all the time, is that is to listen and pay attention because your higher self, your spirit, or whatever is putting things in your way that signal things.
SPEAKER_06Absolutely, a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_00And when those signals come across, um, and it's about tuning into the frequency of is it time, is it not time, is it uh is this symbol a prelude to the next one? And those kind of thoughts. And uh our producer just came to work.
SPEAKER_06Producers in the house, four legs and hairball. Welcome, producer. You checking it out to make sure these idiots are doing what they're supposed to be doing. She's jumped the cat producer. Like I said, when that box comes on, she she's gotta jump up here and make sure we're doing it right.
SPEAKER_00Every time.
Why We Ignore Clear Guidance
SPEAKER_06Every stinking time. But anyway, bigger journey, deeper thought, continue.
SPEAKER_00And so, you know, like for example, there was also in the the last big major journey that we had, we uh um took it upon ourselves to I took it upon myself to prolong the journey a little farther than it probably should have gone.
SPEAKER_06Which one is this you're talking about?
SPEAKER_00Um, employment.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I see. Yep. Uh huh.
SPEAKER_00And I was getting we both were getting all the messages and and saying all those things, but for some reason I chose to prolong the journey.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_00And so I was humanly interrupting the spiritual journey within it. Right. By interjecting my own thoughts and opinions instead of just following the breadcrumbs.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so for me, it's more of a deeper thing. Why, first of all, A, how do how do we teach people to notice those signals? And B, why would we humanly interject ourselves and not do it other than beliefs? I'm sure that I mean beliefs have a lot to play in it. Yeah. And emotions. And so that's where my deeper thought is.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so um it can be multiple reasons, actually. If you think about the mechanism of manifestation, belief system work, and you know, creating a reality, one of the things that can trip someone up and have them hang on to a circumstance that they're in or a journey, if you will, that they're on and holding on to it longer than they should can be uh uh fear-based. It can be that they're still tangled up in the fear of the unknown. And so if you're looking at the uh the the place where you're at and you're afraid to leave it, but you're disguising that as making up excuses of it's not time to leave, it's not the right time. If you don't stop and make yourself aware that all the signs are pointing that it is time, why am I not allowing this to happen? And coming to the realization that it is an underlying fear, and we'll use us as an example. You're specifically talking about the corporate job that we had and prolonging the extraction or the leaving of that journey. And if you've got an underlying fear where you know that provides you with a tangible real life paycheck, for example, which is most of the time what stumbles people up. I've got a reliable paycheck, it pays my bills, I can count on it, it's familiar, it's not unknown, and me going on a new journey brings in that doubt of um, okay, how am I gonna pay my bills if I get rid of this job that's providing me my biweekly paycheck?
SPEAKER_00Uh-oh.
SPEAKER_06Dang it.
SPEAKER_00Do you have the quarter?
SPEAKER_06More money in the bucket, man. Yep. That bucket's now turned into two.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06We filled one bucket up, now we're working on the second one.
SPEAKER_00Literally.
SPEAKER_06Dad government. All right, I'll put my money in. But anyway, back to the topic. If you're talking about, we'll use that example, if you're talking about leaving a job because it no longer feels right, you can feel the feeling of being done with it. But if you get jammed up in doubting that you'll find a new job or doubting that you can go and do the actual thing that brings you the joyful thought of, you know what, I'd like to be this next thing when I grow up. But you're uncertain as to whether you have the ability to learn that skill, or you have the uncertainty of leaving one paycheck, for example, and going into a situation where maybe it's not as much money, or you don't even know how much the money is, if you're changing careers completely, it belt it boils down basically to the one concept. It's fear. It's fear of the unknown. It's uh combined with not trusting the unseen, not trusting the all that is, not trusting the God, the spirit, whatever your title for that entity is, it's tangled up in not trusting that your needs will be met. And the fear of exploring something that's unknown because you've categorized the unknown as something um not enjoyable. When we were kids, we looked at the unknown, and it wasn't an unknown, it was an exploration, it was an expedition, it was exciting, it was fun, it was let's go explore. When we got on our bikes and we went and rode around town all day, never one time did we have fear come in that said, Oh am I in the wrong part of the neighborhood, or is something bad gonna happen to me, or whatever. We just got on our bikes and went and rode.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And that's how life needs to kind of be looked at is if you are being given a desire to go in a different direction, that desire is evidence that the thing that you are wanting or dreaming about already exists, and now it's your job to align with it in a manner that is fun and intriguing and interesting and go about it that way. Because if you're doing it any other way, you're getting tangled up in the doubt, the oh my gosh, I don't think it'll happen. I can't. I and all that's just fear-based. And that will cause you to prolong the journey, that will cause you to stay stuck in a job you don't like or a relationship you don't like, or continue to live in a place where you don't want to be.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06All of those areas of the life pie, if you're doing that and your perception is to fear things, it will keep you from moving to that next place. It will, it'll keep you from if you want to live in, I don't know, Colorado, for example, because you love the winters and the mountains and the snow, and you're in Florida, it will prevent you because you'll start doing this what I call the monkey mind dialogue inside your head, and that monkey mind will start coming up with reasons and excuses for you not to go. Yeah. How are you gonna get the money to go? Oh my gosh, it's gonna cost so much. Or we can't go to Coleman Mine to get crystals because I don't want to go down 40. I want to go 412 and it's backtracking. Even though going to Coleman Mine is what you were guided to do for whatever reason, and it's fun and enjoyable to me, you start making it monkey mind verbiage of don't move to Colorado because you don't have the money to get there. How are you gonna get there? Where are you gonna work when you get there? Where are you gonna live? Oh my god, oh my god. You've got a perfectly fine house where you're at, you've got a perfectly fine job, especially when um those two factors right there, there's nothing wrong with. If you love your job and it's a great job, and you enjoy where you're at, you're just getting that intuitive nudge or that desire to live in a different place. People will not follow that seed when they can't justify or validate. And so then sometimes what they do is they'll stay because they'll talk themselves out of it and they'll use this dialogue. I love my job here. I am perfectly content and happy, and I have a wonderful house I live in or apartment or whatever you call it. Why why would I get up and I would why would I go to this other state where I've got to start all over or whatever? That's still monkey mind, especially if you're getting an intuitive nudge.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And I'll use myself for an example, you know, over uh we we've been here what now, a week and a half?
SPEAKER_00Um, yeah, about that. A little over that.
SPEAKER_06So in a week and a half, I've probably seen the word waco.
SPEAKER_00Waco?
SPEAKER_06Waco. Okay, probably 10 times. What'd I say?
SPEAKER_00Waco.
SPEAKER_06I've probably seen that word somewhere ten times.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06If I went about it and I said, Oh, it's just a one-day event, they have no speaking opportunities. Why would I waste my time going and doing a one-day event? And I talked myself out of it, I would miss the possible opportunity that's waiting there for me that I have no idea what it is, whether it be my opportunity or someone else's opportunity or a combination of both. And that's how all the different areas work. If you're getting a desired nudge to go somewhere else or work somewhere else, or be in a certain place, if you truly want to follow your divine guidance, you let go of the fear and you just go.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And you trust you. Even if you can't see. And for those that are biblical and and go with the God concept, it's in the Bible, is it not?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Trust the the what does it say? The kernel of a mustard seed and all of that.
SPEAKER_00Oh having the faith of a mustard seed. Right.
SPEAKER_06It's not I'll believe it when I see it or I'll go when I have validation or belief.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's it. Well, there's many, many references to that.
SPEAKER_06I just needed to throw that in because collectively I'm getting that there are some that listen who uh give spirituality that premise. Yeah. Because that's a side note. Whether you're whether you believe in the Bible or you follow that content or whatever, our material fits all of that. Yeah. And you can be whatever and follow some of our teachings.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So back to the initial question: what keeps you hanging out longer in an event or in a journey?
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06And ultimately, when you follow that spiral down, you're gonna find the seed of fear.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, yeah, fear, fear, and unknown and unknown is still disguised as fear. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06That's the core seed of it. It can be put in many different costumes.
Split Energy Versus Many Projects
SPEAKER_00And and and it can be used in any format with you know, relationships, work, friendship, what you're buying, and that's where that's you know, because this came up a couple times over the weekend too, to me, was the fear of change that people are doing and and or their journey is their journey in this one thing over to start this one, and and you know, uh dividing your energy is never good. And well, I say dividing your energy isn't it's not always not good. I would say uh yeah, we we a focused energy is more manifesting than a non-focused energy.
SPEAKER_06Well, we want to be careful with that because we divide our energy all the time, but we do it in a constructive way, correct. So if you're hanging out in those negative vibrations that are kind of heavy, a divided energy is not good. In other words, what does that mean? If you've got your energy divided in both ends of the spectrum of a concept, that is not good.
SPEAKER_02Right, I agree.
SPEAKER_06What do I mean by that? If you are uh, and I'll use money because it comes up all the all the time, all the time. Yeah, I love money, I want money, money flows to me, and then on the other end of that stick, money's hard to come by, money makes you evil. That's divided energy. Money is the root of all evil. That's right. That's the divided energy we're talking about. Yeah, when you divide your energy between two ends of the spectrum of a topic, that's when the split or divided energy is not beneficial.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_06You divide your energy or you use your energy in many different concepts at the same time because there's plenty of energy. Uh, and I'll give you an example of what I mean by that. It's perfectly okay to use some of your energy too.
SPEAKER_00Did you see that?
SPEAKER_06My computer's going on and off, and I'm waving my hands about as I talk.
SPEAKER_00That's kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_06It is perfectly okay to give some energy towards uh like in my bubble. There's some days when I feel like writing, excuse me, some days when I feel like writing a book. And there are some days when I feel like doing my graphic designing and creating illustrations. There's some days where I feel like writing an article or doing absolutely nothing and laying around resting, watching my favorite Disney show.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's okay to divide your energy on different projects because they're different kinds of energy for each of those projects.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I'm not saying you need to have all of your energy hyper-focused on one project at a time. You can have many different projects that are going on, many different businesses that require your focus, your attention, your energy that are going on at the same time, and still be a powerhouse of manifestation and energy and bringing it into reality and aligning with it. It's like I said, when you are splitting your energy between the two pole or opposites of the candle on both ends. Yep, exactly. Some of those, some of those old myths, they have legitimate. Legitimate source behind them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because that's one of the first things that I learned in through business is everybody will always tell you don't divide your energy, keep your energy focused on what your the next best thing is. And you know, and if for a lot of us we uh have a tendency to become single faceted in our personal life and in business because of that.
SPEAKER_06Because we misunderstand what dividing energy means.
SPEAKER_00That's correct.
SPEAKER_06And so I'm here to clarify what the definition of that is, which I just did.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06The dividing of the energy, what is meant by that is when you divide it amongst the two polar opposites of what that concept is, yes, I can do it, no, I can't do it. That's just that's a split energy, that's a divided energy. And the mechanism is gonna crash if you keep entertaining both of those concepts.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_06If you're talking about I've got this project going and this project going and this project going, there those are energy aspects on different projects, different themes, different things going on. And as an entrepreneur or anyone else that's an entrepreneur, you know that you don't have all your eggs in one basket.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06There's always creative ideas popping in, there's always new uh things that pop in, and it is perfectly fine to give that energy as a as a new concept. That's what we do.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06It's just making sure that you're not splitting that energy up and entertaining the negative, yeah, of the thing that you want while trying to entertain the positive of the thing that you want.
SPEAKER_00Well, and that's where uh another part of it that I wanted to touch on is when you do split your energy to make sure that you're focused your energy and don't split your energy again. Like don't because that's where when well people have a tendency when they're multitasking because that's how we were taught, you and I were taught later on in life is multitasking is success, and and it but then you're taught not to split your energy because then you're taking focus away. But I do know this that through my operations throughout the year is or throughout many of the li of my life is that splitting your energy in a intentional way is is okay to do.
SPEAKER_02Right.
Keep Momentum Without Forking Off
SPEAKER_00But if you've split it, you don't want to continuously split it. Like I'm not gonna go like I'll give an example of the example I'm trying to think of is you're doing something with your with your job, and then you're doing something else with your job.
SPEAKER_06I have an example. Okay, let me share it.
SPEAKER_00Sure, sure.
SPEAKER_06So we have a Jindan Yoga program. It is a combination of meridian work and yoga.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_06We've combined it together, and that's a concept.
SPEAKER_01Correct.
SPEAKER_06We have subscription plan, people tap in to see our Zooms and our pre-recordings and all of that. If we bring in sound therapy into that, that's a split energy.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I agree.
SPEAKER_06And it doesn't fit in that concept, and so it will split the energy and the momentum of giving Jin Dan its trajectory or its path to follow, because you've now got a little fork in the road that says, Oh, let's take part of this gin dan energy and let's give it to sound therapy, but in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yeah, totally. And so what it'll do is it'll make that journey difficult and challenging. Because it doesn't fit in that bucket.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_06So if we bring in sound therapy, it's not that it's not okay to bring that in, it's that it needs its own path, its own trajectory to live on so that it has its own energy to grow and become what it is.
SPEAKER_00100%.
SPEAKER_06So then what you do is is you create a sound therapy concept and company or uh aspect that is sound therapy, then you can Gin Dan can say, okay, sound therapy, will you make the sounds and the tones for my Gin Dan yoga that I play in the background? That's how you incorporate that in not a split energy way.
SPEAKER_01Correct.
SPEAKER_06That's the beneficial way. But if you try to fork off of something and it's not meant to be forked off of what the fork? What the fork? Forking shirt balls, man. Then that's where you'll lose.
SPEAKER_00Well, fork me.
SPEAKER_06The you'll lose the energy trajectory of a concept and it will kind of fizzle. And that's where you have to be careful.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06I love you so much, D, but I needed to use the example.
SPEAKER_00And so the I think that the energetic flow that you when you when you take your focus away, if you're especially already splitting your energy. Yeah. You know, when you take the focus off the energy that you've split to, yeah, then and then you will it's very easy to lose the focus of what you're actually doing. Because you're now not only is your energy split, but your attention is split.
SPEAKER_06Right. So that's that is a definite key concept to talk about because when you're gonna multitask and you're gonna multitask your energy as entrepreneurs do, creative ideas are gonna come in when you open the flow and you start allowing yourself to be a creative vessel, you're gonna have new ideas. And they're gonna they're gonna feel just as inspiring and just as just as motivating as the initial uh idea that got you going in a different direction. Yes. It's okay to give them energy, but you want to comprise the week of segmenting and making sure you're going back to concept A, giving it its needed attention or its needed energy, going to concept B, checking in with it, giving it its needed energy, its needed follow-up, it's needed uh space of attention, and making sure you're setting up your time to where you don't just let this one fizzle or fade, unless it's time to let it fizzle or fade. Right. You want to make sure that you're organizing your week to where each concept gets a moment of your time to just check in, see how it's going, what does it need? And that's good business as well.
SPEAKER_00Agreed.
SPEAKER_06What does it, you know, how are we doing? Um and and giving space to go back and check in with it, especially if it's something that you're wanting it to have a little longer life, then you're gonna need to find a way when you're working for yourself as an entrepreneur to come in and give moments of time, we call weekdays or weeks or whatever, segmented to this concept, this concept, that concept. So none of them lose their energy or their trajectory and don't fizzle out on you.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06Is that kind of what you meant?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yes, that's exactly what I meant, actually, because that's a that's a great way to look at it is when you're splitting your energy and you have the concept there, it's okay to, you know, they say work your plan, don't plan to work. Yeah. And when you create a separate energy concept, you have to allow yourself to have a focused plan.
SPEAKER_06Right. But focused plan doesn't mean that you can only focus on one topic.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_06Or one thing. Right. You can have multiple things going at one time and still have a focused uh concept about each thing. You just gotta sorry, I have now the producer's now sitting in my lap, so I've got to readjust where I'm sitting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so you you're you got like you were talking from a distance.
SPEAKER_06I was because I'm like five miles away from the microphone so that her big fat butt has room to lay.
SPEAKER_00She had to check in to go to work, apparently.
SPEAKER_06Apparently.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, so when you when you're doing that and you have the plan, you know, it's okay to split your energy, create the plan, work the plan, but make sure that you don't allow your distractions and stuff to veer from your plan. Right. Um because you know, I had one time I had a a guy tell me and I'm not gonna put him out of there, but he said, I'm so very successful because I believe that when I create the plan it works. And what I mean by that is is he kept it he kept his plan in place and stayed focused on it. He stayed his kept his energy focused on it. And he was not a fan of multitasking, was not a fan of splitting energy. But but because of that, I kind of and the other side of that is I feel like when you stay too focused, you're stifling your own flow.
SPEAKER_06Absolutely. I'm just gonna say, how did he uh, you know, what does his life look like now?
SPEAKER_00Did he fizzle out and talk to him in years, but and become like stagnant? Well, the last time I had talked to him, he was uh kind of in a lull.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that'll get you. That's a uh you gotta be careful with that one, right? Because that'll trip you up as well. Creative energy is not about staying hyper-focused on one thing, and that's all that you do, right? Creativity comes at you in all different directions, directions, especially when you open the door, and it's perfectly we have we have plenty of energy to be able to do several different ideas and concepts at the same time, right? And here's how I know that because higher self, God, all that is, it's not gonna give you the desire to want something unless you can actually handle it.
SPEAKER_01Right. I agree.
SPEAKER_06It's your own mind, it's your own belief system that starts to fool around with that tomfoolery of, oh my God, I can't take on anything else. I feel overwhelmed. I can't handle all of this.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06That is still doubt, which going spiral down even further. That's the fear of doubting yourself, right? Of can I can I juggle all of this and do it efficiently? Can I handle all of this?
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06And I guarantee you, if I sit with them, I would unravel that and find out that somebody taught them that somewhere or they picked it up somewhere watching somebody uh do two or three things at one time and they didn't work out, they crumbled under the under the pressure, even whether it be the person physically mentally crumbled or the concept crumbled. But whenever you compare yourself like that, you have no idea what the rest of the story was for the other person that you watched that happen with. Their businesses may have crumbled because that was what they needed to learn on their journey.
SPEAKER_02Right.
Change Is Coming Either Way
SPEAKER_06They they may have crumbled because they weren't honoring rest and relaxation for their own physical body and they were pushing themselves too far and not listening to what their physical body needed. You don't know what the rest of the story is. So for you to take on uh filling in the blank, if you will, of a story and then comparing yourself to them and and then deciding that you can only handle one thing at a time, it definitely will stump you. It'll it'll trip you up and it will not let you see the additional opportunities that are coming your way, or it won't let you make a decision on the opportunities that are coming your way, and it will hold you in. Let's swing it back around, baby. It'll hold you in a place that you were meant to leave a long time ago.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_06Your initial question was how do you know when the journey is complete?
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_06Well, that is another way that can happen.
SPEAKER_00Right, for sure.
SPEAKER_06Is that if if you've got a perspective that I'm afraid that things will crumble underneath me, it won't even let you see the opportunities that are um available when you end this journey getting the impulse that it's time to move on. You can't even see them.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06So then that just reaffirms the doubt and the uncertainty and the unsureness, and then accentuates even more and amplifies even more the fear of oh my God, I'm gonna leave this job and I'm gonna have no money and I'm gonna be poor and destitute, and what am I gonna eat? I'm gonna have to dig in trash cans, where am I gonna live? Like the whole story can just get completely and totally stupidly out of hand if you let your monkey mind get a hold of it.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_06And that's when you have to stop it and say, okay, how much of this story that I'm telling myself right now is actually true? How much of it is a made-up lie or uh my monkey mind trying to uh hang on to the comfortness of the familiarity of where I'm at now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Even if it's time for me to move on. Because I can assure you of one thing change will happen.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06And it will happen whether you go along with it with a childlike, intrigued mindset, or whether you go along with it kicking and screaming.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Change will happen. And when you're given that first insight that it's time to change, whatever it is, whether it be the your underwear or a job or a partner or a relationship in any facet, relationship can be, remember, not just romantic, but it can be a friend, a social network, uh, a friend at work. When in your given that nudge that it is time for the change to come about, it's coming.
SPEAKER_00Right. Agreed. Whether one way or another. Right. It's coming. You can ain't no stopping it.
SPEAKER_06It's it's it's going to happen. Right. It can it can come about with you kicking and screaming.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06Or it can come about with you having the perspective of, okay, change is coming. Let's get inquisitive and excited and uh uh uh exploratory about it.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06Ooh, I wonder what this is gonna bring. I'm excited to see what doors open up. I'm uh interested in seeing this unravel uh from that perspective instead of oh my god, change is horrible. I've gotta uh I've gotta put everything in a box and I've gotta call the moving company and I've gotta it's gonna cost this and it's gonna cost that, and I've gotta learn a new job, and I've got to meet new people. You know, you can take it in whatever direction you want to take it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, very easily.
SPEAKER_06But which one feels better?
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06Because it's coming. Change always happens. Yeah, we're changing every second of every day, every every Every millisecond you change.
SPEAKER_00Yes. And you're you're creating the journey within each journey. And so, like, let me explain what I'm going to on that situation. When you have something that a journey that you're on, we when we are getting signals, we subconsciously, a lot of people, like this is what happened over the weekend. I had many conversations with people about this. Oh, I'm supposed to be doing this. I know it. I could feel it in my heart. And the this is what happened. This is what's happened, all examples of of this is what's, you know, where the journey has got all the obvious notifications that you're ignoring.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00But yet you're not doing it. And so what what like multiple times over the weekend somebody said, and so I went and did this instead of this. They create this subconscious journey that finds, oh, I'm gonna do this first and then do that.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00And all you're doing is not you're splitting the energy again.
SPEAKER_06Right. And and then wondering why your reality doesn't look like the way you want it to look.
SPEAKER_00That's right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Duh.
SPEAKER_00And that's what and and to put that out there to people is when you're on a journey, man, don't don't hinder it yourself. Make the decisions that you need to do that the spirit is giving you, or your higher self is giving you, or your higher power is giving you. Pay attention to those. Because it will guide you in the right direction.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_00You just have to be trusting. Because that was another conversation that happened a lot over the weekend, is trusting what you're supposed to be doing and where you're doing it. Yeah. And how you're doing it.
SPEAKER_06Trusting that intuitive nudge.
SPEAKER_00That's right. And that's how you know, like, like, because one lady was like, Yeah, I know I'm supposed to I mean, I've been into my job for 26 years and da da da da going over all this stuff and I don't remember how many years it was actually, but and she was like, And I and I'm gonna do this. I want to go do this. Okay, so the problem with what you just said is you're gonna go instead of I'm doing it.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_00And if it's a if it's a guided journey that you have and you're not humanly, you know, corrupting the the system, then you should be doing it. Yeah. And you you know, let go of the relationship, friendship that you have with your boss and let it go.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Because that's what we do as humans, it's those little sub-journeys that we like to make and connections that we like to make to manipulate the signals that we're supposed to be doing something else.
SPEAKER_06Well, yeah, it's an underlying self uh sabotage, basically, of giving yourself a reason not to go on the other journey.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's a way that's a way out to create justifying okay to stay.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06And what I always say is if it's okay to stay, it's okay to go.
SPEAKER_00It's okay to go, it's okay to stay.
SPEAKER_06If it's okay to go, it's okay to stay. Right, it's a balanced space. Come to that neutral place of this is my next journey. And if I truly want change and I truly want it to be different, then take the step.
SPEAKER_00Take it out and jump on it.
SPEAKER_06And and go with it. Don't come sit in my chair and whine about why your reality's not changing or what can I see into the future of what am I supposed to be doing. Yeah. People will come and they'll sit in my chair and they'll say, Okay, tell me what you see.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06And I say back to them, tell me what you see.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06I'm not gonna get my crystal ball out and tell you what I see when you're not even following the steps of what you see.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06So you tell me what you see, and we're gonna dig around in that and find out why you're not following the things that you see. You see, yeah, because I know you see them.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06I can feel it in your energy. I know you hear them, I know you see the messages, yep. And then they're like, okay, all right. Because the other premise behind that is that I'm not gonna follow you around and crystal ball you.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06You need to learn how to do this when I'm not around.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_06And so I did that a couple of times this weekend. They were like, they would sit down in the chair and they'd be like, Okay, give me my reading. What do you see? What's in my future? Nope. This is not how that works. Here, you hold the crystal ball and you tell me what you see. Right. Because I know you see and you're aware, and you know you're supposed to be doing something different, or you wouldn't have sat in my chair.
SPEAKER_00Right. And so let's let's just get to the point.
SPEAKER_06And so let's get to the seed of it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I've had a couple of those conversations over the weekend. Yeah. Yeah, people will come to you and say, I just don't understand why this is in my life and why why did this happen? And you know, and so tell me how to fix it. I'm not gonna tell you how to fix anything. No, I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you that you have the power to fix whatever you want to fix if you'll identify it and own it.
SPEAKER_06Right. Stop right there.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_06Why are you not following what you know you're supposed to be following?
SPEAKER_00Right. And let the demons out.
SPEAKER_06That's the core.
SPEAKER_00You know, you gotta let you gotta let those negative thoughts and those negative histories out. Yeah. And it clears up the journey of thought of when to change, when not to change. It clears the journeys up. The fear, the demons, the the uh negative experience that happened before. You know, like I hear that a lot. I'm not doing this because this happened to me. Or and or this has already happened to me. Well, that's a fear, and you're it's gonna happen again until you relieve the fear behind it, because then you're just attracting it right back.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, because another thing that, and I kind of touched on it a little bit, another thing that will keep you from completing the journey is if you've experienced an event and you've created a file on that event and you perceive that it didn't go well or that it was highly uncomfortable, instead of perceiving it as an educational experience that got you to become the transcended person that you are, or the growth that you received, and you perceive it as it was a crummy event that happened to me, and I never want to repeat that again because it was so horrible. Then what you've done is you've created a fight or flight within the whole system. And now instead of identifying opportunities, you're identifying red flags. Right.
SPEAKER_05Correct.
SPEAKER_06And so anytime an an event or circumstance comes your way, instead of looking at it from a place of intrigue and curiosity, you're gonna look at it from a place of, okay, I'm looking for the red flags of does this look anything like this event or this event that I experienced that I never want to repeat again. Right. And if it has one or two of those red flags, your monkey man will take and write a whole ass, you know, 394-page book on why you shouldn't move from where you're at.
SPEAKER_00Right. Totally.
SPEAKER_06Whether it be a job or relationship or whatever. And then the next thing you know, you're staying exactly where you are when you know in your gut of guts and your intuition that you're supposed to be doing something different.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_06And then the energy just gets heavier and heavier. Your reality says, okay, well, here's some more of that frequency. Here's some more of that frequency. And the next thing you know, every day when you get up, there's some kind of bullshit or shenanigans that is presenting to you what reality you're hanging on to, what energy you're hanging on to, what beliefs you're hanging on to, what frequency you're vibrating at. And if you're vibrating at that lower frequency, here, here's another spoonful. And your days are just turned into crap. And unfortunately, if you don't become aware of it, you'll get caught up in that habitual loop of living that as your normal life.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_00Totally.
SPEAKER_06And then what you'll have to do is back up because change will come.
SPEAKER_00Will come.
SPEAKER_06It will become so uncomfortable. I talk early in in the days, I would talk about the pain and pleasure concept. Yeah. We make changes when it becomes so painful that we can't stand it anymore.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_06That doesn't matter whether it's a job relationship.
SPEAKER_00The pain of getting out of it is lesser than the pain of staying in it.
SPEAKER_06That's right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And when that pain becomes so intolerable, you'll finally get off your butt and make the change. Right. One way or another.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_06And the universe will keep feeding you garbage that makes it more and more painful. And if you're gonna resist it and fight against it, then your monkey mind will keep making stories up that justify staying.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_06Oh, but look, this is this is great and this is wonderful, and this is whatever. And yeah, it it's it's it's probably a great and wonderful job. And it doesn't have to be a shitty job or a horrible relationship. If it's time to go, it's time to go.
SPEAKER_02Time to go, right?
SPEAKER_06You don't have to write an ugly story to give yourself permission to get out of it or to leave it or to go on the journey.
SPEAKER_00That's right.
SPEAKER_06It can just be that the journey is complete.
SPEAKER_00It's complete. Watch for the signs. Yeah, that's great. Yeah. I think that was welly covered. Welly? Welly covered?
SPEAKER_06Welly cover.
SPEAKER_00Well covered. We wellied it. It's wellied.
SPEAKER_06It's wellied. We're gonna put that in the dictionary. Yeah, that goes in the dictionary. That's under the the spiritual grind dictionary. Yeah, but that's under the James Isms.
SPEAKER_00James Isms, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we've got James Isms and Jinny isms in our dictionary. That was welly covered.
SPEAKER_00Yes, we welly covered this topic, I think.
SPEAKER_06That's welly used in a sentence for you all.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. Welly, it's time to go.
SPEAKER_06Welly, it's time to go. Y'all.

SPEAKER_00Okay, guys, we hope you all have an awesome day.
