Welcome to Anka Ascension Animals, a space where spirit meets instinct, and the animal world becomes a mirror for our own evolution. I am Cass, your guide through these transmissions, where we explore animals not just as symbols, but as living intelligence that teaches us how to move, feel, and even exist authentically in this world. And when an animal keeps showing up in your awareness, it is never random. It is a reflection. Cheetah Energy. Now, cheetah energy is not just about speed, it is about precision identity. Cheetah Energy will ask what happens when you do not fit a category, but you still master your path and that category anyway. Now, I have never had the privilege yet to see a cheetah in person. But since elementary school, I have been fascinated by them. Not because they are the fastest, but because of how different they are. Cheetahs are the only feline that was questioned if they even belonged in the feline family. Why? Because they do not have retractable claws. Every other feline does, except them. And somehow that difference is exactly what allows them to be the fastest land animal on earth. That stayed with me forever. Because my entire life, I have felt different. I have felt this too. Not enough that, too much of this, in between everything. Different family structures, different cultural identity, different life timelines. Becoming a mother at sixteen, I was told I was playing house by someone who was supposed to be helping me. Too experienced for my peers, too young for my wisdom, too spiritual for religious spaces, and too religious for spiritual spaces. Even within neurodivergent communities, too autistic for ADHD places, and not autistic enough for autism spaces. And yet, I am still here. If they can be questioned and still become the fastest, then I do not have to fit in to be powerful. Now, cheetahs are true felines, but highly specialized. Here is what makes them so unique. They do not have retractable claws. Because of this, they gain traction, much like when we as humans wear cleats. Cleats are so important. I used to play fast pitch softball, and wearing cleats versus not wearing them makes all the difference. Now, cheetahs, extremely lightweight, making them aerodynamic. Their body is incredibly aerodynamic for running, for speed. Because of their being lightweight, they are not one of the largest felines. But they do have long legs and a flexible spine for extended strides. They can reach speeds up to sixty, seventy miles per hour. They also use their tail for steering mid-run. Now, unlike other big cats, they do not roar. They chirp, purr, and make meow like sounds, much like a house cat. They relied on speed, not strength. A lot of large cats rely on strength. And fascinating, they hunt during the day, not night. So they did not lose a feline trait by not having retractable claws, they adapted differently. Now, cheetah teaches authentic evolution, that you do not have to match others to be valid. They also work with precision movement that we mentioned earlier, not constant motion, but aligned bursts of action. They are not in action constantly, they are in aligned actions. Also, nervous system awareness. Cheetahs cannot run long distances. They sprint, then rest. So with my softball comment, if you have been in softball or baseball, sprinting is key, not running, sprinting. Burnout happens when this is ignored. And cheetahs are masters at making sure they are not burned out. Also, identity without permission. Cheetah does not question, do I belong? They would still be the fastest land animal, even if us humans said, nope, they don't have retractable claws, they're canines. They would still be the fastest animal, still living out their lives. Cheetahs move anyways, even without permission, even with being misunderstood. Now, cheetahs today are primarily found in Africa and in small populations in Iran, known as the Asiatic cheetah. But historically, cheetah-like cats once roamed the Americas, now extinct. Now, in ancient Egypt, cheetahs symbolized royalty, protection, of course, speed, and divine authority. They were sometimes kept or depicted alongside elite groups. Now, in parts of Africa, cheetahs are respected as skilled hunters and symbols of survival through intelligence, not force. Cheetahs are currently vulnerable as a species. Honoring them means supporting conservation, not exploiting imagery or symbolism without awareness, and recognizing their real-world fragility. While not as mythologized as lions or leopards, cheetahs appear in ancient Egyptian art and companionship roles. Historical accounts of trained hunting cheetahs are again recorded in parts of Africa and Asia. And modern conservation narratives highlight their decline, but also their resilience. Now, cheetah reflects something deeply personal. What if the thing that makes you feel out of place is actually your greatest advantage? What if your differences are not flaws, but adaptations? Because Cheetah did not fail at being a typical feline. It became something else entirely and still mastered its domain. Now I invite you to take a moment and question where have I been trying to fit instead of refine? Where is my energy meant to move in a burst? Not constant output. And what if what if my difference is actually my design? You do not have to belong to be powerful. Cheetah medicine is not loud. They do not roar. It is not forceful. They are not using strength. It's precise, intelligent, intuitive. It does not wait to be understood. It just knows and run. It runs when it is time to run. And maybe so are you. So next time that you feel like your flaws were a mistake or an accident or something you need to change because they're not like someone else's or everyone else. What if they are precise qualities for something bigger that your soul has planned for you? Thank you so much. This has been Anka and Ascension Animals, and we will be touching base with another type of animal to assist you on your journey.
