Soulganize Your Life With An Ego Expert
This channel is designed for anybody with an overactive ego wreaking havoc in their life and relationships; or experiencing the negative effects of other egos. You know there must be a better way to live daily life, but don’t know what is the way or how to trust yourself. The most accurate part of you to trust is your soul. But most likely you have been talked out of that since the day you were born. How do we discern the difference between our ego shouting and our soul whispering? Learn from therapist Wynne Lacey (LCPC) as she interviews other "Soulganizers" and teaches from the pages of her book, "Soulganize Your Life."

#54 Why Spirituality Matters in Addictions Counseling
Listen in to my conversation with fellow mental health counselor and owner of Replenish Renew Counseling, Maryann Dernlan (LMHC). She started out working in Addictions Recovery and shortly began to understand that if you don’t include spirituality in any effort to overcome an addiction, you are left with only the efforts of our Ego. If you only rely on your egoic self and fail, what do you do next? The only option is to beat ourselves up, have nowhere to turn, and most likely go back to the addiction. A soul-based way towards recovery is exemplified in one of her favorite quotes, “the flesh is the ego which feels an emptiness and uses the resources in its own power to try to fill it. Flesh is the “I,” that tries to satisfy “me,” with anything but God’s mercy.” Find out more about Maryann at www.replenishrenew.com.
