Welcome to. Gabby in great view, the podcast for those who want to appreciate the good and light up your day. We're your hosts. I'm Susie. And I'm Claire with a passion for heartwarming stories. Today we're going to chat. Yes. Today is Cinco de Mayo. Did you know that? No. It's also, yes, I knew that it's everywhere. It's everywhere. Go get yourself a margarita or a non-alcoholic margarita and live it up people. A skinny one, a skinny margarita. My favorite. It's also my mom's birthday. Hey, happy birthday mom. Happy birthday mom. We call it Cinco de Beto. Her name's Beth. That's perfect. Yeah, my friend Nicole actually coined that term for her. Cinco de Beto. Excellent. Yeah, it is perfect. It is perfect. Well, hey, I have a really good story to start off the day. Okay. Let's hear it. I'm excited about good stories. I need a good story. Life has been stressful lately. Gimme what you got. Alright. I, I am a loyal customer. For a few products. One is this soap from France. I've had it for 30 years. I order it directly imported. It's called Preday Provenance Soap. I love it. Love it. Yeah, kids love it. I just send them Mark. Brand soap is very lovely. Yeah, it's awesome. So then I also order cards gift. Gift cards, Christmas cards, appointment books, calendars from this Seattle company called Linea Design. And it Linea Design. Yes. And it's a, a woman who was in Seattle for years and years. I ordered their products 2010. I always ordered them as a guest though. I wasn't really big into creating accounts. You didn't really need to back then. Sure. So ordered them. And then I would order these appointment books. They're beautiful. The art is beautiful whimsical. Every year it's different. It just kind of captured the northwest. Then she moved to San Diego, and I knew that. I just kind of kept up with her little notes that she would send moving to San Diego and then her daughter. Moved there as well and, and became part of the company. So I would order, always order these appointment books and I can see'em on my bookshelf. Well, one year, 2022 was, was that Covid? I don't even know. It was Covid. I waited too long. Ah. And I couldn't not, they ran out. Yes. And then by the time I realized. It was gone. I just, I had to let it go. I tried everywhere. I tried Etsy, Amazon, other gift stores, the Goodwill Bookstore everywhere could not get one. It would show that they had them available when I ordered it. Boop, sorry. Not available. I hate when that happens. I know. So then I'm so disappointing. I'm looking at the, the book. There's like a gap. 20. 20 two's gone. Oh, I just have to, so they're all on your bookshelf? Yes. And they're just lined up? Yes. So pretty. Oh, cool. They're cool. But you have a space. Yeah. Can you just slide them together so you don't see the space? I do. I, but I know, I know. You know, so the, every year after that, 23, 24 or 25, I order them right away so I don't miss out. Yeah. And then I started ordering the little. I think they're five by seven calendars that you they're cards. You pull'em out. Okay. Well, I, I made with Ancient Cedar, I made these really cool calendar blocks where you just slide in and move back the calendar cards. So the current month is, you can see it, it's in view, so you. Woodwork some cedar. Well, it was recycled. It came from an old business, so, okay. I took the cedar and made these really cool blocks and put some copper in it made'em really artsy. Mm-hmm. And then oiled them. They're gorgeous. That's a, like a kind of a big undertaking that craft. Yeah, it was, but it was great. Yeah. Everybody loved loved it. I love it. Yeah. And so every year now they expect they want these, their calendar. Yes. So I got the email, ordered them right away, and I said, this is a year. I'm gonna ask them. So I, I asked, you sent an email. I did the, I went with my order, which was a big order. Do you just. Would you mind looking and seeing if you have any 2022 calendar books? I would really love to order one from you. Those appointment books are beautiful. All the others are sitting there and this one is like a missing tooth and then, and they're just beautiful and your mom would be so proud. So anyway, that was it. I thought, well, I'll get a note. Can't find it, but at least I tried. No, I got a phone call from Phone from San Diego Call. Yes. So they called and said, oh, we loved your email. Thank you for being a customer and we'll do our best to try to find you another book. We'll go back in the archives, but please don't have any expectations. I said, no, no. I'm hearing Grape view. I'm just hanging out. So anyway, now they know where Grape View is. I love it. Yes. So I'll. When I keep us updated, I will let us know if you get this calendar. Yes. We're all gonna be pulling for you. Oh, it's L-I-N-N-E-A design.com. L-I-N-N-E-A. Yes, I was a receptionist in a previous life, so I always like to repeat things for people so they don't have to go back and listen to it again. Mm-hmm. So one more time, it's Linea Design. They're based in San Diego. Yes. And it's L-I-N-N-E-A. Yes. They're, it's just gorgeous. Yeah. David always tells you're. Phone etiquette is so good. I'm like, well, I was trained. Yes. You needed a paycheck. You had to do what you were told. Yeah. Yeah, you did. Oh, I worked for an architect for years. Same thing. Same. Yeah. It's funny, actually, it was a developer that I was a receptionist for and there were architects there. Oh yeah. So that's interesting. Yes. A little connect there. Yeah. Little life connect. Yep. Arts, but totally into blueprints and schematic design and Yeah. Get it right, baby. Yeah. For me it was. Working with clients and punch lists and things like that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Did that I typed up the, the specs. Yep. And then change orders. Change order. Change order. Yep. I know. I love it. So, previous lives. Mm. Oh man. So we've not talked in a while and I think we have a little catching up to do. We had Easter come by. Yep. I took a little birthday trip. Yes. So what, what did you do for Easter? Easter dinner at, at our house. And the kids came. It was relaxed, just very calm. Did you have both boys there? No, Kevin was in Astoria, no Long Beach, and he had his in-law there. Okay. Had a bless. Yes. So they're just loving that. So, no, it was just Sean and Alex and Orla. Oh, and the dog. Nice. Yes. So her first Easter Aw. Looks great. Did she have little Easter dress on? She had an Easter outfit on an Easter outfit, yes. And she ruffles on the butt. I love ruff when babies wear ruffles on their butt. Well, her swim outfit has ruffles on the butt. Oh, so cute. And it it is one of those one piece sun block. Yeah. With little ruffles on the butt. Oh, oh, so cute. I move and then it keeps her warm in the swimming pool. Alex is a swimmer. Alex swam in college. Okay. Collegiate. Yeah. Hardcore. That's, wow. I swam in high school. Yes. I didn't do it in college. It was pretty serious. Like a job. Early morning practice was Not for this girl. No, that was for her, but it was like a job. Oh, I'm sure. Yeah. Crazy. Plus she, so I didn't do it. Yeah. Pre-med too. Oh, she's a go getter. That Alex. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. So it was a great dinner. Very relaxed. And then, yeah, there you go. What'd you do? Something fun. Well, my birthday is on April 24th, so this year it was a few days after Easter and we were going, we're, we went on a trip, so I was missing spending my birthday here. So we comboed up with David's parents and had a nice Easter birthday lunch at Applebee's, which is my Applebee's. New favorite place to go? I don't think I've mentioned it on the pod yet, but I am fully addicted to Applebee's. I love it. I have a standard order, the hot honey, chicken, bacon, skillet and gluten-free. Gluten-free gluten. Well, it says gluten sensitive. Oh, they can't guarantee it's gluten-free and I don't have celiac, so I don't need it to be totally gluten-free in order to. Not get sick, but you like it? I love it. And I order a ma thai passion fruit ma thai. Ooh, it's so good. Really? It's not as sweet because that passion fruit has like a little tang sourness to it. Yeah. But ma tie Oh yeah. So good Hawaii Total. Oh yeah, totally. So good. I love it so much. Little rum. Yeah, so we did that and David's parents always get the same thing. David always gets the same thing. Good. We're very adorable when we go there. I feel like they usually sit us at the same table. It's, it's pretty cute. Good. Yeah, so we had a great time. And then the birthday we went to Palm Springs and we were there for a few days and it was lovely. Last time I had been in Palm Springs was for a bachelorette party, so this was, I was a little bit more aware of what was happening. You could appreciate during this, this trip than the last time. And Palm Springs is cool. I love it. It was great. We were there between, coachella and Stage Coach. Yes. So, so it's like a little lull between the concert goers. Yeah. But still people when they're, when you're there, there's, they're still like serving you fast, fast, fast, fast. Nothing is really super slow unless you're just at the hotel.'cause it was pretty slow going at the hotel. We didn't get served fast, fast, fast there. Well, at restaurants. Yes. It was like, get in, get out. Here you go. Well, I went to France. In November. Yeah. And it was right after the Olympics. So the Parisians were fast. Usually they are like, oh, you a medicon. No, they were happy, they were appreciative. They were it was good. That's awesome. Yes. Yeah, so I love that. I know what that's about. I don't dunno how they feel about us now, but Oh, that's okay. Yeah, that's fine. They took our money. That's true. They're like, here, you can spend money here. That's fine. Yeah. It was like they got the memo. Yeah, being nice. So yeah, Palm Springs was great. We went with our friends, Carla and Tim, and it was Carla's birthday on the 22nd, so we kind of did a. A birthday trip together and we just kind of laid by the pool and had cocktails and talked smart. And you know what I loved best in the sun. Yeah, it was great. What I, what did you love? I, when you were describing it earlier on Friday when you came over, I loved that you had a friend wanted to come in and they said, no. Oh, yeah, you're not a, you're not a guest here. So we were staying at a very bougie, fancy place. This hotel, I'd never spent that much money on a hotel room before, but we were celebrating because I just paid off my student loans and I was ready to just like, you know, give myself a little treat for doing that. And so we stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel called Le. It's L apostrophe horizon. If you could not understand that I was using my French ex song like Susie did, and it was very private and we were wondering like, why. It was so expensive and we decided that exclusivity was a lot of the reason why it was expensive because they didn't allow guests to come in at all. And so only the people that had paid to stay at the hotel. We're allowed in the hotel, like, not even for dinner or drink at the bar or anything like that. So, we have a friend that lives in Palm Springs, one of David's friends, and he, we wanted him to come over for lunch and hang out with us a little bit, and they would not let him in. So he and David went to a dive bar and had a couple drinks or some lunch or something and then came back. Yeah. But then that means nobody else could have their friends. Correct. So it was just super chill. Yeah. And like it's like that concert time. Yeah. You don't really want that happening. Yes. Anyways. Oh yeah. So I like that. It was lovely. Yeah. Yeah. Good. It was worth the money. It was worth the splurge. We had a lovely time. I wish that the ease and stress-free feeling of that trip had kind of. Soaked into the rest of our life. No, but no, it was the calm before. Nope. We came back and calm before the storm Ville s si, you know, hit the fan. Yes. Yep. And now you've readjusted, you've equalized. Now we're readjusting and some progress has been made and that's great. But yeah, it's great birthday. Palm Springs is wonderful. Love it there. I do too. It's a great little jaunt from where we are here in Seattle. Like I would never have gone to Palm Springs from Chicago'cause it's like too much of a trip. Right. But here it's perfect. It's like two and a half hour flight. Yeah. Airport is, yeah. The airport there is lovely. The airport here, not so much. Kind of chaotic. I know there's a lot of construction going on. Yeah. And we got a lot of international travels, travelers that come through Seattle. So it's busy. It's a hub. Hub. So we do, we will have a new pope. We can expect that Wednesday there. Oh yeah. That happened too. Yes. So the big thing is. They'll get together, decide who it is. The movie Conclave. Have you seen it Uhuh so good with Ralph Fines? Is it about the Pope? It's about electing a new Pope. Oh, okay. It's really interesting. Yeah. I also have read a, a, a quite a bit about it. Well, I remember when they elected this. Last Pope and what I remember paying attention to that a little bit and learning more about it then. I just loved this last Pope so much. I know people's Pope, he was such a human pope. Like he cared about making love more accessible to people and that being the most important thing about. His religion, and I really loved that about him. Yes. And I think there are certain people that maybe want that job of the Pope that should just back the, you know, what f that would you just, you don't need to create those AI pictures. Can't. You don't need to do it. Nope. Can't buy shame, shame, shame on you. My I have a cousin who change the subject. Yeah. Well I have a cousin whose name was Andrew Greeley, and he was a. Priest, I think he was a Cardinal out of Chicago. Oh. So his mother and my grandmother were sisters. I. Cool. So he, he's a social scientist and he also had a column in the Chicago Sun Times. Oh, very good. Yeah. Love that. Yes. My dad was the youngest of 10. Oh my gosh. So, yes. Catholic family. Well, yeah, this was before, I mean, 1930s. This was before. And he met my mom when he was 28, going on 30. I'd be like, after one, I'd be like, get your hands off. I know what happens here. Yeah. Oh wait, something's not right. So, that's interesting. The age difference. Yes. Yeah. But Andrew Greeley is, was a pro prolific writer. Okay. Yes. So he wrote a book, white Smoke, which that's my cousin, white Smoke, which it really is part of interest on how they elect a pope. Did you know that after a couple days, they feed them less? After a couple days of becoming the Pope? No. After a couple days in the conclave where they're, oh, okay. They're together, locked in. They get no cell phones, no technology. Correct. They're locked in every day they get less and less food. Okay. And how long are they in there as well? As long as it takes. As long as it takes, but like a jury. Well, you're getting less and less food. Do you think it's gonna motivate you to Yes. Find a pope? You can make decisions. You're hungry. Yes. You're not gonna hang out. No. You stop shooting the shit after day one, I note. But it's you. You have to see the movie If, if you want conclave. Okay, I'll check it out. That is the back scenes of how they elect a pope. Okay, so there you go. That happens on Wednesday. There's people in the world that maybe should. Watch that movie. Oh no. That think it happens a different way. Oh, well you can't, this was, I like saying things without saying things. Okay. Innuendo. I have a lot of nuns in my family, a lot of nuns, a lot of my. Grandfather's sisters and like aunts. Mm-hmm. Or nuns. Wow. Yeah. Cool. A lot of Catholic nuns. I don't know if we have any popes or not Popes priests. I'm not Catholic. Can you tell if you start doing this there's a whole, there's a whole family tree that somebody did in my family. Yeah. But it'll stop with them. They don't have kids. I don't either. Yeah, that's true. I'm already in the tree. I don't have to work on it. It stops with you too. Boop. But your sister has kids? My sister does, yes. And I have lots of cousins from that side of family that the kids I have. Yes, we have. I the family name was Vander Loop and my last name is Zel. Hazel. Hazel. Hazel, okay. It means. Small rabbit. Nice. Isn't that cute? It is. I'm a little rabbit people, not a bunny little at Easter time. That's funny. Okay, so you, but, but you, you went to a concert. I did. I wanted to talk about some entertainment. In grape view that we are able to enjoy here in the middle of nowhere, and it's amazing that we have these amenities here. Access. So part of my birthday week was I went to see a concert at Nick Kane's. Music venue here in Grape View. It's right off of Highway three. It's right off of Highway three. It's a big outbuilding that they've turned into a stage. It's almost like a little wedding with a stage where, you know, you sit down and you eat. So we had ready Ray's barbecue, which is amazing. Yummy, yummy, yummy. Love their pulled pork and the hot sloth that they make. Oh, that stuff's good. So Nick Kane's has runny rays. Cater this concert. So you eat and then the music starts, but the ticket includes food and alcohol and alcohol or non alcohol. Yes, whatever. Food. Drink. Food. And drink. Yep. And it's, I don't, there's no maximum. So just keep eating till the food's gone and keep drinking as much as you can get in you. It's, there was a few people doing that there. Okay. We did not'cause we had to drive back. But yeah, it's a great spot to hear country music. Nick brings in artists from Nashville. He'll bring in artists. That are traveling from Seattle to Portland or Portland to Seattle.'cause great view is actually a little bit right in between both. Well, it's not a little bit, it's pretty much right in between Portland and Seattle Drivewise. So it's a great spot for artists to do that and I just love that. It's less than 10 minutes, like seven minutes from my house. So that's great. I can go to a concert. It's just like I live in Chicago again. It, it is pretty amazing the quality of the music and the artists, but also the the equipment he has Yeah. Is, yeah, he has that stage that can travel. Wow. So apparently Nick got real interested in songwriting and playing music and singing when Covid hit, and he just wanted to. Have concerts and sing and like work on his music. And so he created this space for himself because I think he was having, I don't know if he was having a hard time getting booked places'cause he's new artist. Nobody had heard him before, so he just wanted to play. So he just went ahead and did it, which I think is real cool. Must have some money. But it's high quality. And it's high quality. And he goes to Nashville and he meets these artists and he works with them. There and he is making music videos. You can listen to his music on Spotify. You can you spell Nick Cain. Nick, NICK. And Cain is C-A-I-N-C-A-I-N. And he has a great venue and you can go online at Nick Kane events and look for things that are coming up. The person that we heard. I'm trying to think of his. Andy Griggs was who we got to see. Just super talented artists and he brought two guys with him and it was kind of like this acoustic jam session. It was so great. They had an opener. Her name was Jenny Ray Miller, I think. Something like that. And she was phenomenal. And then Nick. Played a few of his songs and there were line dancers that were like dancing to his songs. That's great. It was super fun. It was super cute. So yeah, great view is the place to be. If you like country music or if you just wanna get out come to great view and. Head over to Nick's. Yeah. And, and hopefully more people, more artists will perform. But you and I went, we did. And there was an artist from Nashville. Yeah. He was from Nashville too. That was a blues artist. They were great. He was so, he was, and I'm looking around you and I got up and started dancing. Then people got up and started dancing and I don't think they knew the, the attendees, the people that were there. Like this guy is good. Maybe dance. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it was fun. People bop it in their chairs a little bit. Oh good. Okay, good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There was lots of dancing this last time. Well, that's great. It was. So, I'm curious, Susie, what do you think entertainment was like back. When Great View was founded, do you have any info on that? Well, funny you should say that back then, in those days, once they got their life organized and were able to survive, they were they were able to think about entertaining themselves. So a lot, many played an instrument. So they would play an instrument and they would dance, and Eckert had a huge packing facility. Well, they would have parties so they would clean out the the packing facility and then have family members, or I think it was part of the Rainier Club. Okay, so he would have balls, dances, and they would take balls. Were they called balls? That's what the book said. Wow. Yeah. They would take the, the, the steamer I from Tacoma. So then they would meet up here and then they would have a weekend of, of dancing and entertaining. Yeah. At the Eckhart Fruit Company. That was kind of neat. And that, so the Eckhart Fruit Company was on Stretch Island. Yes. Now it's Stretch Island Fruit Company. Now it's Stretch Island Fruit Company. Yeah. Yes. That's how you remember it. And others would have like big parties or picnics, clam bakes on their, on their grounds. And that may last a couple days, so. Oh wow. So these parties last a couple days? Well, yeah, because if they're taking the, the boat from, yeah. Yes. So I wonder, did the people just kinda like. A day with family or were there places for them to stay When they got here? Yeah. Yes. Which goes into a hotel in Allen, but they would also play cards. They were, as I was researching this and reading, they would play cards and have parlor games. It was reported in the. The Shelton newspaper like September, 1905. Wow. They had a wonderful party and they played parlor games and not once. Oh my gosh. Could you imagine if that was the news these days? Wouldn't we all just be so relaxed? But it would be fun. Not once did it mention alcohol. Like, okay, nothing, because it was so early. Maybe they made a fruit cordial themselves maybe, but nothing was mentioned. No one was making wine. Well, we had the, the bell. Bel, but they, alcohol, wine is alcohol. Right, right. So they weren't drinking wine at these parties? They didn't, they didn't say it. Okay. So, they would have then the phone address. Were they drinking grape juice? Did they say they were drinking grape juice? I don't know. Maybe it was code wink, wink. Oh, if they did, they didn't invite the ones that didn't drink. Right. And they didn't wanna get, you know. Well, prohibition wasn't until the twenties. Right. So, so this was beforehand. Yeah. But then the phonograph was invented. Ah. So then they would have, so then they would just play the records and they didn't need those live musicians. Aw, I know. But the other thing that was really interesting were the, the big boats. There was one family that had a huge boat and. They would cruise up the Hood Canal and the San Juan Islands. It had three, three bedrooms. It had a galley. So, wow. That is big. This was big. Yes. And it was huge. Now, there was a Carter's Hotel Carter's in Allen. Okay. And people would stay, so they would come across from Tacoma and they would stay there, or they would stay the night. And because they didn't wanna drive and then. Mrs. Carter applied. Did they have cars? I think so. Or like horse and buggy. It, it didn't have a date on this. Okay. Either way, people, there was a petition that went to Detroit, Detroit, Michigan. No. Great. I know. I'm just being a listener. So they, they re petitioned these new Detroit. Members households can, let's have alcohol at the New Carter's hotel. Well, that was a controversy. Oh. Oh. They just thought, oh, this Mrs. Carter wanted a saloon license and it, she would be better to just stay out of it and not get involved in this. And was there a saloon elsewhere in Allen or, I don't know. I don't know. No. Yeah. Okay. So that was how they had entertainment. Wow. But yeah, so they really did not want alcohol around. Well, this was probably right before prohibition. Prohibition or, yeah. I don't know. Huh? We'll do some digging on that. Yes. So there you Interesting. Okay. So we had some balls, some barn dances. We then we switched to the phonograph and they played records and. Bye-bye to the live musicians. Well, well they're probably still around. It was just probably both is my guess.'cause musicians don't stop playing music. They still play now. Yeah. Based on Nick Kane. Right. I think that it just made it different kinds of music was accessible. It wasn't just, that's great. These instruments that could only play a fiddle in these certain, and they, yeah, they of course they have five songs in their repertoire. Yes. That, yeah. I get it. Well, that is very interesting. So I love that little connection between what we're doing now and what was at the beginning. Yes. So cool. But it, it still is like that here, there, I don't think we have a pub. We don't have a pub in great view. There's a couple restaurants. There's not a lot of pubs in Washington. As someone who comes from Wisconsin where there's like a Catholic church, a bar. A Catholic church. Yes. A bar. A bar, A Catholic church, a bar, A Protestant church. A bar. Yes. Yeah. And and like bars in Wisconsin are bars. They only serve alcohol and maybe like some peanuts or chips or something behind the bar. But I think Washington has a law that you have to serve food in your establishment if you're serving alcohol. So there aren't a lot of true bars here. In Washington. Okay. That has been my experience here. Okay. So a bar, a bar to me is just, has alcohol. Oh, a a, okay. It's not a restaurant and bar or it's not a, we serve pizza and we're mostly a bar kinda deal. Okay. Yeah. I think pub beer, wine, alcohol, and then pub food. Yeah. Yeah. Could that be a bar? I mean, I don't know. We'll have to just maybe do some research on what is a bar and what is a pub, what are, what are the definitions of those things? Okay. I think it's subjective because for me, like a bar is just alcohol.'cause that's what I was, it's like raised on no beer, no beer, no wine, no, you have beer, wine, okay. But like all of those contain alcohol. Right. Anything with, that's a pub to be alcohol. But there, the thing is, there's no food. Oh, okay. Does that make sense? Yes. Almost like a club. Where like there's music and there's alcohol, but there's Can't food that be good. You need food. Yeah. Well, you'll ask. I mean, go to Chicago, go to Wisconsin. Go to la. There's lots of places that are just bars and don't have food. Oh, it's a Washington thing where you have to, I think it's a lot. Okay. I don't know. Let us know. Ooh, if you know the answer to this. Alright. Right in. Excellent. But hello. Ed Grape Cabin in grape view.com, H-E-L-L-O. Excellent. Okay. Yeah, so that is really interesting about pubs and bars. Well look at that. We really went on a tangent there. I know, but that, that's how this happens organically. Yeah. Wow. Wow. Oh, what, what'd you learn this week? Oh man, I got a cool story about hermit crabs. Okay, go. So if a Herbert Crab finds a bigger shell, they'll explore it and see if they can fit. And then if the shell is too big, it'll wait by the shell for up to eight hours as other crabs come along and try it out as well. And as they realize it's too big for them, also, they queue up next to the cra. Next to the shell and form a line. From the biggest crab to the smallest crab. That's amazing. How did they do that? And then they wait for the crab. That is the perfect fit. So. They're all just standing there and they wait for this crab who fits into this bigger shell, and then everyone exchanges shells in sequence. So they all get a new shell, a new home to live in. I, ah, can, so everybody's can't wait. Leveling up. Everybody is like, oh, I get an upgrade. Ooh, I get an upgrade. Ooh, I get an upgrade. It's like Oprah. And everybody gets one. It's not like, mm, I need two shells. I want spot. But you can only look, I don't fit in the biggest shell, but I still want it. Nope. Yes. Hermit crabs. They understand equity and working together. Yes. I love it. I love that story. So I know. Everybody deserves a house. Everybody deserves a house. Hmm. Alright. What'd you learn? What I learned is wow. This past week has been real. Id. Like people are going crazy lines out stuff. Oh, real iy. Yeah. Yeah. So I look at my license. Oh, you don't have it either? Nope. I don't either. How have I been going all around the world and not. You haven't needed it yet. Well, I also found out, this is what I learned. You can use your passport. Yep. As your real ID or a passport card. Yep. And I have both, so I am, there you go. I'm not panicking. People don't panic. Use your passport and then when things settle down, get a driver's license, get that real id. You have a driver's license. Yeah, but it's not the real id. I do have a driver's license. But yeah, you can use your passport also. You might need that to vote if you're a lady who changed your name, just saying no. Yes. Is it a law? It's an executive order.
