Gabbing in Grapeview

Episode 8 - Magical National Parks and Local Delights

Claire and Suzie

Hey guys. Welcome to Gabbing and Grape View the podcast for appreciating the good and lighting up your day. I'm Susie. And I'm Claire. We, and we have a passion. For heartwarming stories we do today we're talking about. That was cute. We weren't sure who was gonna say that part. Could you tell We're usually rarely organized. Oh, yes. So, so organized. We, we have a lot to talk about. We got some things done in the past two weeks. It's been a while since we chatted. Cinco de Mayo was when we chatted. And today is Memorial Day. Well, we it been on a few trips. Well, you have, I've been here. Working. Working, getting stuff done. Yeah, hosting retreats. I don't know why I'm talking for like the guy from SNL copies making, making copies. I like Kim. So Memorial Day, what'd you do this weekend? Oh, we worked. I worked yesterday though, was a nice loungey morning with coffee and breakfast in bed and hanging out with the pets and watching some Star Trek in the morning. Oh good. Yeah, it was fun. We had a good time and then we worked to, from like 12 to seven probably about, yeah, that was. You know, just a normal day getting stuff done. Nothing, nothing exciting. But today we're gonna go over to today is the actual memorial day. And we are going to go over to David's parents' house and grill out on their grill. They have a charcoal grill, so it really gets that like chard flavor. Love that. And. Yeah, just kind of hang out with them. Everything with them has been a lot of like doctor's appointments and healthcare and helping out around the house and things like that, which is awesome and we love doing it. And today we're gonna just go and have some fun. Good. Yeah. Well, yesterday for us, total day of using the grill. I guess it's a grill. It's a smoker. Big smoker, sweet smoke pork butt. Ooh. And then pork butt. Ooh. Yeah. And then of course shredded it and had pulled pork and then coleslaw salad. Fred makes those. But I did a, a gt Ooh, which is apple. No. Two kinds of berries, blueberry and blackberry. The local blackberries here that are super small, but very sweet and don't have all the seeds. Yeah. Oh, Fred bought them from someone who was selling. Like a matter with blackberries, but here if you can get those blackberries, it's like they're good. Oh my. So sweet. Fred. Put a, a little notice out on Facebook. Anybody want sell blueberry or blackberries? So someone did, someone responded, oh, nice. Like$50 for, well, he didn't ask how much he showed up. It'll be 50 bucks. He's like. What? Whoa. So he paid it and so he did. And then, well of course he did. He made the collect. Oh yeah. Yeah. And then when I made it yesterday, he said, Ooh, are those the blackberries from the cartel? Oh, because he got swindled? Yeah. Well, it was like drug money. Where did he go get those blackberries to that somewhere. Gypsy land over by the, no, somewhere in Creek Deer Creek. I don't know. You know what I'm talking about? Yes. Oh, so, but I made this new recipe and I used your almond flour. Yes. So Gillette is just a round dough, pie dough. Yep. And then you put the fruit in the middle and you kind of put it up on the sides. But this one has an almond. Foundation. Mm. Almond and butter and sugar. So you, you like put this paste down and then you put the berries on top. I, I don't know if I've ever had anything as good. My mouth's watering. It's so good. And then I pulled out my ice cream maker. Ooh. And I made cinnamon ice cream. Oh, yum. Oh my gosh. That's fun. Yeah. So you guys were just over there cooking, cooking and eating. Yummy. Yeah. And the baseball game was on. Oh, so fun. Yeah, it was great. Great day. That's great. Yeah. Today is leftovers. Okay. And then just hanging out, doing our thing. Just hanging out before the week hits. Yeah. You got a lot of plans this week? Well, little little things. I watch Orla. My gra Yes. How's Orla? She's awesome. Is she standing on her own now? She's getting there. I'll put her up to the couch and she'll stand with her on her tippy toes. Oh, cute. And so hopefully her once the feet go flat and then she has a little bit stability. Yes, we're having a great time. Oh, so cute. So yeah, just appointments here and there. I'm on the South Puget Sound. College Foundation board. So we have meetings there, eh, little things like that. Little things. Yeah. Just doing your thing. Yep. Doing my, my jam. I love it. I had a little update for the, the listeners that I didn't mention that I just thought of. I wanted to share since we were talking about appointments and stuff, and I have a little, I didn't have any, things show up with that Holter monitor that I Oh yeah. I had way back when, the first episode that we, we posted, I think nothing showed up in that, and I just went and did a stress test. Nothing showed up there. I'm meeting with the cardiologist, we'll see what we wanna go, but I'm just been having PVCs, which is called a prevet contraction. Oh, and. I think it's hormonal. Something that happens during perimenopause, I'm pretty sure. So, just a little listener update on Claire's health. I don't, don't want anybody to be thinking about that and worried about it, so. Oh, good update. Then I'll do the update section here. Okay, so last time we talked, I said I'd get back with the listeners about this order from a Seattle company. Oh yeah. Your calendar. Yeah, that moved. They moved to San Diego. Yeah. They're so cool. I. It's pronounce it Linea and it might be Linea, L-I-N-N-E-A anyway, like Andrea and Andrea. Could be, could be either one. So I just thought that's it. I'll get my calendar and note card order and the, and that'll be it. Well, we were on the road. For our camping trip and I said, oh, why? Here's a, their calendar. They did so, oh, yay. Busy. You're so happy. Oh my gosh. I never, I didn't think it would happen, but I gave it a try, so sent an email. And they said, oh, we loved your email, and we have a story. I said, okay. So they, they have a manager, like an inventory manager or a warehouse manager, and Jason said, Hey Matt, tell me about this calendar. Do we have any extra? Where can we look for them? Because they didn't have it. In their archive either. Sure. So they said, we need this calendar book, appointment book. It's not here. And he said, well, did you look here? Yep. Did you look here? Yep. Well, what about here in the box? And Jason said, no. Ooh. So Matt goes back. And finds it. He found three. Three. Yes. So I got one. They sent it to me, it arrived. It's beautiful. Oh, yay. Yeah. So now I got my, my tooth filled. I told them it was like looking at a missing tooth on the book shelf. Anyway, it's beautiful. So got that done and they got two extra books for their archive, one they needed and that's amazing. Yeah. So. It. Great company. I love it. Yes, love them. I do it every year. It just goes to show that if you want something, you should ask for it. Yeah. It doesn't hurt. All they can say is No. No. Yes. And then you wouldn't be worried about wondering if you'd asked, and I tried. You get it? Yeah. I tried everywhere. Everywhere. And some said they, well, they did too, it sounds like. Yeah. And some warehouses said they have it, but when you tried to buy it. They couldn't find it. Yeah. So good. Good thing, but yay. Happy ending. Yes, that's happy ending. Linea, L-I-N-N-E-A design. Yes. Outta San Diego? Yes. Used to be Seattle. A mom and daughter. Yes, it was mom, daughter. Think it's family. I am not sure if family Affair Linea passed away or not. Anyway. Yeah, still the same good stuff. They have. Beautiful. Uh uh. Travel tags that you would put on your suitcase or, ah, yeah. That, yeah. Oh, gorgeous. Yeah, like vintage artwork. Beautiful. Mm-hmm. Really cool. Okay. There you go. That's my story. I love it. I love it. So in addition to it being Memorial Day today, it's also the New Moon in Gemini for my astrology listeners out there, maybe like one or two. Did you guys know New Moon in Gemini today? Gemini season? Do you know what Gemini? No. Gemini is the twins, so it's kinda like an on or off energy. Oh, okay. Super social. Mm-hmm. Gemini rules the lungs. Which is interesting. I just learned that. And so it's a good time to do like deep breaths, deep breathing, breath work. If you do it, focus on your breathing, you know, just really get it, get those lungs activated. Okay. So that's kind of a fun little, did you know? And what's the other twin? What's the other one? Oh those aren't, the lungs isn't part of the twin thing. It's just Oh, that's just, oh, the body part. Got it. Is ruled by Gemini. Okay. Gemini. Gemini. David is a Gemini Moon I believe. That's nice. Yeah, I don't know any of that, but that's cool. Last night in the hot tub, the stars were amazing. Oh, I bet they were great. Because it's New Moon, so you don't have the moonlight, so the stars are brighter. Yes. Yeah, that's my favorite thing about a new moon. New moons are good times to make intentions to rest and reflect and set new goals. So that's what we do during new moons. Well, it's still, yeah. Yes. Like the lunar cycle is about like that waxing and waning mm-hmm. Thing that like a little bit of a wave. It, the moon is tied to your emotions. So it's a little bit of that involved. But I like to focus in on the New Moon because it's like, okay, what, it's like the planning stage, right? You get to set intentions plan for the next month. What do I wanna see come up? What do I want to reach a full. Expression. And you got 28 days to get that shit done. So Nice. Excellent. I know, right? Mm-hmm. I love it when you got lots of time. Yeah. It re still reminds the phone. I'm like, oh no. I didn't do all the things I was gonna do. It's coming. It's coming. It's here. Yeah. So that, that's a little new Moon info for you if you're interested in more information about New Moon. I do a New Moon newsletter every month. Where can they find that? I think it's on my Instagram. But maybe we'll put it in the show notes. You can sign up for it. Okay. Yeah. There you go. Or send me a message at hello at Gavin in great view.com and I will point you in the right direction. Okay. We've got a lot just thinking g being in great view. They're, we're picking up listeners. Oh yeah. Hey listeners, we love you. We do tell your friends. And so, yes, I've been told that listening to our podcast is a nice distraction from the reality that exists outside. So we see you and we love that that's what you're getting out of this'cause it's a nice distraction for us too. Well, and part of it too. I have friends that maybe don't have time to call me. Oh yeah. And say what's going on? What's going, so they can listen to this and say, oh, Susie went camping. Oh, she made a Colette. Yum. They're gonna be writing in asking for that recipe. If you want Susie's Gillette recipe, send us a message at hello and Gabby and grape food.com. It's so good. And then. I went camping. Yeah, she went camping. It was 10 days. Tell me about your camping it. 10 days. 10 days. 10 days? Yes. In the fifth wheel? No, it's Army, just a trailer. It's a terrific, it's a trailer. Yes. Road trip extraordinaire. 10 days. Went to Ultimate goal for us were the mighty five national parks, which are U in Utah. They're all in Utah. Arches Canyon Lands. Zion and Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef. Okay. We did all but Capital Reef. Okay. Yes. We'll have to do, you'll have to go back for that day. Oh yeah. Beautiful. Oh my gosh. I would recommend everyone should do it. It's each one has its own little kinda like a miracle or crazy science facts for me. I think Zion or Bryce Canyon, I think it's Bryce Canyon, has these like, water, little waterfalls or water coming out of the rocks. Yeah. And you can see it. You could see as you drove through on the. Roads that the Conservation Corps built in the 1930s, still the same roads. Beautiful. They're still, they're amazing. So the water that's coming through now is a thousand years old. Wow. It took a thousand years for the rain water to come through and seep out. Wow. It, it is amazing. Do you. Like touch it. No. If you're on the rope, you like absorb it in your skin. No, stay in the trail. Don't go off the trail. I'm like, I wanna touch that water. I want a thousand year old water on my skin. Even that it stresses out the local, the animals. It stresses out. Oh sure. I'm sure. Yeah. Oh, it's, and also. I would just like to do like a little PSA If you are out there camping, enjoying our national parks this summer, just do a little extra job at taking care of them. If you see some trash, pick it up. You know, replace the toilet paper and the toilet paper thing for'em. If it's there, just do whatever you can.'cause there's not a lot of them out there. A lot of them got let go by the government. Yeah. Yeah. And our parks are gonna suffer from that Yeah. As we populate them this summer. Yeah. So just keep, you know, try to be extra careful so that you don't need emergency. Services while you're in the park too. Like all of that. Like just be extra careful, be extra nice, be extra camper mentality that, that thought of leaving somewhere, somewhere better than it was when you got there. Well, there was someone who was visiting. There were people from all over. Oh, I'm sure the world Germany. German, France some, I don't know where, if he was from Turkey or I can't remember, but it was the Middle East somewhere. Just opened the door of his truck and peed. On the, the concrete, and I don't under, I don't think he understood our culture, but the disrespect to that. And then someone's going to open the door and step in it. Yeah. If you're gonna pee outside, like find a little spot. Don't, no, don't do it in the national parks. Go to the bathroom. Because it stresses out the, the animals. They're like, they'll, what smell is this? They'll. Yes. Yeah. So everybody was embarrassed. One guy was kind and said, Hey, hey, that's, that's not necessary here. And the guy's kids were like, what? What are you doing? Yeah. So the heads up on that people, I. Do you wanna pee? Don't do it in the national park like that. No, eh. Anyway, that was it. That was the only wonky thing we saw. Huh? Everybody was really respectful. Really kind. I love that. I love that. Yeah. The coolest, bougie place. Ooh, tell me right outside a Zion. Yeah. Zion's pretty bou. Oh my God. The restaurants. Yeah. These hotels. Oh really? Yes. Okay. Girls Li girls weekend. Okay. I'd go there in a heartbeat. Saunas, a lot of trailhead right there. Yeah. You could go to some amazing hikes and then come back and Beautiful. Go to a spa. Oh it was, I'm in. Yeah. Loved it kind of. Actually you had me at bougie, like spirit lit up. I was like, tell me the good stuff. So that, that was fun. There's some beautiful. Full RV parks out there as you travel, but as a strategy. Remember that when you're traveling and you go to an RV park, they're, some are right off the freeway. Mm. They're not for camping. They're for, they're not bougie. No. Some are. Some are, yes. Okay. But as you pull in, it's not like a state park or Oh, no, yeah, no. Or dry camping in a national park where it's pretty isolated. No, this is, you can hear the freeway, but yeah, some were. Amazing with a swimming pool and concrete pads and shaded trees and really cool gift shop. It that, that was nice, but some were. Not. Some were pretty run down. And was there a favorite one that you stayed at? Yeah, there was a favorite one I think was mountain Home Idaho. Mountain Home Idaho. Yes. There's a group called Grapevine seven, and it's a family run group. Okay. And they have them in Idaho, Arizona, and one in Washington, Spokane. Okay. So. Nice. So nice. What was, what made it your favorite? Well, when you pulled in, they said, these are the rules. The expectations were right away. And then they had a swimming pool and you could see all the kids swimming it, and it was hot. It was really, really cool. And they had people watching him and he said, follow me. And he got into a golf cart and he, they said like three or four times the speed limit's, seven miles an hour. So you followed him at this very seven miles an hour. And then he pulled around and then he pulled you into your pull through pad and just told you what the rules were and that was it. And everybody followed the rules. I love it. Yeah, it was great. She likes a rule following campground. Well then, yeah, because you get to one that where they didn't follow the rules and they didn't pick up their dog stuff. It's not as good. No, but did Cece like it? She Happy campground? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The grass was thick. They had a picnic table. They had the shaded tree. Yes. It was really, really nice. You could, for those of you who maybe don't remember, CE is Susie's little doggie. She's a good girl. She's a really good girl. So that, that long haired Dotson, right? Yeah, yeah. But there was this we'll talk about what, what I learned Well, okay. Yeah. During the, did you know. Yeah. Well I could do it now. I'll save. I have two. Did you know? But, okay.'cause I don't really have a good one. Okay. This reckoning, spoiler alert, this reckoning on my part where whether it's a mile from the freeway or right off the freeway, are these RV parks as. Neighborhoods. So you have people living there now, not in a manufactured home, but in trailers. So you could see the kids being dropped off by the bus and someone's meeting the school bus. The school bus, and someone's meeting them and taking them home, and you could see'em riding around the campground, campground. With their bikes. So this was a whole reckoning for me that now these RV parks that used to be for in and out camping, they're there, they live there, and they're not manufacture homes. They're like fifth wheels short and, and. Pretty short. Yeah. They're not tiny homes, but this is I'm sure what they can afford. Yeah. And there were some retirees. There was one we were next to, and you could tell they came over the, oh, you're new. Yep. They had the whole, but they had a fifth wheel. In Sunnyside. Okay. And it was a nice park, fifth wheel and Sunnyside. And they stayed there for six months and they had another fifth wheel in Arizona. Okay. And they would go and back and forth, forth, back and forth. So they didn't have to move'em? No. They just, they didn't have to tow it, but I just thought, oh wow. This is the new thing. Yeah. Where it's really hard to afford a home. Yep. Even rent. Yeah. Yeah, it's hard. They're just little metal trailers. So that's what, that was interesting to me. Yes. It's interesting. I love the fact that they are creating community even in like whatever situation they're in. That's amazing that they just set up shop and they have their little community there and they, they knew when someone new was there and Yep. I love it too. And the kids seem happy. The kids probably did now. Yeah. They don't know. I mean, they're being provided for. Yeah. So that's awesome. I love that. Well, I have been busy with co-hosting a women's retreat. Yeah. At the Hideaway. It was last weekend and it was very fun, very successful, I would say. We did a lot of things. I kinda learned that. Maybe less is more a little bit.'cause I was exhausted at the end of it. And then I had to like work to like get it ready for the next people coming in as well. But we had a really lovely time. We did a hike out to Stein Island Stein Island State Park, and that is one of my favorite hikes to do. It's not super strenuous. It's just kind of relaxing. You get to experience a lot of different little microclimates. You really feel like you're in the Pacific Northwest with the moss and the ferns and the giant cedar trees. And I'm sure there's like, there's giant hemlocks or some kind of a pine tree out there too. But you go down to the beach, the beaches, like there was no one else there when we were there. And granted it was like a Monday afternoon at noon, but. Still, like you'd have to have somebody on the trail, you'd think Nice. Nobody was there. So it was all, the whole park was all to us the whole time. And can you camp there? You cannot. Okay. You can camp at the, is it. Something. Jar Cove. I think it's called Gerald Cove. Yeah. And that's just a few like a mile away, maybe two miles away. Okay. From there. But it's on a different part of the island. This face is east. This, this portion of the park faces east. But it's just really nice for hiking, day hiking. Love it. Love it. Get to go down to the water. Good. She out the little inlet there. You can bring your dog on a leash, you can bring your dog on a leash. It's lovely. And then the other thing that was really cool that we had was I hired a caterer out of union called Wild and Woodsy, and her name is Heather and she works with her mom and then she has some staff that she works with. And we had our lunches and dinners catered the for the retreat so we didn't have to worry about. Cooking and cleaning up and all of that. And the food was just delicious. We were able to really work with a lot of dietary issues. It seemed like everybody, well, five out of the seven of us had dietary issues, so, and they weren't all the same either, so that was probably really Wow. You know, hard for her to figure out. But we've, we'd figured it out and everything was really delicious. Yeah. And that was, it was just a really nice time to connect with like-minded women. And where did they come from? Two, the women. Yeah. So I've met most of these ladies on a retreat that I did one in Costa Rica and then one in Mexico. And two of them are from Denver. One of those two women was co-hosting the retreat with me. And then two of the women were from Philadelphia and one of those women was helping us also with the retreat. And then we had two people that were local. I. One is a friend of mine, Cassandra, who I've mentioned before on the podcast. Hi Cassandra. It was Cassandra's birthday on the retreat and so it was really fun for me to like spoil her a little bit. And then the other woman is out of Olympia, but she's originally from Philadelphia. So lots of Philadelphia connections some Denver connections and then local here. So it was a, it was a great time. We had a we had fun doing yoga. We did breath work. We did tapping EFT, which is emotional freedom, te technique. I have a friend at a gig harbor that does that. If anybody's interested let me know. And then we did that hike. What else did we do? Lots of, did I say breath work? Yeah. Some meditations and there's some really cool pictures that people posted on your Instagram ca Instagram account. Yeah. If you go to the Hideaway Mason Lake on Instagram and click on the highlights, the retreats, highlights you can watch all of our goings on. Oh, the thing that I didn't mention was Colleen over at Ben Pine. The lady who owns Ben Vine with her husband, she came and taught us belly dancing, and that was super fun. I got really stepped outta my comfort zone there and had a blast. Good. So that was fun. Good. But yeah, lots of fun adventures to local spots or, you know, local businesses. So love that. Good. And then you'll do, do it again. Looking forward to it. I think I would do it again maybe in a different way. Maybe ho co-hosting a retreat somewhere. Not at my business to, I think it was hard for me to separate that, that like, I really tried very hard, I had that intention to separate it, but it was also like really, really difficult. And if I just didn't do that, it would, it would, be maybe better for me, but I think that the Hideaway itself is a perfect place to have a retreat. It really allowed us to do all the activities we needed to do and also relax in the hot tub and the sauna, and explore the trails and that sort of thing too. So cool. Oh, good. So if anybody's interested in hosting a retreat there, we had seven and we had a little rv, but you could do it without the RV if you were Okay. Getting cozy in the beds together. Yeah. That's awesome. That's, and I think it would be fun to have family there too. Oh, yeah. Family vacations, all of that sort of thing. We have some availability over there at the Hideaway, so if you're interested in, in looking at that or booking it, it's, you can go on the Instagram, the Hideaway, Mason Lake, and all of my links are are there as well. Yeah. Yeah. And then I also started a Airbnb, I launched a new Airbnb with, an an owner, a client, and that got launched on Friday this week. And so that's live. So if you're looking to come and explore the Bremerton area, maybe more like sbo, Silverdale, that sort of thing. Or even Belfair, you know, lovely, beautiful Belfer. Yes. Good. That is a, it's live and you can find it on, it's called, woodland Escape on Mission Lake is the official name of it. Nice. And it's a four bedroom, three and a half bath home on the lake. There's no like dock for your boat lodge or anything like that, but you can take kayaks out or go swimming, things like that. Oh, fun. Yeah. I can't wait to hear that. How it's progressing. Yeah.'cause that you launched that with her. Yeah, we just launched it Friday. We got one booking already for June. But the calendar's available elsewise, so if you're interested in coming out and visiting us, you can say at either Airbnb probably. Good. So any trips planned. No, not any trips planned. We're just kind of hanging out here for the summer. We don't have any more visitors coming that I know of. Yeah, maybe my parents might come out. We talked about maybe going up towards like Vancouver for a weekend or something like that, but it's just a conversation at this point. I am going on another retreat in Mexico in October. That is gonna be amazing. And I think there's spots left, so if anybody's interested in that, let me know. This one's gonna be in Eppa, which is by Porto Bayata, so it's a little easier flight for those of us on the West Coast. But yeah, that's all, that's all I got. Oh, good. For trips. How about you? Yeah. Any trips planned? Yep. Doing some camping at Whiskey Creek. Okay. Which is on the Strait of Wanda Fuca now called. Oh yeah. We were looking at that, the sail. You guys decided to go out there? Yes. That's awesome. Yeah. Yes. So I think within the next few weeks, head out west. It's beautiful, really beautiful out there. Do that. And then of course, long Beach. Yeah. Be 4th of July. Okay. And and that's Kevin. Kevin and Kaylin. Yep. And Finn. And Finn. And. Yeah. Camping here and there, but we have, we like staying home. This is the best place in the summer. Yeah. The best. Yeah. It's hard to travel elsewhere in the summertime here. Yes. Even if I go home to Green Bay, I'm like, it's nice here, but there's bugs and the trees are short. Right. Well, and when you have such a big yard and property and you plant things, you, you want to take care of them, but you wanna watch'em grow, you want to. Be a part of that and you come back and you're like, oh, you're so much bigger. Look how many bees. Yeah. That's a fun part about being here for sure, is watching stuff grow. We have a little bit of work to do here at home. I did some weeding yesterday at the Hideaway. That's, that was satisfying. Oh, good. And then I walked away and I went back and I saw like five more leads. Oh, I do that all the time. I'm excited for your cherry trees. I don't know what you're talking about. I don't think we have cherry trees. Fred says you do. So I've never seen. Check it out. Seen. Okay, we'll check that out. And pears, pear. We do have a pear tree. Yes. The pear fruit is very high up. I'm excited to watch you try to get the fruit. Okay. I am excited to do it. And then, I don't know if you noticed, but we have a new baby Deer of bond. We do. We talked about that on Friday. When you came over, did you remember? Well, baby deer. I don't think I was there yet. Okay. I was, you were talking to David about it and I was snuggling Ziggy. Yes. And then David sent me a text and said, are you coming? And I was like, oh, shit. I gotta go with Ziggy. Yes. Ziggy is so cute. Yeah. Oh, I'm excited to see the baby deer, right? Yes. So I always worry about them. Yeah. And then there was a buck in the backyard. Oh. So. Yes. Little one year or two. Okay. So anyway, couple things going on though in the national news. Yeah, I'm talk about deep breathing. I'm just a little grumpy. Same girl. I, I don't know. Are we gonna talk about it? Don know? I don't know. I think we gotta keep it light. Oh, okay. I don't know. I have a lot of feelings about it. I don't know if everyone is prepared for those feelings. Well, I hope they I, yeah, I just feel like, I think there's something to be said for morality and. Having a moral compass, taking care. I think a lot of people have lost their moral compass. I pray for them to get it back. I cannot, that's what I'm gonna say. Okay. I can't believe the silence of some of these. People when the rich keep getting richer and nobody's taking care of the poor, nobody is watching out for them. Yep. Oh, we gotta cut the budget. We gotta cut the budget. I'm like, what? What are you talking about? We're known for compassion and empathy. Yeah. And maybe don't make so many weapons. Maybe cut the budget there. Ugh. Maybe stop making so many weapons. Yeah. May I think the new Pope will bring some. I hope so. Oh, okay. So, but yeah, that's my prayer, that's my intention. That's my wish. This new moon in Gemini is to, I don't know, connect with the collective and invite them to embrace their moral compass Pro. For me, it's probably. The silence is deafening. Speak up. Yeah. These people that know better, well, that's the thing. And are afraid. Well, that's like if you have a moral compass, you cannot help but speak up. And those that can't see it, you're like, what? Can't you see it? And like, can we just, okay, so I saw this thing. I'm just gonna mention this'cause I don't know, we haven't talked about it. Uhoh, I saw this thing about inspecting young girls in middle school and high school to see if. Who are joining sports to see if their genitalia no. Is there was a vote in the Senate on it. 51 senators voted for this thing to happen. Is it part of that new bill that was just passed? The big beautiful bill? It was the Senate, not the house. What was it? A state thing. I'm not, it was not a state thing. It was a Senate. Okay. There was 51 senators. I don't know who those senators are, but I just don't think that that's okay. And Oh, I need more information. We, we need more information on that. Yes, I do. I need more. But if there are people that are voting for things like that in whether this is true or not. I, those are the people that I'm talking to when I say Find your moral compass. Okay, find it. Mine is, did you know that Harvard is?
