Unfortunately we all know Cyprus today for another reason, the brutal Turkish invasion, and occupation of the northern Third of the island, where to this day 40,000 Turkish troops occupy a Pseudo-State , called the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus…A state only in name…which is not recognized by any country in the world, save Turkey.
But we won’t cover that today. Today, we’ll be transporting ourselves back to a simpler time, when there was one island, united and whole, under the crown of the British empire. I Hope you enjoy the show!
