Favor a wall. In shrub a chef. I will use Christopher. Amen. Hallelujah. Powerful. Philippians 2, verse 19. Last two weeks, this month, our theme for the month is thinking about others. And last two weeks we began talking about the mindset of others. But when we were ending, we began the Lord began to minister to us. So we said that then we take the next Sunday. Um we take time to minister to give the Lord time to minister to us. And the Lord was gracious and spoke to us. But today I want us to go back to our topic for the month and not thinking about others. But today I want to share with you the seven blessings of thinking about others. Amen. Philippians chapter 2, verse 19 to 24. And I read, but I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you surely that I also may be encouraged when I know your state. Next. Not the things which are of Christ. See all men seek their own. But I will seek their own, the interest of Christ and others. Paul here is talking to the church in Philippi. And Paul is telling them that I've heard that you are in trouble, people are worried, you are in some kind of situation. But I can't come right now to come and solve the problem. But I will send my son Timothy. Paul had many sons. Paul was a general overseer, had many junior pastors. And he's saying that I've heard that people are in trouble, but I can't be there right now. So I'm going to send one of my people to come and minister to you and come and look for your look out for your welfare. But I'm sending Timothy. Why Timothy? Because see, Timothy is the only person who is like-minded like me. Timothy Timothy Kwana GJ said, interest at heart. Because all the people, all men, have one tendency, they are selfish. Everyone in the room said no. I I alone said I'll do it. But I'll do it. Anti Diamond. Paul is saying that all men seek their own. Listen, the fallen nature of man has this tendency, selfishness. Every man when he wakes up in 24 hours, all they think about is how to better their lives. Paul said, for all men, for all see their own. Not the things which are of Christ. What was Paul saying? Paul said, many are many people are in the church, but beyond you know they are Christ air. Except Timothy. Now let me tell you something. Timothy, his father was a gentile, his mother was a Jew. Timothy was a young pastor, very, very small boy. His belief said not Timothy around 15 years before he met Paul. Timothy became the youngest bishop, he was about 18 years and had a very big church. Why? Because Timothy had this heart, not a dream uncle for him. Do you know why God chose David? You know why God chose David? God chose it because he saw their heart, he did it hard for people. Why? Because of others. He made himself of no reputation. He took on the he took on the the image of a born servant. And he took on flesh, and he came to die the death of shame. Why? Not for himself, but for you and I. Do you want to see God move mind in your life? Think about Addis. Let me show you a scripture. Philippians 2. This is Philippians 2. Let's go to verse 3 to 4. Look at something. Philippians 2, 3 to 4. Philippians 2. But I trust in the Lord that I myself, no no no. Philippians 2, 3 to 4. Philippians chapter 2, 3 to 4. Okay. Look at what Paul is saying. Paul is saying that let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit. Let nothing. Don't give in selfishness. Don't don't come to church. See, everything you are doing there, I can I I see everything you are doing there, we can point to an interest you have. That's what you are doing. Many years ago, one one girl, one girl, we wanted to marry one guy, we are going out. And the guy, the girl kept pushing the guy. It's been four years now. Why wouldn't you propose? Why wouldn't you propose? Why don't you propose? So I went to say some. No, I want to say some. And the guy asked me a question. He said, Ask her, what is her interest in this marriage? You see, when you when everything you do is about yourself, God will never be part of it. See, God's biggest problem is not sin. God has dealt with sin by the blood of his son Christ Jesus. The biggest problem of God is selfishness. Every pride and arrogance, self interseed. Do you know who I am? It is self. You hear them say me, me, me, me, me, give them time. God will fight them. I say, let nothing be done to establish ambition or conceit, but in lowness of mind, in the humility of mind, let each one explain at this. At this, who would you put don't explain yourself? Men now let me JC. I don't know. Men I'm here the legal practice now. In the lowliness of mind, in the humility of mind, let each one esteem Adam better than himself. This thing, many people can do it. Let me tell you. If we can follow this thing, life will be simple. Where I think about software Jason, it thinks about me. Look out for the interest of others. That is why if you are praying, you will pray for others. If you are giving, think about others. If you are fasting, you are fasting for others. Unless you check yourself and just say, No, this one let's do it for God. David said, I will not give God anything that will not cost me. David said, I won't spend more on myself than I spend on God. It was David who said that I will not give sleep to my eye, not slammer to my eye until I build God a house. As a matter of fact, all the gold that Solomon used to build a temple, it was able to give it to him, not solomon. Now, my three things must become you must lose your reputation to be able to think about others. Sometimes, you know, man comes and they come and clean here. Or a nurse. And they come to they come and clean here. Or a businesswoman. People have this notion say people who work in church are jobless. They are poor people. I'm giving example. This woman's a nest here. We want to own shop or tone and shoes. Amen. They come and they come and Wednesday. They come here and they come and intercede for you, not themselves, for you.

They declare fasting for you, not for themselves. They can say, said, I am I am this, I am that. No. It won't think about others. First, be what? Be selfless. Number two, be humble. You can't think about others without sacrificing yourself. Learn to sacrifice yourself. Listen, everybody that thought about others sacrifice themselves. Sometimes it will take sacrificing yourself to bless others. Because what you are what you want to eat will be school fees in chair. Sometimes you must discomfort yourself to give somebody comfort. This our generation likes too much self. Do this for this person. What what you are blocking your own blessings? Every opportunity God gives you to bless somebody is a seed you are planting for a heart that is coming to your life. And they saw other churches giving the members rice, uh oil.
