Vegans Talking Shit
Vegans are a controversial, much-maligned group, but we're all just regular human beings who live, love, and laugh. And man, can we talk shit. Join Jon, Vanessa, and Joey as we talk shit about what it's like to be vegan. Every week, we'll be talking shit about a different topic related to living a vegan lifestyle; the good, the bad, and the ugly. But since we seem to be completely incapable of staying on topic, we also talk shit about music, movies, comic books, and anything else that might come up during the conversation. So tune in to Vegans Talking Shit, available weekly on Apple Podcasts, Amazon, Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts. Vegans Talking Shit
Ethical Vegans Vs. Health Vegans, Part I
In part one of a two-part episode, The Tofu Trio discusses the occasional hostility between ethical vegans and health vegans. Before too long, it's Joey vs. Jon and Vanessa as they have a disagreement about the ethics of confrontational vegan activists. Jon then tells the sordid tale of the night he relapsed, and cheated on his veganism to eat a shish kebab. They eventually discuss lab-grown meat before moving on to a discussion about cryogenics, the enormity of the insects in Brazil, and the awesomeness of "They Live," the John Carpenter movie starring the late, great pro wrestling legend, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Trigger warning for our non-vegan listeners: The views and opinions expressed in this episode may upset you enough to write us a sternly-worded message.
