Join Jon, Vanessa, and Joey as we talk shit about what it's like to be vegan. Every week, we'll be talking shit about a different topic related to living a vegan lifestyle; the good, the bad, and the ugly. But since we seem to be completely incapable of staying on topic, we also talk shit about music, movies, comic books, and anything else that might come up during the conversation. Joey Flies Solo Again
With Jon and Vanessa on vacation, Joey flies solo once again for this special Christmas edition of Vegans Talking Shit. Back in April, Joey's first solo attempt clocked in at just over 10 minutes. This time, he's much more loquacious. The vegan talk is light, but the content is heavy. Joey finally answers lingering questions from previous episodes: What did he think of "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair"? And did he ever adopt that kitten from Petco? Things take a personal turn as he discusses mental health struggles, the importance of therapy, and the sustainability of a weekly release schedule. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper episode without Joey letting his geek flag fly, so he dives into the "Supergirl" trailer, his thoughts on season two of "The Last of Us," and the industry-shaking news of Netflix acquiring Warner Bros. To wrap things up, Joey shares his Christmas wish while taking a few shots at a certain well-known political figure. Throughout the episode, Khaleesi makes her presence known, though some of it is just the sound of her grunting and snoring.
