Ridge Alkonis never imagined that a car accident in Japan would change his life forever. Sentenced to 3 years in prison (he only served 537 days), he faced isolation, uncertainty, and hardship. But even in the darkest moments, he saw the hand of God—through a letter arriving at just the right time, his ability to help fellow inmates communicate, and the unexpected blessing of working in a tailor shop.
