Ep 069: Wisdom Chigbu on Faith, Revelation, and Survival in the Midst of War
He left Nigeria to pursue an education—then found himself trapped in the middle of a war.
What followed was a journey led not by certainty… but by revelation.
Wisdom Chigbu grew up in a faithful home in Nigeria, carrying the dreams of his family with him as he traveled alone to Ukraine for school.
In February 2022, everything changed.
For five days, he lived in a war zone—sleeping in metro stations, helping women and children escape, walking miles with little food or water, and making impossible decisions based only on spiritual promptings.
At critical moments, he felt impressed to leave trains, change direction, and trust guidance he couldn’t yet explain.
Though his faith was tested deeply, looking back he can clearly see the hand of God—through strangers, church leaders, the U.S. military, and quiet revelations that ultimately led him to safety, community, and a new beginning in the United States.
His story is a powerful reminder that the Lord speaks to each of us differently—and it’s our responsibility to learn how He speaks to us.
