Days before her 19th birthday, Jill McAuley’s life changed in an instant.
What she didn’t know then was that God was about to redefine her identity—not around what was lost, but around who she had always been.

Jill McAuley grew up singing, riding horses, playing sports, and navigating life as the peacemaker in a big family. But a devastating car accident left her with a severe spinal cord injury, reshaping every plan she had for her future.

In the years that followed, Jill lived in survival mode—learning how to do everything again, carrying silent emotional burdens, and trying not to be a “burden” to anyone… including God. Her life looked full on the outside, but inside it felt flat—missing joy, missing peace.

Everything began to change when Jill finally invited the Lord into the weight she had been carrying alone. In that sacred space, fear and anger were met with peace and light. She began to understand a truth that now defines her life: she is not her disability—she is a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father.

Today, Jill is an advocate, leader, and voice for those navigating disability, mental health, and faith. She teaches that true confidence—covenant confidence—comes from aligning our lives with Christ, remembering our divine identity daily, and living for something bigger than ourselves.
