#15 - Sandy Chadha - How Selling Batteries Turned Into A £200m Business

Michael Taylor

Sandy Chadha is the chief executive of Supreme plc, an AIM listed company based in Manchester.

He joined his father's shop in 1989 as employee number four and by chance started selling batteries.

This turned out to be lucrative and the business was sold to private equity, and unfortunately went bust. Sandy bought Supreme out of administration and has been running it ever since.
