Put A Quarter In It Podcast
We will be discussing all things in the world of energy healing. All the healers, the initiatives, the seers, the readers, the channelers, the ministers, the crystal workers, the empaths, the physicists, the teachers, the authors, the visionaries, the sages and of course the prophets, that converge in this glorious world of subtle energy exploration is extraordinary. The inspiration for this podcast comes from years of listening to the brilliance of my friends, Dr. Sara Allen and Debra Hurt.
The name comes from a student who was in a class that Debra and Sara were teaching. She said she loved asking a question and getting a really juicy, in depth, OVER answers to her questions. Debra and Sara really do over answer every question. This student proclaimed that she was going to bring a roll of quarters and keep feeding the juke-box to hear all the hits...she was gonna “put a quarter in it and just sit back and listen”. We thought that was really funny and it has stuck.

Welcome to another set of conversations with Dr. Sarah Allen and Deborah Hurt. I'm Jill Stevens with Put a Quarter in It. Energy Medicine Protocols for Dating starts our first discussion. Particularly, Deborah's dirty window points wreaking havoc with her ability to pick a mate. Plus, the life cycles of women and men as we age and how they differ in arrangement when we are in the Wu Tao versus the Wu Ji. Also, why do women and men have different entry and exit points? Let's take a listen.
SPEAKER_02Well, we had a good class this weekend. Yeah, we did. It was fun, and everybody seems to have got a lot out of it. We taught the goddess class.
SPEAKER_01The God of the Matter class. Yeah. That four-day class where we teach people the alternate, not the alternate, the original. The original energy pattern of the Chong Mai Tower. Not a lot of people know that we have an axle and a wheel. Multiple wheels. Multiple wheels, yeah. So we have seven wheels and one big long axle called the Chong Mai Tower. So we taught about that. You know what we were talking about last night? About pericardium and energy medicine protocols for dating is what I want to talk about. And so it made me, because we're always picking on Deborah and her love life in my terrible love life.
SPEAKER_02I got me a bad picker.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we think we've decided you have a bad picker.
SPEAKER_02A bad picker. You're a bad picker. At least at least my bad picker got a good man, even if he's not very durable. Your bad picker this time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, really. Yeah. He's a nice man. He's a nice man. But he's not very durable. He's not listening to this, right? God, I hope not. Okay, so maybe we should maybe we should move on. Move on. Because I have lots of things we can talk about, but I'm not sure it yeah, let's not.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Let's not. Let's not. Let's not. Let's not. But you know why I think you have a bad picker? It's because I think you've got a lot of irregularity in pericardium. I'm right. Mm-hmm. And guess where we found your irregularity in your pericardium? Because you like boys.
SPEAKER_02Yep. In my pericardium two. On your right side. On my right side. On your young side. And my pericardium nine on my right side. Everybody else was pretty good.
SPEAKER_01You know what's really sucks about pericardium 2 for you? It's my entry point. It's your entry point. So the pericardium meridian is a little different in men and women. The entry and exit points.
SPEAKER_02So Pericardium 2. Which is also, interestingly, is also the test point for blood pressure.
SPEAKER_01And what? Do you want to talk about your blood pressure? My blood pressure.
SPEAKER_02My blood pressure has been an issue, but only intermittently. Well, no, recently it's uh I've I've been really doing a lot with it. So I've been spending a lot of time on pericardium 2.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So let me read you a little bit about pericardium 2. Yeah. All right. Oh, it's a window point. Yeah. My window's dirty. You do have a dirty window. Heavenly spring or celestial spring. Window, it's the entry point for pericardium on women, which I think is interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Now let me say that before we move on. We'll read pericardium one, but the entry point for men in pericardium is one. So for a long time I talk about, you've heard me talk about um how kidney meridian leaves at K22 and it goes to circsex one. Well, apparently it goes from K-22 to circsex two on us. Yeah, and on men it's going to go to one. So yeah, it's a longer way to go on girls. So cleansing and healing water. This is from this is Worsley. Cleansing and healing water, infusion of spirit, the spirit of fire, an infinite accumulation of warmth and spirit, the next best thing to a window. Good for cleanse cleansing at the spirit level, a source of purity. Oh, that's the problem.
SPEAKER_02It's a source of purity.
SPEAKER_01That's why it's irregular on you. Yeah. That's for sure. For deep. I swear I'm not. This is written down. Yeah. By Worsley. She's reading this off. For deep breath levels of pollution and toxicity that need to be cleaned out. Unpolluted. Drinking from God's Ming. It is the same, it's the same spring as heart one, so utmost source and kidney one for the spring. Oh, so I didn't know that. So it's the same spring for heart one and kidney one, the spring with the heavenly character. Pure brightness of water, this point invigorates, distributes, and increases vital energy, an infinite accumulation of warmth and spirit. For nourishing mothers who don't have enough milk, heat is drying up the supply. Major effects on chest, heart palpitations, cardiac pain, pneumonia, pulmonary congestion, menstrual problems. It's safer to use this point on women than PC1 for those reasons. High fever without sweating, classic point for fear of wind and cold. Heart closed, unresolved issues from past relations. Emotional wounds, difficulty with intimate relations due to past experience of betrayal opens the door for the spirit to help with intimacy, but not as directly as PC one. Oh, interesting. In men, let me see, celestial window. It's also a window, celestial window. But it's not a window point, but it has window in the name. You can reach, so this is for men, PC1 or us. I mean, we have a PC one, but you all know me. I'm Cirque Sex One. You can reach the soul and depth of the person, both mentally and physically. The pond of God, a holy river, where we can maintain purity of the spirit. The patient can be bathed here, healed, and cleansed in the tranquil water that balances, restores, and calms the fire. Opens up the person to realize they are not islands unto themselves. Why do the men get the better point? I don't know if they need it more? Yep, maybe. Renews the quality of love.
SPEAKER_02They can't handle our point. That's that's right.
SPEAKER_01See uh bathing, bathing here will enrich the body, mind, and spirit, and lift the patient out of depression. I mean, we still have the access to this, but renews the quality of love, that which that which we take in. A pool or a pond, large expanse of water where deep forces of life are gathered, a place where you can re uh reorient the patient to heavenly love, which they may have lost.
unknownHuh.
SPEAKER_01Connects us with something vast, boundless, a majesty of life beyond normal comprehension, gives a sense of vast expansion, germination of seed, water full of warmth, light, heavenly refreshment taking you beyond time and space into a larger heavenly relationship. Releases a terrific amount of energy into the meridian. PC1 and PC2 are good together, men only. PC1 puts the patient in touch with the self. PC2 gives the movement to do something with it. That explains it. It is unsafe to use on women unless you're very experienced, treats sexual disorders and abnormalities, mammary pain, melancholy, all chronic illnesses. And that's from Warsley. And Lonnie uses this point to treat betrayal. It's one of it in his betrayal class. So, yeah, so that line, that one line, PC one puts the patient in touch with themselves, and PC two gives the movement to do something with it, other than the double entendre of masturbation that I hear there. Of course, I would hear that.
SPEAKER_02Of course. You can only use your middle finger, though. You've got to bring PC9 into it.
SPEAKER_01So so we're really intrigued with this whole idea that men and women pericardians act really differently. Well, I was thinking about that this morning. And the exit point, the exit points are different, too. Let me just let me just say that really quickly. So on men, I'll say this for the for the for the the pod. Men, the entry point For the home audience. For the home audience. Mentry Mentory. Men, the entry point is CX1, and the exit is CX8 on the hand. Aaron Powell That explains a lot. They get out of the toil. They get out of the toil. Women's work. We're stuck cleaning the dishes every fucking night. And for men, women, the entry point for circ sex is two, and the exit point is nine. So it goes all the way to the tip of the middle finger, likely so we can flip them off.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. What do you mean you're gonna you're not gonna clean the dishes? What do you mean you're not gonna pick the kids up from school? Oh, you can't see that we're flipping these guys off. Yes, that's probably good. We're no, we're just doing finger modes. Yeah, finger modes. The finger modes. The finger, the the mode of the finger. So I was because we we had talked about this a little early, but there was something in class that made me think of this too, and I can't can't recall quite what it was, but I was thinking about the oh, I know what it was. You were talking you were you mentioned in class that you started talking to Albert Einstein at age eight. Eight. And it and so it was But I didn't know who he was. You didn't know he who he was. No. And I was thinking that's so interesting because that would have been the first year of your second cycle. So I was thinking about the difference in the cycles, the the life cycles that the Chin that they use in Chinese medicine and also in Feng Shui for men and women. Women are on a seven-year cycle, men are on an eight-year cycle, which is one of the explanations for why m women mature at a younger age, right? So we have our first cycle be the first seven years, and then seven to fourteen, and then fourteen to twenty one, and twenty-one to um uh twenty eight, and then twenty-eight to thirty-five, and uh so on. And then for the guys, it's one to eight, eight to sixteen, uh sixteen four, twenty four to thirty-two, thirty-two to forty, etc. So we we move forward faster being on a being on a seven-year cycle than being on an eight-year cycle. But it also is really interesting to me if I think about the two models of the five elements. So for a woman to get uh in the wu Xing, right, where all five are on the outside, five times seven is thirty-five. Am I right? Okay.
SPEAKER_01She looks to Jill. She did not look to me for that answer. Because she knew I would have not enough fingers and toes.
SPEAKER_02So in in in the wuji, that metal, the last part of that that first cycle is 35 to 42, right? Because uh the sixth cycle is gonna start again in water. So that 35 to 42, so for the men, it's gonna be uh let's see, seven. So eight times for 32 to 40.
SPEAKER_01I've left the room because I don't know what they're doing.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So for so for the guys, it's 32 to 40. So right in there, that that is right around the time when Uranus hits its opposite its natal position in opposition, right? So the Uranus opposition is when lightning strikes your life and something really unexpected happens. This is when a lot of people get divorced, it's when a lot of, you know, it's there's always a big life change that happens during that time. And it's usually it usually has some reference to what happened in your Saturn return. So if we have Earth in the middle, the Wu Tao, then that metal phase for women, let's see, one, two, three, is gonna be 21 to 28. And for men is gonna be 24 to 32. So in that cycle, it's gonna encompass the Saturn return. So which which makes more sense because Saturn is the planet of contraction. So we're going through that metal phase before we before we head into water. So I just I don't know, I just found it interesting that there is a much more interesting arrangement if we've got Earth in the middle than if we're in the Wuzhing. And and we're looking at what's what's handling the end of that first cycle is gonna be the unexpected. It's gonna be Uranus, it's gonna be shock. What's ending the first cycle in the Wu Tao is gonna be Saturn, it's gonna be can it's gonna be consolidation. So we move out of that first cycle in a completely different way if we're in the Wu Jing or the Wu Tao. You're looking at me like you have no idea what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_01I really kind of don't, but I have a feeling, I have a feeling there's a lot of people that do, so I am nodding politely like I'm a person smiling.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02I think you would probably get it if I could draw a picture, but we are not doing video.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02Just to say the word, we can. So oh God, no. So anyway, all of this to say there's a there's a big difference in pericardium as far as the where the energy moves in and out between men and women, and our life cycles are really significantly different too. And they become more different the older we get. And there's one, I I think there's one point at which we actually lap them. I can't remember what age it is. And I'm not gonna try and do the math. Thank you. Yeah. I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_01I'm not gonna try and do it either. Okay. Anyway. So when when we talk about entry and exit points, and why I think that's interesting that your entry point is messed up. And your exit point was two when we were playing with this. Yeah, you're at nine. So two and nine.
SPEAKER_02This territory is off limits. Which there's a seven difference there. Yeah. Well, actually there is.
SPEAKER_01Now they're just messing with me. Well, I know she's doing math. They're just messing with me. They're just messing with me. So with those entry and exit points, what's and what was also really interesting in this process, the entry and exit points, when those entry and exit points happen, it's a little bit like a rabbit running out into a clear field and being susceptible to the hawk getting it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So like there's lots of, and I'm and I'm always It's vulnerability. You know, what the fuck is this dangling participle? So Lung leaves the meridian at seven. It's a lot, is the eight is eight is the exit point.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so that means nine, ten, and eleven, what's what the fuck are they? Just dangling there like that string. Don't pull the string, right? Well, what I'm discovering is that these exit points that hang out there in that, in that they are protected by the weichi. So it's a little bit like when the rabbit goes out into the field, and if it happens to be the end of the meridian that is not protected by the meridian itself, the weichi, one of the purposes of weichi is to protect that. So there's something about the energy that needs to exit the system and go into the auric field to be effective. Really fascinates me. Absolutely. And the fact that it runs into the weichi. So the weichi, if somebody's just tuning in, weichi, the Ayurvedics, the yogis talk about chakras and auras, and they always kind of make fun of the Chinese for being in aura denial. And the Chinese, the Chinese make fun of the Ayurvedics and they say it's just ridiculous. But then when they talk about the Weichi, which is this inch of energy that that sits on top of the skin outside of the body, the Ayurvedics all say, ha ha ha, you have an aura. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. See? So the Weichi, the Weichi, when we overlay that with the Ayurvedics, the Ayurvedics have the layers of the aura, and the closest layer to us is a layer that hugs us like spanx. And once in a while, uh, you know, because I I hung out in Chicago so long, a thousand years ago in the 80s, it was really, really a big novel thing, the blue man group. And they originated in Chicago. And so in Chicago, for a long time, in the eight, late 80s and 90s, every Halloween you would see people spray their bodies completely blue and go to naked parties, you know. So and I always would say, oh my God, that looks just like the first layer of the aura. So it has this kind of blue metallic reflective energy that hugs. And it's very, very metal.
SPEAKER_02And it's and for people, when they start to see energy around the body, it's usually the first thing they see, that little glow all around the body, kind of much the same as seeing the heat come off the asphalt on a hot day.
SPEAKER_01You see it in a lot of deity, Renaissance deity paintings. You see the Wei Chi and emulating off the body. But it's my understanding now that the Wei Chi there is to act as an insulator for all the dangling participles.
SPEAKER_02So lung has a finger in all these merges.
SPEAKER_01Well, lung has to have a finger in all these because he has to ox and j and everything. So lung has a finger.
SPEAKER_02So a thumb.
SPEAKER_01Or a thumb.
SPEAKER_02Lung has its thumb in everything.
SPEAKER_01Circus sex has the finger. Yeah. So so this waiqi will protect because there are a lot of entry and exit points that don't actually exit the last point on the meridian or the first point in the meridian. So I think the wei chi acts like that, but they they stay, when that happens though, they belong to different systems. So lung, those points eight, eight, uh, nine, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Bong to the laterals. And specifically within the lateral system, the low later the low lateral system is the lymph. The lymph is part of the low lateral system. So those points on your thumb are master points for cleaning lymph. Which makes sense since the biggest driver of the lymph in the body is the diaphragm. The diaphragm moves your lymph in your organs. Yeah. So so we move, so we jump up and down, we move our arms and legs, and we talk and all that kind of stuff. That moves the lymphs in our body, but to move the lymph in the organ, that's what needs to be a really strong muscle diaphragm. So the lung meridian has devoted four of its points to getting the toxins out of the inner organs for those last points. So rubbing eight, nine, ten, and eleven every day off the end of your thumb is a pretty good idea for keeping your lymph clean. But it's the interior lymph of the body that gets moved there. So the wisdom, you know, whenever I have a question, I'm thinking, oh, that's a freak out thing. You know, there there is, you know, there is wisdom there. Yeah. So it's really curious to me why women would have a dangling participle of HP1 or CirqueS1, why that would be a dangling participle on us. And why would men not go all the way to The end of the meridian. So they leave at eight. So they're going to get out one through eight. And we get out to what she's talking about, the palace of toil. Oh man, I we should not bash men. We really we should know. Oh bet it's so much fun. So no, we should not bash men. Okay, so we've said that. We've we have we have we covered our ass enough to say okay. Say it one more time. Yeah. We should not bash men. All right, that should be a CYA enough. Um but heart and then I'm gonna bash them. So circ sex eight, heart protector eight in the center of the hand, it's just cracks me up. It's actually called, in some circles, it's called the stigmata point because it's believed it's named many of its many of its names, but one of its names is they believed this was the cross point where Christ was nailed to the cross was in was in uh cirque sex eight. So maybe that maybe that's why they leave it. Maybe. So anyway, so but it's called Palace. The point is called Palace of Toil. And the the practical reason is called Palace of Toil, other than all the spiritual reasons, but the practical reasons was when they kind of named these points, Chinese medicine was in an agrarian society. They were farmers. And so their their hands had tons and tons of calluses, which made it very, very difficult. Huh. Very difficult to pierce. That point.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Huh. That's interesting to me too. Yeah. They would that men would exit F8 and it's so hard.
SPEAKER_02Like women aren't doing hard work in an agrarian society.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but but but let's think, but but what you know, why would the body do that? I don't quite know. So I don't know what the purpose is for men between eight and nine. Yeah. Other than this. I'm doing the mudra again. Um because it is just mudra. The bird mudra. The finger. The finger. And then we would get the whole finger. So I don't know what uh so I'm very, very curious why we have that dangling participle in men and not women there. So it's I'm curious. But wai chi is supposed to protect. I mean, we chi is supposed to do this. And what was really interesting is when we tested you on this, your wei chi was bad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So long one was bad. It was Lungwan was was fine until we used the context of pericardium. When we activated the entry and exit points, that's when it fell off.
SPEAKER_01It fell off. So you're not getting protected. And I wonder if you're not getting protected in your other dangling participles or if it's just this one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, we didn't check.
SPEAKER_01So it that's curious to me. So the entry and exit points are where the biggest moment of yang has to be. And the Wei Chi is the biggest yang in the body. So because it's managed to leave the body and hang outside, that takes a lot of yang to do, to hold outside of the container.
SPEAKER_02It's expanding beyond the container.
SPEAKER_01So the I so just the word that it expands beyond the container is a yang action. Yeah. So wei chi is big yang energy. So, in order to turn, I mean, when I'm thinking about heart nine, which is at the tip of my baby finger, right at the base of the nail, and small intestine one is on the other side of the tip of my baby finger, at the other side of the base of my baby nail, that takes Herculean energy to move over that tiny little hill of qi because there's no meridian to guide it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So there's no tube, there's no knotty, there's no straw that's just out there in those little bitty places. So when we talk about lung eight and nine, uh how the long, the four points that lung leaves out there, there's no tube, there's no knotty, there's no, it's very, very, very, very strange flow because strange flow doesn't have anchors. And so all that energy is still is polarized, but it is not in a tube. Uh it is doesn't have its saran wrap.
SPEAKER_02It's floating, floating in the emptiness.
SPEAKER_01So what contains it is the whey chi. And if your waichi is bad and your energy leaves your pericardium, it just flies off your finger and doesn't go back into small intestine, which means it would make bad choices.
SPEAKER_02I wonder why it just flies off my middle finger, she said while she's holding it up.
SPEAKER_01So that that energy, that energy is not contained, it's directed. So it's a suggestion. And when you think about those entry and exit points, and I'm looking at my baby finger again, but because it's such a tiny little spot to do, but what's happening is, especially in this particular relationship, this is heart energy, yin energy, which is coming down from the heavens, and it has to make a hairpin turn to go back up. That's a lot of energy too. So it's going up and it has to come back down. It has to come back down. Yeah. So it's making a hairpin turn. The dyslexic is trying to explain right and left. Never a good idea. Or up and down. Or up and down. But that is so much energy. It is so much qi to make those turns. So so it has to be coaxed. It has to be, it has to yearn to go into smaller.
SPEAKER_02It needs an escort.
SPEAKER_01It needs an escort. So or bodyguard, or you know, and that would be the way chi.
SPEAKER_02That's the problem. I don't have a bodyguard.
SPEAKER_01Well, and that and that they call those in Chinese music.
SPEAKER_02I guess I need an escort. They call the escort service.
SPEAKER_01Let's not go down that path. You'd probably be in better shape if you had.
SPEAKER_02You're probably right.
SPEAKER_01You probably have more money.
SPEAKER_02Probably have more money, and my blood pressure would be lower.
SPEAKER_01Your blood pressure would be lower.
SPEAKER_02Actually, it's pretty good right now. It's been good for since I taught that class last month.
SPEAKER_01Blood pressure. Oh, good, oh good. So you did your you listened to yourself.
SPEAKER_02I did.
SPEAKER_01Isn't that funny?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's like it's always surprising to me. Like, I remember. It's like, what's off? Let's write a class about it. You want you want to see, you want to see my mental health history. You just look at the list of classes I have written. And you will wonder why I've written 87.
SPEAKER_00And we've all benefited.
SPEAKER_01That's right. We have. Necessity is the mother invention. Exactly. Exactly. So, yeah, so every every single class I've ever written is totally narcissistic in its motivation.
SPEAKER_00In our next episode, Sarah and Deborah give us a protocol we can all use. Thanks for listening to Put a Quarter in It, presented by Energy Medicine University and produced by Hip Chicks Create.
