April is all systems go. It's a month full of passion and new beginnings, and the world is gonna light up too, and I'm here to help you through it. Welcome to Get Psyched with Carrie Samuels, where you'll find inspiration to create a magical life. Here you'll experience all things divine, so tune in and let the magic begin. There's so much happening right now. 2026, as you know, is a year that is all about changes and everything, just really. Being very intense and it's a one universal year of new beginnings and all the planets are in new signs. And this month our sun is in Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac, and we have seven planets in Aries. That is a lot of fire. Now I wanna remind you about something 2026. Part of the reason things are so dramatic right now. In addition to every single planet in our zodiac going into new signs and all of that newness, we are having an elemental shift in the planets. Planets are moving from primarily earth and water, which are yin into fire and air. And that's one of the many reasons things are so combustible and there's so much hot headedness and aggression. So you can imagine with seven planets in this sign ruled by Mars, the god of war, that things are going to be very intense. But I wanna talk about more of the Aries archetype. Because Aries is so many things. Aries is spring. It's life. It's new growth. It's the pioneering, adventurous spirit. It's courage. It's having the courage to believe in yourself and believe in your dreams. So there's so much happening in the world, and yet there's a lot happening in your personal life. A lot is being called within you to create. New adventures and experiences and new archetypes ready to be expressed and emerge and birthed into the world. And so it's an exciting time for you personally, and it's a little too exciting and maybe not the best ways in the world. So we're gonna talk about both of them. Let's talk about some of the reasons that there is so much newness now and why it's so. Incredible and interesting that we have this incredible lineup of Aries first sign of the Zodiac planets. In this one universal year after we had so much letting go and destruction as well. Last year, 2025 was a nine universal year, and the planets were in the last degrees of their sign. They went into these new signs briefly and then retrograded. Back into their old signs, and this year is when they're moving one by one into their e evolution for the many years that they're gonna be in each of the new signs. So it's a lot at once and very dramatic. Now, February, if you remember. And it feels like 10,000 years ago, honestly. And of course we had that conjunction that hasn't happened in several thousand years where. Saturn, the planet of structure and boundaries and the foundations of our life was conjunct Neptune, the planet of dreams that also dissolves boundaries. Conjunct at zero degrees Aries, the birth of the Zodiac. So what's happening is things are being destroyed, dissolved. Everything that you and I have known as stable foundations, things end. Regimes and structures that seem too big to fail are just collapsing. And that once in every several thousand years kind of transition. It's not about like, okay, that just happened in February. That's like birth of a new civilization kind of energy and we feel it now. I mean things right now it's, this is not like what we've known as reality. Everything is just being. Torn apart and things are just disappearing and collapsing faster than it feels like we can keep up with. So what is this Aries energy about? That is the new life and the new birth coming up. After all of this dissolution, this destruction, this is creation. This is New Life and what's amazing about this month, in addition to all of these planets in the sign of new growth, new life, start of the zodiac wheel, start of everything, pioneering spirit adventurousness with all of those planets in Aries 2026. April is a five universal month in numerology. By the way, I know I'm gonna get questions. How did you get that? We add four from April to the fourth month to the one universal year, and four plus one is five. Five in numerology is all about new experiences, breaking up old routines, going past boundaries, going past your comfort zone, really shaking things up in a very dramatic way. And really trying new things. The letters, N E and W in numerology, I should call it NEWMEROLOGY in numerology, reduced to the number five. And that is what this is. After all that destruction, after all of what is feeling like the end of everything, we have the opportunity to build something new based on passion. Based on purpose, and based on this Pluto and Aquarius ideal, which is all about equality, diversity. Individuality, but individuality that benefits the collective because Aquarius is known as the sign of the humanitarian through vision, through tearing down structures that don't work anymore, and creating a new vision that benefits the greater good. And that is done through everybody being unique and the acceptance. Of everyone being unique and different. And so of course there's tension in the world because the people that don't want us to be different, there's a lot of like, we're all fighting for our right to express ourselves in our way. And so there is a lot of revolutionary energy, Pluto in Aquarius. It's a 20 year journey came with the Industrial Revolution, the American Revolution, the French Revolution. Aquarius is a revolutionary sign and Pluto unearths things in a very dramatic way and transforms in a very dramatic way. We have another planet changing signs this month, and it's going to be in. A new sign for several years, seven to nine years, the planet Uranus changes signs. Okay? And Uranus is the planet that pushes boundaries that goes beyond boundaries. Uranus is actually the ruler of Aquarius, the modern ruler, because Saturn is the planet that the ancients were able to see with their naked eye. As the boundary of our solar system, Saturn is the planet of boundaries. And then we were able to see Uranus. And Uranus is the planet that goes beyond the boundaries that we thought were possible. And that's one of the main reasons it is Aquarius's. Co ruler, modern Ruler. So everything right now is about how can we push the boundaries past what we thought was possible. So it's a very exciting time, even though it's a scary time. This is the time for new leaders to emerge. This is a time for you to be a leader, whatever that means for you to be the leader in your life. Perhaps one of the many things that you let go of last year was this idea of how you thought you should be to please other people. Okay. Goodbye. You don't need that anymore. That's so 2025. 2026 is energy is like, who do I wanna be and how do I make this good for me? And when I do things that make my heart sing. And express myself with courage that benefits the greater good. This is the age of Aquarius. I told you we were building a new civilization. The age of Aquarius is about that. Your beautiful divine spark of uniqueness, how you light up the world personally. And how you use your gifts, your light, your expression, your essence to make the world a better place. Aquarius and the Tarot is the star and like stars. We are all lighting up with our own lights to make something brilliant together through your unique individual self. That is Aries energy connecting with the aquarium Utopian. Vision of a beautiful world. And so through this not beautiful time, perhaps, right? You are building something. We're all building something more beautiful. And it's important to hold on to your passion. It's important to hold on to your unique vision, and Aries is the sign that helps you stand up for yourself. And what you know is right, and I wanna talk about something that Aries brings up and it is connected to boundaries. Aries is associated with anger and there are a lot of things that are making you angry now, I would imagine, because there's a lot to be angry about. And anger comes when other people's boundaries or humanity or safety has been violated. When your boundaries have been intruded upon, you feel personal anger when your loved ones are harmed or their boundaries are intruded upon in some ways, that is healthy anger. And that anger is meant to be a motivator to make you change your life, to stand up for what you believe in to help change the world. Anger is not something that is unspiritual or meant to be suppressed or repressed. Anger, healthy use of anger is going to be what motivates you to make a change and to make a difference. And so there is gonna be a lot of anger. Now let's talk a little bit about what this Aries energy and wartime energy means for us. Okay. Because Uranus is changing signs and moving into Gemini. Uranus has been in Taurus. And Taurus is the most grounded, stable sign of the Zodiac. Its element is fixed Earth. Urnaus has shakes, things up. Taurus is also associated with money, the planet itself, food resources, real estate. Uranus has been shaking things up. It's shaking up like money itself because Uranus is associated with. Electricity and technology. So of course, as soon as Uranus went into Taurus, we've had cryptocurrency, and Uranus is the disruptor. And boy, have we heard the word disrupting the industry. So Uranus is disrupting and it's going to continue to disrupt. But what it's changing into is Gemini, the sign of transportation and communication. And when Uranus changes signs, it's a dramatic planet by nature, and it's going to change signs on the 25th. And the time around that is very dramatic because before it goes into zero degrees of Gemini, it has to pass through the final karmic degrees of Taurus and. Money, resources, food, a lot of shakeups around that, and it's going to be an unstable time for the markets. We may have earthquakes, physical earthquakes, or tsunamis, which tend to happen when Uranus has changed signs, especially in the planet of Earth itself. But everything about our stability. It is shaking things up. It's saying like, Hey, have you learned these lessons that I came to help you see, like, what's going on underneath this all? So this whole month, up until Urnaus changes signs is going to bring some shakeups in there. The financial market and all those Tian things, stability itself. And then it moves into Gemini. Now Uranus has an 84 year revolution, and so it hasn't been in Gemini for 84 years. Uranus in Gemini will bring radical transformation in the realm of communication and transportation. Of course, flying cars, self-driving cars, ai, and because it's moving into an air sign. Air fuels fire, but also Aquarius is an air sign, so it's going to really give energy to Pluto in Aquarius, which is that revolutionary technology. So everything is going to speed up and accelerate around how we communicate and how we transport each other and everything associated with that. Now, historically. Uranus in Gemini has also correlated with an acceleration in World War ii, subsequent propaganda. And Gemini is like that sign of duplicity and duality in its shadow element. So it's like, wow, it's gonna be a lot of deep fakes, a lot of propaganda. Everything's gonna speed up in terms of that. It will bring a lot of great advances in technology, medicine, I would imagine as well. And yeah, in addition to the World War ii, the Civil War, and also the United States is having its Uranus return, so that really shakes things up even more. April is a month that's very lit up astrologically, and it's going to. Trigger some events that we're going to see manifest even more July and August. And this month you can only imagine how. The heads of states and leaders can be a little more hotheaded than normal, so this doesn't feel like a time where things are going to subside. It is a time of escalation, a time of not thinking things through. There's a lot of hot headedness, so it does seem like the wars are going to escalate as they've done historically with Uranus in Gemini. And I mean, we just have so much Aries and Mars right now, including Mars in Aries on the ninth. Personally, it's really important to understand that other people are going to be impulsive and hotheaded now, so it's important for you, again to channel your anger in positive ways, not to react with people, and certainly be mindful when you're driving or in any situation, Aries rolls the head, so be careful of like what you're doing and. Remember that other people are going to be more hotheaded now, and you may feel more hotheaded now and more impulsive. So yes, listen to that adventurous, pioneering spirit, but really be mindful. Really be mindful before you react with anger or any emotion to understand. What you're feeling and to get to a place of center before you react in a certain way, relationships are actually going to be highlighted because this is a time where you are learning to stand up for yourself and believe in yourself right at the very top of the month. April 1st is a full moon in Libra. And that's when the sun and the moon are opposing each other. And that's when how you externalize your feelings and how you move about the world and shine and your inner world or sometimes in a polarity. And the sun will be in Aries and the moon will be in Libra. So there'll be that polarity about. Your needs versus other people's needs. So there'll be that tug of war that will be illuminated right at the top of the month, which also says that this is a month where everything emotions are amplified as well. Starting out with that signature full moon right at the top of the month, our new Moon in Aries on the 17th has. A square to Pluto and a conjunction with Chiron, the wounded healer. So this may bring up your wounds and your feelings around believing in yourself and how to stand up for yourself and knowing your worth. So a lot of those themes are going to be. Running through the month as well. So personally, keep that in mind and keep that in your heart that these are the lessons that you're meant to learn now, all that Aries energies to help you believe in yourself. So with that said, here are the action steps for April. Your first action step is to believe in yourself. So what does that mean? It means that even though. You may have obstacles as you pursue your passions. Even though you may have felt uncomfortable about things in the past, now is the time to really know that you're meant for new things, new adventures, and you wouldn't be given a desire if you did not have the tools and the spiritual resources. To pursue that desire and to make it a reality. So know that even when things feel hard, especially when things feel hard, because the Aries energy is testing your strength, and as you're going for new dreams, all of your fears are going to come up and they're going to. Maybe make you doubt yourself. So keep in mind you are that sprout pushing through the earth, even though a dark underneath the earth and you don't know what's gonna happen. Keep believing yourself, pushing through, and you will find the light, which brings us to action, step number two, to go for what you want. Your desires are there for a reason. You may have been used to not getting what you want. Again, this is goes back to believing in yourself. You may think that, oh, I've never been able to do this before, so why should it be different now? Because everything is different now. Everything. This is a time to build something new and build new dreams, so go for what you desire. We have absolutely no planets retrograde. Now everything is full speed ahead. All systems go. It is an unobstructed pathway for you. So even if something hasn't worked out before, now is the time when things can change. Now is the time when your life can change for the better because you are believing in yourself and you're taking action upon what you really want, not what you thought was only possible for you and you can never achieve before. Really go for what you desire rather than what you think is possible. Let your imagination soar and go for your dreams. Now, while you're doing that, this brings us to action, step number three, which is to stay centered and grounded. There is a lot of woo hot headedness, right? Aries energies headfirst. Do first, think later, however, because of that, you need to balance your energy. Stay calm, stay centered, practice grounding, practice centering.
