Then you’re in the right place — welcome to Orlando Accomplice. 💚

Hello, you glorious people, and welcome to Orlando Accomplice. I'm Becca and I'm Jake. And today we are celebrating 2,000 Instagram followers with a QA podcast. But by the time that we've this has gone out, we'll have nearly got 2,500. Yeah. So I mean, thank you. Thank you so much, everyone, for all the support, especially everyone on Instagram. Because yeah, it's popping off. And it means a lot, so thank you very much. We really enjoy doing this. So it's nice that to have the support along with the creative freedom that we have. Yeah. So I'm pretty sure we'll answer some of them, some of the questions I'm this show about the podcast and how we've come about and stuff. So yeah, a lot of your questions hopefully should have been answered today. So before we start, we always do a disclaimer. So if you're new here, hello. We sometimes swear, uh, we talk about things that you might not want your kids listening to, and that's right. And all opinions are our own. So don't get offended. Or get offended and let us know. Yeah. Um just don't go super overboard and start saying that. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, ma'am. That reel that I made about the Disney people, I think people are lying about in Disney, that stirred up some discussions. Yeah, it did, yeah. Ruffled some feathers. Yeah, yeah. But hey, I pff did not know, like I knew people liked Small World, but I expected like the corndog nuggets to be the thing that you know pissed people off. But it was Small World. Yeah, I can't believe how many people were back in Small World. But it wasn't even like, oh, it was childhood nostalgia, I really like it. Like people were saying that, but there was a couple of comments that were like, You don't understand Disney. Yeah, it was savage. I'm like, whoa, chill, you have too much free time, ma'am. Yeah, there was one person who started commenting and then he went through like four of his posts. Okay. Thanks for the algorithm assistance. Chip blood. Um, yeah, so before we kick off, we are on both audio and video platforms. So if you're on audio platforms, we are filming and we are on YouTube. If you want to come say hello there. Um, we and vice versa, if you're on listening or watching on YouTube, then we are also on audio-only platforms if you want to say tickers with you or you don't have YouTube premium or anything like that. Um and we always start our podcast with a beverage. And today we have So um from last episode, Jake tried this little Lil Tropic um Volts Air. Yeah. Yeah. So we really liked it. Well, I really liked it, and then Becky said, Oh, can I try some? Because I'm not a beer drinker, I know I've said this before, but for those of you who are new here, hello, hi. Um I to I'm a cocktail gal, um, rum, whatever. But I don't really drink beers. The only beers I drink are like a desperado or a corona. And I tried that and I really liked it. So um Drinker I'd suggested I try some sours, so I'm doing this for you too. And yeah, so we're new to the sour beer game, but it didn't realise it was a thing. So what have you picked up? So just to be different, like I do like the Lil Tropics one. That one's like if Lil was a beer. Yeah, yeah. More pineapple than grapefruit air. Um so today I've got a uh Cherry Cola float. It sounds almost disgusting that it's a beer. I think it's gonna taste like a Disserano Sours. And I like a Dissorano sour, but the fact that it's beer is tipping me a little bit. So if I don't like it, this is my backup beer. So we've got a backup beer in like so I'm gonna give this to Becky if she does if she doesn't like that. Right, bye. Let me just get the satisfying I love this sound. And shout out to everyone who understood what claggy meant as well. Oh my lord, smell that it does smell like Mirashino cherries. What's Mirashino cherry? The cherry that goes in a disarranous. Why is it so different? It's like candid. Well, it's the bright red cherry. I think this is common knowledge. Okay. Don't like it. No, I don't like that. Oh, no way. That's like artificial cherry flavour. Yeah, that is That is grim. That's not nice. I think it would be alright. It it tas you can taste where they're going with the float. Yeah, yeah, they tried to go cream soder. And I think if they didn't do that, I think it would have been better. It would have almost tasted like koola. Let me try again. Uh sour laces kind of thing. It's the cream. Yeah, it's the cream that's ruining it. It's ruining it. Yeah, nah. Yeah. No. Sorry. We're gonna have to have a Stella then, aren't I? I'll stick with water if you want that. You can have my Stella if you want. No. Where's the okay? So, yeah, let's kick off things. So, um Thank you for everyone who's submitted questions, by the way. Yes, thank you very much. We've got 78 of them, so we're gonna try and fly through them. Yeah, we'll try and not go on tangents. We have a vessel to help us with our questions today. So, for those of you that are listening and not watching, I'm holding a popcorn bucket from Walt Disney World, which is Vampire Teddy from Nightmare Before Christmas, and he houses in his mouth all of our questions. That is such a better vessel than what we had last time. Last time we just shoved them inside Ouggy Booger. So, yeah, this is where our questions are. This is the only popcorn bucket I've ever like actually got in line for to get. And we waited like an hour and a half for it. Yeah, and I'm so glad I got it. He sits on the shelf usually, he's so cool. Love it. He's a good good question holder. Yeah, would you like to do the honours? Okay, let's go first. Stick your hand in these. This this is so much better. I can't believe how good it is. Right, first question. Most stressful ride queue in Orlando. I know what mine is. Three, two, one, green dots. Oh, we're gonna say Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway. Yeah. I agree with yours because mine technically isn't a queue, it's the lockers situation. So we'll go with Jake's point. Yeah. It just feels like super closed in. Yeah, and the last time we went and got in line for it, uh, we stood in line for five minutes and it was that chaotic that we I was like, this is overstimulating, I need to get out of here. Yeah. And the carpet man, why have carpet inside? No. I think that makes it worse because it makes it feel more like cognition. I mean it's meant to be a theatre in it, that's what well yeah, I get that. But yeah, that it was just like it was snaking, but every there was like it wasn't in an a line, it was like in chunks of people. I can't describe it. I oh it were right early as well, wasn't it? Yeah, well, people wrote drop that. Yeah. Alright, next question. Favourite slash funniest memory of all time in Orlando. Funniest slash what? Favourite or funniest. Let's go funniest because I think that's I think that's harder. Yeah. Funniest memory. Uh that is hard. Have you got one? A funny memory. Yeah. That when we uh Tin Roof kindly hosted us. Yeah. Um and we were saying closing off the vlog at the end, and we were saying thank you, and that police officer came over and he's like What's going on here, boss man? You putting a bomb on that? Yeah, so there's like a fire hydrant thing. Yeah, and we'd stuck the DJI to it, and he came over and asked us if we were like tampering with the the the thing. That sick that was funny. Yeah. Um I feel like because this is like we've not read these questions. Like, I tried to cut them out while like not really look into them. I was watching Morgan's QA. Yeah. Shout out Morgan Rain. Um, well, I was cutting these out so I wasn't really paying attention. I think I'm thinking the funniest, well, one of the funniest was when I was outside strapping my strapping my feet up. Yes, that was what I was gonna say. And some guy went to me, oh your dogs hearing you, man. And that was the first time I've ever heard feet associated with dogs. Yeah. But then also Cassie's also said it before. Yeah. She said, Get your dogs out. Yeah. You trotters, we call them trotters. Yeah, yeah, but that that bit wasn't actually the funny thing, it was the amount of like talcum powder, bandages, plasters, blister plasters that Jake packed on his foot. Like it w it grim. And then as a repercussion of that, well, because his feet got wet is why you got blisters, I think, right afterwards. But his shoes stunk out the entire hotel room that we walked back in it the next day while his shoes were like in there drying, and I was like, These poor cleaners have been in here and just been absolutely gassed out by your feet. And just a caveat, my feet never smell like vinegar. No, they don't usually. So it's just when I'm in Florida. It smelled like vinegar. Yeah, they didn't smell vinegar. Sorry. Take a question kind of like grouped together these. I know, I tried to fold them. For fuck his sake, and they're slippy. But it's paper. Read. This doesn't make sense. What would you call the place? What would you someone bad type in? Sorry, whoever said that, we don't know what you mean. Alright, this one's a good one. Okay. So one park, one ride, one snack, one drink stays forever. The rest get binned. Okay, right. Do your park first. Um and it can be universal slash Disney. So every everything. Or mixed. Right. We'll mix it, so like ev we'll put like two to the two parks together together. Right. Park st that stays is Islands. The ride. Oh, we're doing it that way. Yeah, is Cosmic Rerind. The snack everything goes. Yeah. You've just basically said Guardians is your number one. Yep. Er my snack is That's hard. That is hard. That is hard. I'm gonna go with Tots, I think. Whoa. And uh and one drink. The stellar from my Avenger. Are you joking me? That is Jamie's Bud Light. This is staying there, right? So my park, Islands of Adventure. Yeah. My ride, Monsters Unchained. My snack. I'm like my mind's going blank because I'm under pressure. What are my favourite snacks? You don't know, you're with me every day. Yeah no. Disney pickle. I like a pickle, but you can get a pickle from Walmart. Like, I'm not gonna if I can't get them in the parks, I'll just go to the shop. True, true. Hmm. Maybe the cookie from that side. It's pretzel bread pudding. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. And then my drink. Do you know what it has to be? That frozen margarita from Celestica. Specifically swelled with mango. Yeah. Everything else goes in the bin. Nice. Is it your cookie? Yes, it is. Ow, bit my finger. Right. One thing you wish you knew before starting Orlando Accomplice. Er one thing I think we wish we knew. Yeah. Um, that's a hard one. Yeah. Um sorry, there's gonna be a lot of long pause. Yeah, there will be some ums, and I'll try and like be quick. I'll try and fill fill the air. Tumbleweed. Yeah. One thing I f I know. Um how okay. So the one thing I mean we've been pretty good at this, but I feel like this might be something that might people start yeah, starting might struggle with this. But we've been pretty good at last. Alright, not to blow your own fucking pressure. Sorry, I just you'll see what I mean. And that is comparing yours yourself to others. Mm-hmm. So just to not do it. Um It's easier said than done. Because what we've learned over this the time of doing this, and even like before, when I've I've come from the music industry, and it's very similar there, is that sometimes people do just blow just by being right place, right time. And it's hard sometimes to be like, well, this person's got big, quote unquote, or this person's getting more views or whatever than I am, and my content is just as good kind of thing, or if not better. So if you just kind of yeah, just don't compare yourself to others. And I do say this to most people who are like struggling with this if they've been posting on say social media and saying, I'm struggling with my views, blah blah blah. And it's just to enjoy the journey, enjoy learning, enjoy trying new things, enjoy, like I say, mastering the craft almost. There's a lot of things to learn with content creation, and we still don't know half of it or even but we're still learning three quarters of it, like and like we spend a lot of time learning, and I think that's the thing, yeah, to stay curious basically. I think no, I think you nailed that one. Yeah. Yeah. Took the words out of my mouth when you got there eventually. Yeah. Maybe that's what I should have learnt. Wish I learned how to talk properly. Still not got there. No, you're still you're getting better talking to the camera. I feel like I'm like sat here with my arms around it. Um Dream Collab. Dream Collab, yeah. So what do we mean by collab? Like a brand or a you know, I don't know. So for me, I would love to make some content for HHN. Yeah, like to go there, I don't know, there's like press and have that freedom to create the content because you can't film in the houses. Yeah, yeah. Um, you know, just to dedicate and put time and effort into that kind of content like that, it'd be so cool. To have to work with Universal in general would be amazing. Um, I think my collab, I'll go a different way since you went like more house-wise. Uh not house-wise, like theme park-wise. So I'll go more like brand wise. And I think doing something with say like if a clothing brand, like say, let's say, let's say Palace. Palace would be cool. But what could Orlando accomplish do with Palace? Well, that's the beauty of it. You could do anything, you could put I mean like that's that's the beauty of like if it's like streetwear brands, people like Palace and Supreme, especially, who are like now so big that there's a reason that they can slap Supreme on a brick and people buy it. Literally a liar. And it's like that is the goal of just like being like, I'll I can do whatever I want. Like they've made that boxing ring. Yeah, made that coffin. Coffins, and it's just they were selling coffins and it actually sold out, like somebody bought, but they sold it for like a grand an art. Coffins aren't that price anyway, and they've slapped a Supreme logo on it. So it's like just to have like be able to just do whatever you want and it's just gonna sell. Um that like that's the goal. So yeah, doing something with Palace would be cool. Not want to work with Sony or yeah, because I get other cameras for free. But uh, yeah, I'm going Palace. Okay. That's my my my uh answer. Ah, just you know, little old me wants to work with HHN. Maybe we could do something together that could be the collagen Palace, HHN, all under accomplice. Was that was that me? Yeah, that was me. Okay. Which ride is worth any wait time? Guardians. I feel like this is uh my answer for quite a lot of these is gonna be guardians. Uh yeah, I I'd wait a decent amount of time for guardians, but it's inside. It's inside. That was my thought process, yeah. But I do wish when you've been an avid goer that there is an option to skip the pre-show. Because there's only so many times that it can you can hear what do they call themselves, and it some people just go, Diz dead or piss head. Sometimes people come out with some funny ones, but now I've not heard a funny one in a long time. No, I just remember it's just a man, just one the room sign and it's just a man going Disney lovers. I remember one kid just went, human being. Yeah. Because there's like almost like an awkward pause now when it when he does it, and you're just like, fuck's sake, someone's gonna say something like that. It's almost as irritating as when you go on Haunted Mansion and you can hear somebody quoting the the There's no doors. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like let people enjoy it, but stuff like that, they're not ruining for anyone. It's just like we've seen that pre-show so many times now. And I do think actually that would be a good thing because like now, like even when we went with my mum and dad. And we went through the we went through the pre-show, and it's like they were all enjoying the pre-show watching it, and then like as soon as something happens as people move, and there's like what's going on with the water. Yeah, everyone runs to that far right corner, and it's like it just ruins it for the minute, like the the first time people, yeah. Right. Er best coffee in both Universal and Disney. So I'm not a coffee drinker, so this is over two. And I feel like I'm a cop out with this question because um we typically walk to the parks with an energy drink, yeah, or I'll get a Starbucks from Adventura's lobby. Yeah. So I've had my caffeine. I'm not very sensitive with caffeine, but like if I have it past a certain point, like one, two in the afternoon, I will not sleep at all. Which is good when you're an order. And yeah, it is. However, if I have multiple cups of coffee throughout the day, like I'll start getting a bit jittery, and it's just I don't like that feeling. So I don't have too much, and an aligning new has more caffeine in than a monster, so there's a lot in there. Um so if I've had one of those, I typically won't have a coffee then. And if I do, I'm going for an iced coffee, and in Universal, I'm in the park by that point, so there is only relay the Cinnabon or Starbucks. Yeah. So I don't feel like I can give that advice. Um, same as Disney, like I've normally had an energy drink on the driveover, yeah, or the iced coffee from Starbucks. Um yeah, and I I don't like Joffrey's. I've tried it a couple of times now and I don't like it. Um so but I will say I really want to try a coffee from Cake Bake Shop, and I feel like Disney's coffees are better in the resorts, from what I've heard. And we've not stayed at a Disney resort, so um I feel like that question yeah, I can't answer it. But I do like a ice brown sugar oatshake and espresso with a shot of um cinnamon dolce syrup when you're in America, because they don't do that over here. Right here. Most overrated Disney snack, corn dog nuggets, done, closed, cheeseburger spring rolls, grease. Yeah, yeah. Uh next question. I'll do that. Do do do it's a small world or drink bud light. Drink Bud Light. Drink Bud Light. Okay. Yeah, we will try and rifle through. I'll try picking up. The ones that we can, we can. If alcoholic park drink. Favorite alcoholic park drink. Mm-hmm. Um Margarita from El De K. La Cava de Kilo. Because I've already given one from Universal, I will also caveat with La Cava and go the Malomita from uh La cava. Is that the the pineapple margarita? It is, I think, one of the most expensive ones in there. But it's so good. And I literally said the other week, I'm really craving one of those. I don't think I've ever had one myself. You haven't, because I only tried it when we weren't with our family this time. Um because I normally get the avocado one, but I didn't want something so thick. So I got the Malamita and I will never look back. Yeah. So if you're going to La Carva and you want to branch out, try that one. You. Me. Okay. Most chaotic Orlando moment you've ever had. We nearly missed his flight by the skin of his teeth. Yeah, that was mental. This last time when we came home. Yeah. TSA lines fucked us. Yeah. Like we got to the airport. We were running slightly late because Jake opened his suitcase in the car park and decided to smell all his Gideon's cookies to decide which one he wanted to put in his bag. Yes, it was. For some weird reason it got super busy around airport. Yeah, it did. So traffic was bad. Yeah. So we were running a little bit behind, but we got there, we still had like two hours. Yeah. And then there was only that one side of TSA open, and we must have been in that line for a good hour and a half. And we literally sat down and within five minutes they should get. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we well, we sat down in a seat on the plane and they went, boarding now complete. And we were like, We are we were that dickhead. We were those dickhead people that you were all getting with. Oh I I didn't want. Can you imagine? Well, Mr. and Mrs. Birdass, please come to the gate. It would have sped it up a bit. Oh my god, no, no. Uh I would have been mortified. But yeah, that like I've never felt like I was like, what do we do? Yeah. It would have been so annoying if we missed the flight. But the thing is, everybody in the line was like starting to like get irate because they were everybody's flight were getting closer and closer and closer. So people were like, I need to push in front because I'm gonna miss my flight. And we were like, Well, so are we, like, yeah. So I'm hoping when we fly into the new terminal. We have flown into the new terminal before when we flew from New York to um Orlando, and personally, I I get the carpet hype. I like to see it because it's like, yeah, we're here now, but I don't like dragging my suitcase on it. It's a pain in the arts, especially when you've got light. Give me that polished white floor. Yeah, you just push it and just let it go. Yeah, yeah. Right. What's your road drop strategy? Now, this is quite generic for where exactly, I don't know. I mean, most of them are the same. Um, I'd always do research before see which ride is the thing that is like the best thing to road drop, I guess, and then see if you're actually ri that bothered about it. For example, if you went to Animal Kingdom, people would say, Oh, you should road drop flat passage. And if you Flat Passage. Flight Passage. It's because I'm holding a burp. They do make you really burpy these drinks. Um but then like we always say, Well, we'll rope drop Safari because it's the best time to kind of see the animals. Yeah. And that does cooler. Big wait time as well, anyway. So and then we do flatter passage at the towards the end of the day. So yeah, research if if you're that bothered about it, and if you're not, then maybe choose something else, something that you really want to do. That and also, like, if you really wanted to do say let's go to it's a small world, then that's not gonna get wait time at the start of the day. So it's not gonna get wait time at any point in the day. Well, yeah. Sometimes I've seen that like 30 minutes there. But like, yeah, so just kind of see try and figure out what the most popular rides are first. Yeah, but like just to be cover all bases, like, yeah, head to the ride that you want to do that's most important, they'll rack up the highest weight line. But make sure you've got your water. Yeah. Pack a snack. Yeah. We always have a cereal bar in his bag. Yeah. Or a protein bar that's not gonna melt. Yeah. Um, and get a drink for the for the weight when you're going in. Like we've always got the coffee or the what do you what do you drink? Oh yeah. Red bull. Yeah, but they don't drink they don't drink. They don't serve Red Bull in the park. That is my downfall. Yeah. Is that like if I've won a bit of a pick-me-up and I can't get one in the park. What do they have in the park? Monsters. No. Uh Power Aid, normally. Yeah. Um, yeah. And then also just on that, is that I always we always try to get to the gate 30 minutes before it opens. Mm-hmm. I say drink your drink, eat your snapshot. This is in the mainly adventure. But anywhere to be fair, no, we get half an hour before. Well, we're always late when it's Disney. Yeah. Then we've got to drive. Yeah. Um, and then most people will try it like queue up in a line and then just kind of stand there. Whereas like if you look for like the shortest queue or like where there's space, just go fill the space because like you you're not gonna get bollocked because like the cast members or team members tell you to go and fill in all the space. Fill all available space. So yeah, you'll and they'll start doing the two-finger thing. Yeah. Whether like move along. Yeah. Um best day of the week to go to Epic in the second half of August. That is very specific. Very specific. But we always recommend to go on a Sunday. People are gonna hate me saying this, but yeah, try going on Sunday. I don't know if it's the same now, but especially it was like this last year. Well, yeah, but that was because we went when HHN was on and Sunday's uh HHN night. Yeah, and Mickey's not so scary night as well. Yes, so oh well if you go in second half of August. You will be there when Mickey's not so scary tonight. Yeah, Mickey's on. So yeah, try go. I mean it's probably second half of August is still very close to HHN, so yeah, try go on a Sunday, whatever day. Yeah. Okay, what we got. When is l when is the London Seshley Hem happening? We do need to make a trip down to London at some point and see all you guys because yeah, we just need to, but the problem is is that we've got a 55 kilo dog that's why does his weight matter? We've just got a dog, but yeah, but I mean if he was a small dog, you could just leave him with a family member. Yeah, it's a bit more challenging. We have we can only leave Milo with certain people just because of his breed and his temperament. Like he's an angel, he's not like a savage, he's just he's a rottweiler and they've got um you know temperaments. Yeah. Yeah, so we've gotta like leave him with someone that can look after him. Which again. And they they can handle him, like if he if we just gave him to anyone, he would r pull you up straight into the road. Um, he's a good boy, he walks very well, but he pushes buttons. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it'd push it. Yeah. Um so yeah, and it's just like we spend all this money on going to Orlando. Orlando, yeah. So like it honestly, going to London sometimes is just as expensive as getting a flight to like somewhere. But yeah, we really, really we need like a northern, southern halfway meet up. Where's that? Yeah. Broom. No one wants to go to Broom. What? So you brought there's some good food. We get to go to Mellows and kids. Yeah, true. Yeah, but yeah, hopefully soon. I think we're the most likely chance of us the majority of us meeting up when we're in Orlando October. So this will stick into the dog theme. What part of Universal would be Milo's favourite? Oh. Part of Universal would be his favourite. Yeah. One of the houses at HHN. He'd go savage. I wouldn't say Marvel Island because it's so loud and chaotic. I'm gonna go Seuss Landing. Just having him on the Oh my god on the trolley. Oh, yeah, he'd love that, wouldn't he? Yeah, and it's just it's all like I know dogs see in different colours, but it's bright and like it's wide pathed. Um I'm pretty sure he would love a meet and greet with the Grinch. Yeah. And cat in the heart. Yeah. Oh, we could take him on cat in the heart. Yeah. That ride is scary, man. Thing too, that runs like this. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Do you agree? Is that what you're doing? Yeah, yeah. Most underrated ride at Universal. Underrated. Um, I'm gonna say high in the sky. High in the sky trolley. Yeah, we love it. If we want a little sit-down break and Jake wants to take some photos of the park, we'll just go and get on High in the Sky Seuss Trolley. Never drink Stella again or never ride Voss Coast again. That's a question. Never drink Stella, unfortunately. Really? I couldn't give up Voscoast. Yeah, I'd be shocked if you said it the other way around, actually. Oh, I got two. We'll put that one back. Who's more likely to cry at fireworks? Me, actually. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Why? There's something about it. They know how to get you, don't they? They do know how to get you then that isn't it, that mouse. I think it depends on your emotional state going in. Yeah. Like if you've been having a hard time and you go and it's just like I'm here now and like I can enjoy myself, then maybe I would cry. And I think it's only really kind of gets me as much if we have like if we've had like a full day there. Cause you're tired. Yeah, probably feel like emotionally, what's the word? Sensitive, maybe. Saying that though, the first time we watched Phantasmic and Moana started singing, I teared up. Yeah. But yeah, Jake's Jake's a girly pop firework lover. I am. This question, when's basement coming back? Right, sorry, but it's not, unfortunately. Do you want to explain what basement is? Basement was a like my other life, basically. When it so it was an events company, and then it became a record label, and it became a venue and a recording studio, and yeah, it was such a good time in my life. Like it took like 10 years of my life, and yeah, unfortunately we had to close it, but due to everything that I learnt there has now like helped all of this? Yeah. Yeah. So unfortunately, it's not gonna be coming back, which is is very sad, but then at the same time, yeah, I I don't think I could deal with the stress anymore. Would you not even do one more event, you know, higher revenue? I feel like the last one was just like so perfectly ending. It's almost like with this whole remember the Stranger Things Gate thing, but they were like, there's gonna be another episode, and it's like it's done, like it's yeah, they ended it the best way that it could do. And I think anything else could not not tarnish it, but it's like take away from how special that last time was kind of thing. Sorry guys, I tried. Is that a question on the floor or is that one you've already read? It's folded. Alright, I'll read this one. Okay. Oh no, we have done that. Which ride is any w worth any wait time? Alright. Uh one ride you'd protect with your life. Monsters unchained. I feel like no one would be coming for it though, to be like some people do come for it, yeah. Because there's been a lot of technical faults with it and people are like, oh, it's just a dark ride. Yeah, yeah, I guess so. Defend what would I the law behind it. I I'll shut up. I'll shut up. That's hard. Because like I say, I'd choose guardians, but no one would come for it. Come for it. Hines guys who's trolley. Maybe, yeah. I'll defend Yoshi's again like I did. Uh yeah, I don't know. I don't know, that's hard. Maybe hiccups. Maybe. Yeah. I won't say people are coming for it. I feel like people might be like d a bit disappointed by it. Expect more, but it's I was I set the bar real low on that one. Yes, we both did anyway. All-time favourite franchise from both Universal and Disney. Cover both bases, Marvel. Mm-hmm. Yeah. But if you didn't cover both bases, then you had to. But it mine's a bit difficult. From Disney, it would be technically this is Tim Burton, but Nightmare Before Christmas, obviously. Um and from Universal Ooh The Classic Monsters. Yeah. Yeah. I'd probably go as much as I'm Harry Potter out, I'd probably go Harry Potter for Universal. Yeah, I think it would. And then for Disney, if I'm not including Marvel. Like if I'm not including Marvel for both of them, I would say Frances. Monsters Inc. Yeah, you do love Monsters Inc. and he's very excited for uh the new land to open in Hollywood Studios. That ride is gonna be so cool. Right, what's this? Who plans the trips better? You we both hand we both do a job. Yeah, we do. So Jake's very good at the logistics, like flights, getting to and from the airport, park tickets. Day to day he tends to forget little details, which I'll catch. Yeah, or I'll just like end up changing the plan without telling you. Yeah, yeah. Which is fine. It's just like uh or like we'll plan it all in on notion. I'll be like, Jake, where's this bit? And he'll be like, Oh yeah, I forgot. Yeah. Yeah. He's very he hyper focuses and then he's got a scatter brain. It's there's both ends of the spectrum. It's called ADHD or drinking too much Red Bull. Uh which character slash franchise deserves a land next? Ooh. Ooh, that's tricky. In what part? Any? Any, yeah. You choose. I feel like I had one last time and I can't remember what I said now. Or I came away from the podcast and was like, why didn't I say that? I'm gonna go with the whole Pokemon room of me. Because I think one, it's gonna happen, and two, I think it's gonna be like more of a money spinner than Harry Potter is. It's actually like well, it's the biggest gross in IP that ever. Yeah. And the boom of the craze is so high now. Mm-hmm. And it'll just it'd be so good if they did it right. And I think if it is gonna take Lost Continent, they've actually got so much room, I didn't realise how much room they've actually got. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because the Sinbad shown back there's like you don't really go there to see it. There's so much space back there. And then um Mythos, like closing that down, are they gonna demolish it completely if they do this? I thought they said they're closing it and then they're gonna But then re-theming it could be like I said, destroying it. Well, you'd have to do something with the exterior, depending on what it is. I honestly don't know. I feel like I had something last time and I can't think of it. If I come back, if it comes to my mind, I will pick it up rather than us sitting here tumbleweed like Jake's done for every other question. Excuse me. Oh, I answered that's your question. What's your biggest epic universe hot take? Um biggest hot take is probably that what's our biggest hot take? I was gonna say maybe Harry Potter is the worst portal, but it's I don't think it is. But I think it is probably overhyped. Yeah. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Only at the minute because there's one ride. Yeah, yeah. I would say sorry, just to caveat that. Yeah. But at the same time, if it wasn't such so hyped, then the rest of the park would be super, super busy. I mean the rest of the park isn't busy anymore. Um Super Nintendo World is just a life-size colouring book. Um and it's very overstimulating, which I know is not a hot take because it is, but like if one portal was going, it'd be that one for me. Okay. Yeah. No, you wouldn't. Yeah. Okay. If you could only go to one park for the rest of your life, which one would you choose? I think if it probably has to be Islands. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, islands. Islands are at cot. Yeah. Yeah, I get that. Yeah. Yeah. Islands. What's your go-to park drink order? Stella. I think we've yeah, it's a Stella, and I think if it's a coffee, it's the uh ice brown sugar out shake and espresso. If it's alcohol, it's a margarita in any way, shape, or form. Oh, you like an espresso martina? I do like an espresso martina. That would be, you know, like if we were staying out later or like, you know, we'd been out on the drink already. Yeah. Um oh you, sorry. Uh but yeah, a margarita, however it comes. Right. Um one thing that Universal should copy from Disney. This is a good question. The lightning lane lane style app kind of selection for specific rides. So because they're struggling to manage um haggrids still to the point where they've had to take it off express pass again. Yeah, I think there should be some sort of like you book your pre-bookie time kind of thing, like Lightning Lane, for those really, really, really high-ticket rides. I don't think they should start slapping it on everything. I think probably the app itself, I feel like Disney's apps are. Universals apps, yeah, yeah, yeah. And also I'd probably say like how good Disney Springs is compared to City. Yeah, there needs to be more variety and more shopping that's not just universal shops. Yeah, yeah. I guess it's this the space, but I'm more thinking like how good the restaurants are. Yeah, they're banging. They are. Springs. Which park area feels the most immersive? I think probably Super Nintendo World, even though it is only because you're drowned in it. That's what I mean. And that's why it's so immersive, because it's just chaos. But like I think I made a point of one of my photos the weeks that the you can't see outside of the portal. Yeah. And I don't think you can or in Wizarding World either. You can't in dark. The only one you can see out of is Burke, really. But yeah, I think Super Nintendo world. And I think because of the split level. Yeah. I would go Burke purely because of just the detail in that. Yeah. Um, the roaming characters, um, and just the the this the score, it just really drags you into it, and like the music around it is just on point. Yeah. Um, however, Dark Universe at night does top it. Yeah, I get yeah, I can I can agree with that. Um the smoke like coming out of the the well, if the characters are roaming, like the violinists, they tell stories, if Igor's roaming about, the bride of Frankenstein, uh the invisible man, like they're all out, and then when the cast the castle, oh my god, the uh the manor does its ting. Yeah, yeah. That's cool, innit? Mm-hmm. Uh see y'all go maga. I don't know. Sorry if We've ruined it. One thing Orlando does better than the UK. Theme parts. Everything. Weather. Yeah. Food. Yeah, food. Yeah, I agree. Uh what else? What else do they do better than UK? Other than the stuff you've mentioned. I think I'd say that really well. There's probably more things we understand. And people, I think. The people. Yeah. Like Americans have such more a like positive outlook on life. Like us Brits can get a bit more pair. Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah. Like if you tell your friends. Positivity there. Yeah. If you tell someone like you're starting some like something adventurous, like a new business, um, people over here are more likely to be like, oh right, good luck. But over there, it's like, oh my god, that's such a good idea. Congratulations. Hope it goes really well for you. I don't feel like you get that as much here. No. Um, your dream H H N House IP. Ooh. I would love either a Freddy Krueger or a Scream House. Nice. Yeah. Or ow, my shoulder clicked, I got that ghast. This one would slap 13 ghosts. It's just this big glass house and all these ghosts are trapped in these rooms. But you there's only certain ways of seeing them. I've not seen the film since I was maybe like 14, but it's like one of my favourites, loved it. And there's always a rumour that they're creating a series, but I never see it happening. Um that as a house would be sick. I don't know how they'd do it with all the glass. I suppose it'd just have to be like clear acrylic walls, but like that would be sick. Hmm. Dream IP. See, I'm not a horror person. So but I think like a classic universals like Monster House, but make it fucking shit scary. But then at the same time, I'd I'd like to see what they because obviously they've like they did Fallout last year and it's not like a scary fit thing. A series slash game. So I'd be interested to see what they did with like Lore of the Rings, and they could make it fucking scary as well. How would they make that scary? I've never seen it so because you could be like in with all the orcs or something, you could be I don't know what they are. Yeah. And then it's not getting through to you. People of the internet. I'll just sit there. You could be in with all the orcs, right? Or you could be like could be like Frodo trying to get look at Becky. I don't know what's saying this. You could be like fighting the Balrog or something, yeah. What's gusts. Right. If you could make your ultimate pack from all your favourite rides, what would they be? Right. Let's go top six. Okay, yeah. Um guardians. Yeah. I agree. Flosscoaster. Yeah. Hagrids? Yeah. Yeah, I feel a bit like that with Hagrids. I don't know if it's just I think there's better now. Yeah. Oh, there's one. Yes. Monsters. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Thank you for including that for me. And then I'm going many black. What? Yeah. All the Stardust races. Oh true Stardust races. This guy, man. Surprisingly Yoshis. Jesus. If Orlando disappeared tomorrow, what attraction would you miss the most? Do you know what it would be Guardians? Just because like I know it's not it's tearing on my top favourite with VelociCoaster, but like I just get off that ride smiling so hard. Love it. I think I'd probably actually say VelociCoaster just because I like to like say to people, like, have you done Velocicoaster? And like it is an experience, innit? But I like seeing people's reactions when they come off Guardians. Yes, same. But at the same time, seeing my dad's reaction on VelociCoaster. I think you wanted to be safe. Yeah. See, yeah, I'd probably say Volcas. Okay. Oh, um there's multiple, there's multiple. Okay. What is your first memory of visiting Orlando that stuck with you? I feel like we're gonna say the same thing. That first walk to the parks, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So for people who don't know the story, we got off the plane, checked into the hotel. This was our honeymoon, part of a part of our honeymoon. So I'd been like convincing Becky to that we wanted to go. So like we'd kind of done a we did a bit of like watching videos and stuff, didn't we? Yeah, yeah, yeah. We did some prep. We watched um main people we were watching when we first started were like the Pew2. Which they just started. Yeah. Yeah. Uh and there wasn't as many I feel like there wasn't as many YouTubers then. No. Because we watched like face faceless ones, didn't we? Like fugal Britt. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um but yeah, so we got off the plane, and then I knew what Orlando weather were like, so I like asked the concierge guy, um, oh is it rained yet? And he was like, No, but a storm's coming. I was like, Yeah, I could I could feel it, and then we could see it driving over. And then as soon as we got to the front door, the back door, sorry, of Sapphire Falls, it just opened. Yeah. So then we were walking to the parks. I had the umbrella up, and we only brought one umbrella, and I was like, right, this ain't working, me trying to crouch down under this umbrella. So I passed it to you, and I was like, I'm just gonna sacrifice my feet. That's why my feet stunk drunk a vinegar, whatever you said it was. Um sorry, but yeah, so that's that's the memory. Walk into the parks and then just like it was almost like as soon as we got because we got to the parks, it wasn't we were just laughing, like, oh my god, this because we I mean we've been to Jamaica before, haven't we? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so we'd we've I'd experienced tropical storms like that. You've been to Florida before, but like like yeah, experience them in Jamaica. No, you just hide, don't you? Yeah, just go back to your room once. So I was like that excited, I was like, no, I still want to go, let's go. Yeah. And we got to the park and we went and got as passes, didn't we? I know passes. Mm-hmm. And then we walked, and I remember getting to Jurassic Park and taking the ponchos like it stopped raining. Yeah. So it's like it rained for what maybe it's like. What was the first ride we did? Can you remember? Did Hogwarts Express? Was that the first thing we did? We didn't do it, we did an actual ride because we can't we went back the next slide at the Lone Palm Bar at Margaritaville. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And got margaritas. That's why we love that place so much. Like I know it's a chain and the margs are just yeah, they're alright. Um, but it's it's the sentimental value of being sat there. Cause I remember going when we were as kids and I remember my mum and dad going ahead going to the plane. We used to call it the plane. Yeah, yeah, the plane. And going there, and they used to do boneless wings there. I don't know if they still do. Maybe. But I remember that was the first time I like ever had buffalo as well. Yeah, yeah. Um, so yeah. But yeah, that's my memory. Is it was it my yoga or my go? You go, because I can't remember. Okay. Oh right. Is it better to do epic from rope drop till early afternoon or later till end of day? That depends on your personality. That's a very good question, though. Because if you're somebody who likes to keep out of the heat, yeah. They're doing it early and getting it done. Very true. Yeah. But if you're somebody who wants to see certain things at night, you have to be there at night. And it is a beautiful park at night. Yeah. Celestial Park comes alive. Not just Dark Universe, like the Central Hub is stunning at night. And Burke's cool at night. Yeah. They're all cool at night. I don't know what Super N Super Nintendo looks at like at night, though. We've not been in there at night. Yeah, I feel like that's more of a daytimey pot. Yeah. And it obviously it cools down again. So I don't know, it's his personal preference that I think. But yeah, I'd probably I'd probably say if you wanted to and if you wanted to get everything done, I'd say it early. But then if you were just like there for the vibes, wanted to ride a couple of things, go get something to eat. You've been a few times kind of thing. Yeah. During the evening. What's been the weirdest part of becoming creators? Weirdest part. I think it's talking to a camera in public. Yeah, agree. Or like getting emails from people being like, oh, we've got this thing, would you be interested in in Yeah. That's just that like recently happening, and it's like, us. I mean we got we got tin roof last last year, didn't we? Yeah. And that was like that was the first kind of big thing that had come. Yeah. And it was very much like like that, yeah, like why why us kind of? Yeah, yeah. We're grateful. It's just like we're two normal people from West Yorkshire, like and you over in Orlando know who we are. Like, wow. Yeah, that would that were crazy. Um is that what the question was? Is it a good one? What's the weirdest part? Yeah. I honestly think that talking to the camera for the first time in Manchester Airport, no, in our kitchen, was weird. Yeah. Yeah. I'll look back now and I'm like, oh, we were so awkward. And I think just like trying to explain it to people, let's say for people at work or something, it's pretty weird. Yeah. Because they're like, they don't really understand it. No, even we don't really understand it because we're like, we talk about Orlando, I guess. Like we say we say, Oh, we we've got a podcast, we do Instagram, we make reels, we do, we take photos, we do all this stuff. And never really like if if someone said to you, Oh, what do you do when you're a joiner, you say, Oh, I'm a joiner. Yeah, there's no simple way to say this. Yeah, yeah. Unless you're somebody that gets the space. Yeah, yeah. So yeah, and I feel like if you just say, Oh, I'm a content creator, to people that are like, you know, not too into YouTube, they're like, Oh, one of them. Yeah. Was it? Yes. So how did we meet? Do you want to tell the story? Uh yeah. So I was at university doing my undergrad and we knew each other through social media. Not like we didn't really speak, we just, you know, like liked each other's tweet every now and again. It was back in it was back in Twitter days, yeah. Um and I was, I did um, my undergraduate is in media and popular culture. So one of my assignments was to create a podcast, Full Circle Moment. Full circle. Um, and my podcast was on um underground bass music and like the stigma it gets. And Jake was at the time was running basement, um, which was you know an underground music event in Huddersfield. So I reached out and I was like, Can I interview you for my podcast? And I was like interviewing a few of your friends, like DJQ and stuff at the same time. Um, so I arranged to meet him at the university and I sat in the student union and I interviewed you. Yeah. And he was very nervous. It's the first time I've ever seen a gym girl. What do you mean? Like I'm a different breed. And we're like, oh well. Oh dear. Uh so yeah, I interviewed him for a podcast, but um, like I think a couple of months later when we started like seeing each other and what have you, um he said that he sent me a message on Facebook or Twitter years ago trying to slide in my DMs to ask me where I got my shoe rack from. Yeah, when I got aired. Apparently I don't know. Yeah. Um if you don't know, we both like collect sneakers, trainers, wherever you wherever you're from, you whatever you want to call them. Um we've both done that for years. Um, so I I had mine all displayed on a shoe rack when I still lived at home with my parents, and I think he must have, yeah. Needed a shoe rack. Needed a gateway. Yeah. I did actually need a shoe rack because there was stuff everywhere. But yeah, that's how we that's how we met. I didn't well at least you didn't air me when I asked for an interview. Yeah, very true. But I do think it's crazy how I that's how we met, and now look, we're doing a podcast. Yeah. And you're not going, um, yeah, so um um Was that what I was like? Yeah, yeah. I swear if I could find that file that file, you were so nervous. Yeah, yeah. Bless your little soul. Right, moving on. Are you uh are you looking forward to like giving me a depth stare? I can feel it. I don't know what the question is. I thought the question was sort of I was just sort of about you being nervous. It's fine, maybe being nervous. I'm not I still am kind of nervous, but I'm not as bad as my war. Whoa. Um are you looking forward to Universal UK? What would you want to see there? I am not actually that looking forward to Universal UK. You've always said this. Yeah. Mainly because like us going to Orlando is more than just the theme parks, even though that is a big part of it. And I think like we've got theme parks here in the UK, and granted they're not as good as what like the theme part of the theme parks here in the UK. That's true, man. Why do they call them that over here? They should just be roller coaster in land. Roller coaster grounds. Yeah. Um, yeah, like the rides are meant to be really good. And like going as a kind of a younger, there were like good rides. I've never been to Holland Towers. Um, that's the closest one. Uh is yeah, closest closest major one anyway. But yeah, just like the theming is just not the same, and the thought of like when we we went to Orlando in January, and we had to take this is really petty, but we had to wear jumpers because it was cold, and it was just like another thing you had to put in your bag, yeah. And then you had to take your bag off to go on the ride, and like just that in the UK. I like they do say if that they're trying to make it like completely indoors. Like they've got it in Japan, it will be completely indoors, but yeah, it's it's not gonna be the same because we I mean, yes, they've got inclement weather in Florida, we have unstable 24-7 rain, wind, it's not just seasonal, like it you you could have a I like I don't know. And I do think like part of it is like the community as well, and I feel like the community is gonna be different in the UK. I don't know, because I think it's universal so people latch onto that community, so and there's people making um excuse me, the beer, um, videos on it constantly, like you know, like Bio Reconstruct does it did it for Epic and all that. Like there's people that are doing that for the British parks, like them two guys that sit there on the picnic chairs, what what is that? I can't remember what they're called. But shout out to them guys, it's like the fact that you're doing that and it's in the UK is is yeah. But yeah, I just I just I'm not that that excited for it. I sound like a hair. Um, and also it's the fact that like everyone goes to Orlando because it's like they're once in a lifetime almost. Yeah, so you've got like so much excitement, and I don't think that's gonna be the same in the UK park. Like people will not take it for granted, but it'd be easier for them to get to. I mean, there's a few people on different podcasts like in around the world who have said like they would like to come to England. That was the point to increase the tourism. Um, but then at the same time it's like in Bedfordshire. Yeah it's in the bit of the middle of nowhere, but yeah. It's not though, because it's you know it's accessible from all the airports, train lines, like that's why they've put it there. But yeah, I think the reason why we go to Orlando is because there is so much to offer. Yeah, yeah. And what has Bedfordshire got to offer on that level, other than that, and like you can argue that about Disneyland Paris, but then people flock to Paris to go see the Parisian, you know, cities and yeah, yeah, yeah. I suppose you could argue that with London, but we live here. London's just chaos, yeah. Um yeah, the weather, it's yeah, nah. Um like I want to go, and I'd really like I think it'd be interesting. However, the IPs that have been rumoured for it don't excite me. Yeah, yeah. Like, yeah, Lord of the Rings. Lord of Rings going, then it'd be exciting. But at the same time, I don't think it wouldn't be the same. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it depends. Uh like it depends. I hope they they you know, prove us wrong, and it's an we know it will be an amazing park. Like it will change the UK theme parkscape in terms of putting the theme back in theme park. But and for those like American people listening, we like have cereal boxes that have like two for one offers at Alton Towers because not that many people go. Yeah. So and the same with like the southern parks, like Thought Park and stuff. So not like it's like the theme park industry almost is not that big here. No, it's not, no. Uh I think my first roller coaster I ever went on was like one in Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Yeah. That has Pepsi Max. All them roller coasters are not health or safe. No, they're not. Have I gone? Did you go? Uh Sugar. Okay. Oh, I don't feel like we're making a hole in these questions. I feel like we've done last time we threw we f through, we flew through them, and we had like 50. Which attraction deserves a move? I'm gonna sound like a broken record, but Darkmoor needs its own film series, ego, just life with ego, like, and the whole lore behind like Victoria Frankenstein and the manor and her legacy, and you know, yeah, they could do an origin story of like Frankenstein dying and shit, and taking the yeah, yeah, yes. Yeah, that's a cool universal fit. What's the weirdest thing you've seen at the packs? No, we had the weirdest thing about something else. Yeah, yeah. The weirdest thing we've seen in the packs. Weirdest thing. You see a lot of mad shit. You do, yeah. I think some of the t-shirt choices are mad. Yeah, we started off making a listing as notes app on his phone of the funniest t-shirts we see. Yeah. You know, there's like the husband and wife matching t-shirts where it's just like it says hubby on one and it's like Mickey Mouse's face. Yeah, but there were some crazy ones. Like I but I planned the trip and then the other ones like I paid for it. Let me see if I can find it while we're still talking. But um other weird things, would you say? People's footwear choices baffle me. Especially the stuff that like Yeah. Hey dudes. Hey dudes? Oh yeah, I don't get those because like um they're sponsored Huddersfield Town, which is Oh yeah, they do. A lot of people wear those in the parks. They must be comfortable, but they remind me of Tom's. Yeah, they do, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Uh I don't think I've got this note. I've got a Disney hot takes section. I don't know what else weird I've seen. I feel like there is some. That was weird. I feel like I started that notes up on my phone. Which ride has the best cue? Ride has the best cue. Uh probably battle at the ministry. Ooh, it's oh monsters and gym. Yeah, it's between those two. I think probably battle, I think. Yeah, I audibly gasped when you when I walked in there. Whereas Monsters was like, oh my god, that's cool, that's cool. But I when I walked in Battle of the Ministry, I was like Yeah, that is incredible what you've done there. Yeah. That's probably better than the ride, personally. Oh yeah, I agree. Uh-huh. I'm still trying to find this note. Which park has the best people watching? Ma I'm gonna say people watching. I'm probably gonna say at today cafe. Alright. In Universal Studios. And you just watch everyone coming through the park. Because it's right at the front, so everyone's gassed. Yeah. Mine would be um I like sitting on Hollywood Boulevard. Yeah, that's pretty good that one as well. Like watching everyone walk down towards Tower of Terror. Especially early in the morning. Yeah. Specifically with a pickle. But my one I would say is better is sat at the Lone Palm Bar, whatever it's called. Yeah, yeah. Outside Margaritaville, just watching everybody in City Walker. Particularly at night when the parks are closing and everybody's coming out because yo, we all be looking dishevelled. It's instairs dirty. Yeah. Oh, I'm still I'm determined to if I find it, I will put it on our stories because I don't want to waste time on the podcast doing this. But like we definitely made a list of funny t-shirts that we'd seen. My Harry Potter t-shirt from his. Yeah, that's that would make them. A ride closure you'll never recover from. Ride closure. See. I've not been going to them since I was like a tiny child, like most people. So what have you seen clothes though? Poseidon's Fury. Ripride Rocket. Ripride. Which be good riddance. Rude riddens. Um I still think dueling dragons for me. I mean Hagrid's is is a great ride that replaced it, but it was just like it was so easy to get on a coaster that was like that was a good coaster. Yeah. And they now I feel like Hulk kind of has that. Like there's times where you could just walk straight on Hulk and but like Drillion Dragons was white. Yeah, no. But like Drillion Dragons was like that. And it was it was a sick coaster. Um ride closures. I think I think that's it for me. Yeah, I've like I say, I've only witnessed those. Um you don't witness anymore. I don't think so, but yeah. I've had a ride rocket then, even though I only went on it like three times and I hated every minute of it. Yeah. Playing Fergie glamorous. That was my song of choice, by the way. Contrapuntal sound, sound that does not fit the scene. Science. Science. Words. Which HHN House rumour has you hyped? Probably the stranger thing. I agree, yeah. I mean, like this is the 35th anniversary. So everybody's ac expecting big things. Um I think scream as well if they do scream. Scream, yeah. Oh god. I'd rather have scream than Stranger Things if I have to pick one or the other. Because I feel like Stranger Things would be sick, but I don't think it's gonna be scary. I don't think But saying that though, I didn't think Hatchet Unchained would be in that how's the second run? Shit me up. Yeah. Yeah, I'd probably say Stranger Things or scream ya. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Hopefully more announcements keep coming. Yeah, hopefully soon. When's your next trip? So we are going on the back end of September and we're there for a month. Yeah, yeah. So we're there till the 22nd. Yeah, 22nd of October. Yeah. Um so yeah, if you're out there, give us a shout. And it's still not long enough because we're still having we've got a lot of things. Yeah, we're still missing things in regard to like double book almost or like not do a full part days because we're doing dumb stuff. Okay, this is an interesting one. What is the ultimate goalslash dream for Orlando Accomplice? Um to be doing this full time. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, we both love being creative and the flexibility this would bring. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Not to be pinned at a desk all day. Yeah. Like, yes, that that is a big chunk of this, obviously, editing. Um but and just like there's been so many times where like it comes to like say now, like now we're recording on a Sunday night, it's half eight. Yeah. We've like been working all day. Like to be fair, I started work on Orlando Accomplice this morning at what time did you get to the we got to snowboarding our quarter to nine? Yeah, so like bless Jake. So we've nearly done twelve hours today. I'll go have my lesson and he will sit on the laptop and do his part, whatever he's doing that for that hour. And it's like we've then we kick like then we come back, come here for a bit, edit what we need to edit, or like plan what we need to plan, shoot what we need to shoot. Yeah, and it's still like tomorrow we go to his day jobs, and it's like I just want to be doing this. That's what we wake up and we're like, I just wish we were doing our own thing. So yeah, that's that's the dream of it. Yeah, mm-hmm. I agree. That's your question. No, I think it was you. Yeah, it is you. What's the most underrated thing outside the parks in Orlando? Briar's Patch. Yeah, I do think it's underrated because not that many people really know about it. But I'm sure the locals in Winter Park would hate us if we were sending boatloads of people. Not that we have boatloads of followers, but oh it's so good. And at the same time, like I feel like for it might be overrated for locals because of like the price. Yeah, it's expensive. And for people that don't like, you know, to be this might be the wrong way to put it, like explorative with the breakfast foods, or like, you know, they like they don't really eat breakfast, then you're probably like, oh whatever. Yeah. I mean, we go for brunch, they serve burgers. Yeah, the burgers are super good actually. I'd probably say as well, Sienas, um that's kind of like a newfound love just because we crave that weekly. Kind of far outside of like away from Disney, especially. Um, but like price-wise, you're paying like $13, you're getting a massive portion, and it's so good food. Yeah, and it's a small independent shop, and the people were lovely, yeah, the food was great. Yeah. Your favourite universal hotel to stay at? We've only stayed at two. Yeah. I stayed at High Rock, and I that's probably my favourite, but mainly because of the closeness to the parks. Um, but our favourite is probably Aventura just because it ticks all those boxes. For us as a couple in 30s, who spend most of the time not at the hotel. It's clean, it's modern, it's fairly quiet. Like if you're somebody who's like, you know, a busy pool's not your vibe. Like the pool's nothing special, but it's clean. A body of water that you can get. They have Stellar on draft. Um, there's a Starbucks in the lobby, which there is in every Advent Adventura. Every Adventura, every Universal Hotel, bar, surfside, darkside. Do they not have one? Uh I don't know how to. I feel like they probably do. God knows. Um, but yeah, we just like it. And you can use the water taxis from across the road at Sapphire Falls. Literally, it is a two-second walk across the parking lot, um, and you're paying a fraction of the price. Yeah, yeah. Let's go. What has been your proudest Orlando accomplice moment so far? Proudest. Maybe was the tin roof call-up. Um and then the other stuff that we've kind of got in the pipeline. Yeah. That stuff's been super good. Um just like the recognition that people are kind of giving us. I mean, like some people who have kind of been with us from the start, we've kind of had a lot of recognition from them early doors. And like so not saying that like the recognition now is better than what it was then. It just seems like it's more people are kind of screaming as name now, but it's because we're kind of growing followers. So probably that the proudness of like when people say they're proud of us kind of thing. That's what I was gonna say. It's those comments that are like, we see what effort you two put in. Yeah. And you know, we see that and like keep going and that kind of thing. It's not the it's not the numbers that we hit and it you know, it's we're being creative, we enjoy what we do. This is our, you know, hobby. But is like that also consumes like most of his life at this point, yeah. Yeah, especially now, because like I say, it's it's we've been so we've been so busy. Yeah, and we're trying to keep on top of this. Yeah, yeah. And like waking up every day to like just so many messages and just like DMs and notifications from just random people who don't even know. Yeah. Yeah. Bring back one extinct attraction from each park. Now, if we did Disney and Universal, this would take a long time. So let's just do Universal. Just do islands and studios. Okay, uh Ripride. Mm-hmm. Sorry. Um and Jewel and Dragons. So, like I said, I've not been going to the packs as long as Jake has. So I watching videos and hearing his chatter about Jewel and Dragons, that would be my one for islands, and then um again, based on people's chatter and hype, I would have liked to have seen the Jaws ride. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Even though like animatronics in water freak me out, yeah. And Jurassic Park River Adventure sends shivers down my spine. I think the Jaws that's the thing, I think the Jaws one would have freaked me out, so I would have enjoyed it. We don't like being scared. This one I know who it's from. Okay. So I'll do another question. Oh, is it a pistol? Right. Okay. What's Becky's most controversial park opinion? So we've got one each, haven't we, for this? Yeah, I think that person asked that twice, yeah. So we My controversial park opinion is Magic Kingdom is my least favourite park in Orlando. Ever out of every single thing. Yeah. That's a good one. Uh mine is that people should stop drinking so much soda. Yeah. Just drink water. Just drink water. Like the the yeah, the pip like the in that reel that I made about um what I think people are lying about liking in Disney, and I mentioned the um resort mugs, it wasn't because like I understand that you get them free or like they've good value for money, like that fantastic, like great. However, how are you drinking that much soda in a day? And the fact that people they will land and get to their resort, and then the first thing they must do is pick up this fucking plastic cup. That's my point that I was getting. Like, I see all these YouTubers that like I love the content, and then it'll all be like, can't wait to get a crispy diet coke in my resort mug. And I'm like, go to the fucking park, like get out, have fun. Like, why are you why do you need a you've got six of them at home? Yeah. I think if I had that much soda, I'd probably shit myself. So yeah, I agree with this with his controversial opinion. Uh-huh. Oh no, no. Oh. You can read it. Yeah. What ride genuinely scares you? Hulk. Velocicoaster still for me. Hulk. I say it all the time. It's that voice. It is such a good mechanism to make you shit yourself before you get on the ride. Do not be afraid. Oh, and it's the launch. I don't know why that one gets me, and the Velocicoaster one doesn't. Like, I sit there on Velocicoaster and I like you feel it go and pull you back, and I'm like, let's go. Yeah, no thanks. I love it. But yeah, Hulk. Makes me poo my pants. Which ride are you secretly too old for, but still love? High in the sky series trolley. Let me give a different one then. But I agree. Ooh. I can't think now. I think we're too old for hiccup swing gliders. No. But I love it so much. Yeah. There's gonna be a day when we're like 55 riding that and still crying over that score. Then we'll be too old. Yeah. Yeah. No, I don't think so. The carassoous cell. We had a good time on that. We had a real good time on that. Laughs were hard. So a Disney and universal food take you stand by forever. I'm just repeating myself. Corn dog nuggets are shit. Same with spring rolls. Um give a good one. Yeah, a good take is that the food is better in the resorts than the art in the park. Agreed. Yeah. Um and the the pickles. Okay. Just pickles. Universalists to get pickles. Which park has the best nighttime atmosphere? Best park. Ooh. Um I'm gonna say I kind of want to say epic. I'd say epic, but then I would also say Hollywood Studios. The other one I'm gonna say. In uh Disney Disney's Hollywood Studios. Um is it Hollywood Boulevard? Yeah. The main street going down to Tower of Terror. That at night or at sunset. Oh it's sunset. Sunset Boulevard? The road going down to Tower of Terror. Like, yeah, I love that vibe with the 50s music and like getting ready for fantasmia. How excited are you for HHN? Very excited. No words. Yeah. Buzzing. So excited. Thank you for a simple question. No tumbleweeds there. One thing Disney should copy from Universal. With we had that one. The opposite way around. Ah, right. Um not be afraid to like people please all the time. Yeah, yeah. Like Disney's trying to hit the masses, and Universal's like, let me just dip my toe in this and see if it works. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a good shout. Like more thrill rides. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you've covered the bases with the families now. Give something for for your nostalgic fans that are, you know, like the coasters as well. Okay, so how many two-foot hot dogs could Milo devour? And Milo's got a thing for sausages recently. So I think he could eat without being poor. So he eats a kilo and a half of food a day. And his biggest meal is a kilo. Mm-hmm. So I think he could eat two kilos worth of food. W worth of hot dogs in one sitting. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know his busy. Yeah. What's your must do on every trip, no matter what? Go to Briar's Patch for breakfast. Yeah, yeah. I don't think we've ever not done that. Oh yeah, we did it one time, we didn't do it, and that was with us family because it was kind of late. And the thing is with Briar's Patch, if you don't get there early, then it does get busy. And you can't make a reservation, it's kind of first come, first serve. And there were six of us as well with it. Six of us. So when there's two of us, it's a lot easier to get seated. Um and plus we had however many parks to fit in a 10-day holiday in a group of six, so yeah. But that is something that we don't pass up when it's just us two. If you could live in one Orlando hotel forever, where? That's hard because we've not done a lot. I'd probably say hard rock because it's so close to the parks. Hmm. But you've got to live there, so you've got to think of amen amenities. There's got that big baller suite in it. True, true. I'd like to live in the Polynesian villas. Oh, that'd be nice, wouldn't it? Yeah. On the on the water. You can watch that weird sea parade. The electric the electronic music. The music on that is so funny. Yeah. It's cute and like it's historic because it's like, you know, it's the one thing that was there when the park opened. Sick of it when it's but yeah, it's just it doesn't fit Disney. It's dissording it. Biggest argument you've had in the parks. See, we saw the we saw this question because like it was kind of hard not to see them all. Um we bicker. When it gets hot and like I'm I get hungry. But we've never really had an argument, no. We have had an argument with someone else though. We had an argument with this this family on the monorail because we got to the stop and the look they just was not moving. They weren't moving, and like they'd basically they'd got in with a couple of push chairs, and there was about six or seven of them. So me and Jake were sat we moved across so they could all fit in, and then the monorail doors opened on their side, and no one moved, and they were like, you know, you can tell when it's about to shut. Yeah. And then they slowly started getting off, and we were like we were already long trying to get past people. Yeah, they're like, we were like, excuse me, sorry, sorry, we need to this is our stop, and just they were not moving. Yeah, it was just the lack of that's one thing that kind of gets like people you know when people are walking and they just stop in front of you in a theme park, it's like, how have you not got spatial awareness to just be like, Oh, let me check if someone's behind me or move to the site? Like if he's checking his phone, yeah, you can get engrossed in it. I'll be like, Jake, just come to the side. Like, um, yeah, so we've not really had an argument with each other, it'll just be like I'm hungry, and he'll be like, Well, we'll go get some food then and like whatever time I'll be like, No, no, I need to eat now. What inspired you to start content creating? We don't have creative jobs anymore. Uh yeah, that was one of them. Um, yeah, that was kind of the main reason. And we just fell in love with this thing that was thousands of miles away, and none of our friends really understand it. Yeah, yeah, I think that's kind of the point is that we kind of felt that there was not really like within our circle as like people and like our backgrounds, we didn't feel like we could talk that much about Orlando and Disney. Our friends are sick of hearing it, to be honest. And then but the other side of the coin, we kind of felt that there were people in kind of the circle that was not really catering for people like us. So it's like we just kind of felt that we was able to well, we just kind of wanted to show that Disney's for everyone kind of thing, or Universal or Orlando's for everyone, kind of thing. Yeah. Your top five most underrated things to do in Orlando, top five underrated things. Um eating, because there's outside the parks, especially. Eating outside the parks, yeah. Um underrated things. Um It's difficult because we've got a lot of things to do on our list that we consider underrated, but we've not done them yet. Yeah. Um underrated things outside the park. Um I feel like there's a very specific moment in my brain, and I can't think why we were there. We went to Hungry Bison and it was in like d a downtown somewhere. One of the. No, the that was pretty cool actually. Um and yeah, we went to what the fuck was it? It was Hungry Bison and you had that burger with a donut. Oh shit. But they said we parked in like a downtown area and we had to like walk through the streets. Um like the farmers markets and stuff like that. Like actually engaging in an the culture of Orlando, not just the theme parks in general. I don't think we have five. No, and then like a weird one was getting my haircut. And getting my nails done by a local. Hearing our stories about hurricanes and like the the pies they have. Yeah. Yeah. Going to tin roof, that's another good thing outside the park. Just kind of it feels like we've not done anything outside of the parks, but we have, we're just not this last couple of times because of you know a lot of them are just uh food related. Yeah, we eat a lot. And if you've watched the vlogs, you will know that. Yeah. Right. Have you ever wanted to quit content creation? No. No, never really. That's never actually even popped into my head that I don't want to do it. There's days where like, you know, like Jake said, we've we've done us full time jobs all week and then we do this on a weekend, and like we've filmed stuff, but we've not had chance to edit it that weekend. Because we've been you're filming it or whatever, and then we've got our social lives and as hobbies that we do, and it comes to and like personal commitments that we have, and then it comes to the following week and we're working again, and then we have to edit what we've done, and you're like there's times where I'm like, Oh god, I can't be arsed. But yeah, when I'm getting into it, I'm like, Oh, this is cool, and then time just flies, isn't it? Yeah, um, yeah, and then like we've been pretty good at like not dealing with hate, we've never really had that much hate. We've had like people like blockers and stuff for no reason. Yeah, that was odd. Yeah. Um, but like this never made me want to quit. It's always kind of like spurred it on a bit more. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. No. That was a long one. I probably could read that. What defunct attraction would you love to see a refreshed version of version of return, Disney Anuna? So I think we've covered this. Similar, yeah. Yeah. I think I'd like to well, Drooling Dragons said that already. Yeah. And Dinosaur, which we kind of see in a couple of things. Dinosaur is good. Uh I would go Forbidden Journey. I think it needs a massive revamp. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Especially now they've got the tech that they've got in Monsters Unchaired. Yeah, yeah. Um Disney. I would like to see, I know it's never gonna happen, two things. Two things. In Calais, they get the Halloween makeover unpaunted mansion, wherever it is nightmare before Christmas. They won't do that in Orlando because Orlando is the flagship park that people go to see the original attraction, so that's why they don't do it. Um, would love to see that, and I would also love to see the Guardians overlayer well edition of Tower of Terror. Yeah. But again, they won't do that because that's the flagship. Just got an email from Primark. Nice. Can I bet that dog? Yeah. Your man would love you. Oh, you would. I'll just pull out a few and then we can rattle through some of these. Okay. Don't know how long we've been going. I'll go hand in here. Okay, so you just did dog. True. Just did dog. Yeah. Best park breakfast. In park? In park. Today cafe. Er. In park. That's today cafe. Yeah, today that yeah. Yeah. Um do you ever venture away from Stella? Yes, I do. Margaritas. Yeah, I'm so proud of myself that I managed to get him on a mark. Now, like, yeah. I just it's like it I love it when I see a couple sharing a bottle of wine. I think it's the sweetest thing ever. And nah. No, I'm partial for a glass of wine. A glass of red wine, and then I sink the rest of the bottle, and then I'm shit face. Yeah. Oh a bit of a sucker for a pawn star martini. He is a girly pop. He is a girly pop. He likes his fruity cocktails. Whereas that to me, I'm like, yeah, yeah. Favourite Q soundtrack. Interesting. Soundtrack. Hmm. Probably the Voss Coaster. Yeah. Quicker than you realise. Yeah, yeah. We call that all the time. That's a shout. I mean, it's not a soundtrack, it's the whole. Yeah. What keeps you motivated to keep creating content? Probably you guys and like being able to be like connected to Orlando and connected to you as well. Like, I think we've said this numerous times, but like we've speak to a lot of you more than we speak to like most people. Um, so yeah, just and like some some of the people who don't even really know what you do in your personal life. So it's like, but we still just talk like most times, don't we? So yeah, I'd just probably say you look. What's Jake's most controversial park opinion? I think we answered that. Yeah, because we did that. Out of all parks, Disney on Universal, which park is your favourite and least favourite? Out of all the parks, uh most favourite I'd probably say islands. Yeah, it's still two. And then least favourite I'd probably say the Magic Kingdom, yeah. Yep. Best smell in Orlando. Sapphire Falls. Yeah, Sapphire Falls. As soon as you walk in that door, I'm like Yeah, so good. Right. Sorry, vampire tetra's on the floor. Team Disney Hotels or Team Universal, Team Universal. Yeah. A ride everyone loves, but you just don't get Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I don't think everyone loves Seven Dwarfs. Oh, they do. It's a small word by the sounds of things. Everyone loves that thing. Um Do you know what? Winnie the Pooh. Yeah, here. People love that little ride, and it made me feel really unwell. Yeah, yeah, it made us feel grim during the time. Yeah. You get that. Most disappointing new attraction. Minion Mayhem. That is a good shout. That is a good shout. There's that much that many people doing it. Like you don't know which is your well you do, but you don't know which is yours. And um yeah. Yeah, that's a good shout. I agree with that. Okay. Which park has the best music? I think we've had that. No, we don't. Which park we had ride best soundtrack. Oh. See, that's tough. I'm gonna say Hollywood Studios. Yeah, but I would also say Epic. Yeah. Yeah, but one of each. A universal opinion that will get you cancelled. Universal opinion. Yeah. Uh I don't know what's it'll give me get me cancelled. I'm pretty naked. They need to clean them freestyle machines. Clean them, they stink. Particularly the ones next to the the grass in studios. Tank. Yeah, stink. Yeah, stinky boy. Uh yeah, I think that one, but I don't think that'd get us cancelled, but yeah. It's just an opinion. It's gotta be so much to do with all the water that drains out of them and just getting stagnant underneath. In that warmth. And people mix just like people decide on I see people do it, they'll be like, they'll get a bit of a fill the freestyle cup up with like the most sugary concoction, drink a bit and then tip it straight into the machine. Yeah, no, I think so. Disgusting. Okay, what is your most overrated place to eat? I'm gonna say cowfish. Yeah, 100% agree. Yeah. What Orlando Hill are you willing to die on? The just the hill of cheeseburger spring rolls. Just the hill of Orlando to people that don't get it. Like people are like, oh, you're going back there again. And I'm like, what you've done it all? And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Listen, we haven't done it all. Things change all the time. You don't understand. The the the place is massive, and there's so much of the culture and the restaurants and outside park things that we want to do. Yeah. How many have you got left? Two. I've got three. Okay. You go there. What's your we have to do with this tradition? So this has kind of changed. So originally it was always get there and walk straight to Universal and go to Islands, ride Vlosscoaster. Then come back out and get a Margaret. Yeah. Whereas now we've been to Disney Springs first night, and that's been quite nice. Yeah. Bit of a change of pace, a bit more relaxed. But it's a bit further out in terms of like you've been travelling all day and then driving down there. So it does kind of depend. Why that helped was because the past times we've got there, the parks have shut at seven. That could be my hot take, is that this park should cut, but it wouldn't get me cancelled, it'd be make me hero probably. Yeah, universal, please. Open later. Open later for us, late flying people. It's not even late, like our flights we typically get are 11am. We just don't know. We get to there like maybe five afterm. And then you've got to check in and what have you. Um sorry, what was that question? My brain just malfunctioned. Must do traditions. Yeah. No. Yeah. So I think this time I want to stick with the con the one we do. It's gonna be different though this time, because we're gonna be in a villa. Oh, true. Sad. Um your comfort attraction. That's a good question. I know yours. Nemo. Nemo. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Jerk's is Nemo. I think now it would be hiccups. Wing gliders. Yeah. Yeah, just that makes me so happy. Or monsters don't kill. Shut up, Becca. We get it. You like it. Okay, which land could you spend an entire day in? I'm saying Burke. Burke. Yeah. Yeah. There's enough to do. There's an Yeah. Right, last question. We've made it. If you are still here, oh shit. Well, if you're still here on the last one. Mine's a good one as well. Proudier. Yeah. Overall thoughts on Universal this year with all the closures, etc. I think it needed to happen. They've put distractions in place with Epic. They've got a strategy, they know what they're doing. The overhauls needed to happen. Yes, it's like wall central, but beggars can't be choosers. Yeah. You want the improvements, then I think it's a bit shit for people who are they booked the trip and well to be fair actually. Like if you're coming from the UK, you get Epic included in your 14 day. You do. Or whichever ticket you get normally. And then if you're Yeah, you missed the question. Okay. Um this one's a really good one. Okay. Um and then where was I going? 14 day epic ticket. And if you're going down from somewhere in America and you're going for a weekend, you're buying a ticket anywhere, so you can just buy an epic ticket. So I guess there's always epic to go to. Yeah. Do you want me to do this one since yours is a really good one? Is yours better than this one? Yeah, no. So I don't do it this way. Who's more chaotic in the parks? Ooh. I d I feel like I think we do it well. Yeah. But I feel like you get overstimulated more than me. That's not chaos though. Yeah. But then I feel like that causes chaos. We're gonna have this first argument in the parks. Why? Because I'm trying to do some of it myself. Yeah. And then you're getting overstimulated. Yeah. And then I'm trying to make sure you're alright. Yeah. Whilst also trying not to be overstimulated myself. Whilst having like five? Five. Five cameras strapped to my ass. Yeah, yeah, true, true, true. I wouldn't say I'm chaotic. Uh but the overstimulation is real. And I'm a chaotic walker. That's that, yeah. Yeah. And you'll forget things, or yeah. No, it's you. It's you. The amount of times we've needed to go back to the room or we've got somewhere and he's forgotten something. Yeah, true. It's you. Now we're both we're both equally good and equally bad. Yeah. In different ways. That's a beauty, you just get lost, isn't it? Yeah. Okay, what's your favourite vlog you've made so far? The HHN vlog. Mine's gonna be the first time we went to Epic again and vlogged epic. Yeah, mine the first HHN vlog, we've done two. So the first time we went. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. Wow. All of them we've done 78 questions. So thank you so much for submitting a question if you did. Um we hope we answered them okay to the best of our abilities. Um, I'm so sorry for the length of this one. I don't even know how long it is. So if you've made it this far, thank you so much. Um, we hope you've enjoyed it. We hope you've learned something about Orlando Accomplice. Um, but yeah, thank you so much for listening. Thank you so much for watching. Goodbye.
