EXCLUSIVE: Chris Skidmore OBE Launches UK Clean Power Taskforce Report
Former Energy Minister and Chair of the Climate Action Coalition Chris Skidmore OBE joins host Alex Wolfe at a critical moment for UK energy policy and clean power.
Chris and the Chair of the Climate Change Commitee, Nigel Topping, launch the UK Clean Power Taskforce Report which looks at the electric economy. How do we create census and communicate change?
We also get into the detail of Chris' last two years since he resigned from Rishi Sunak's government over the issuing of new oil and gas licenses.
They also explore what must happen next to scale heat pumps, EVs and grid upgrades, the role of government versus the private sector and why the City of London remains central to financing the energy transition and shaping the future of UK energy.
