Paul greets the Thessalonian church with gratitude, praising God for their faith, love, and hope in Christ. He reminds them that the gospel came to them not only with words but with power and the Holy Spirit. Their transformed lives became a testimony throughout the region, as they turned from idols to serve the living and true God and to wait for Jesus’ return.
