The Brotherly Bet
Welcome to The Brotherly Bet, where sports betting meets bad decisions and even worse advice. We’re just a few guys who think we’re smarter than Vegas — and we have the losing slips to prove it.
Every week, we break down the biggest games, make picks we MIGHT regret, and talk way too much about things like kicker props, questionable calls, and whether the Bears are legally allowed to play offense.
It’s part sports betting, part group therapy, and ALL fun.
No guarantees. Just HOT TAKES, BOLD BETS, & ZERO REGRETS.

Winners Pick Noon Games: Lessons from NFL Week 1
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
When the dust settled on NFL Week 1, Jack and Grant returned to the studio ready to dissect what we learned and strategize for Week 2. With cramping players, unexpected outcomes, and the inevitable overreactions, opening weekend delivered its usual chaos—but the Brotherly Bet still managed a respectable 63% prediction rate.
The hosts break down the satisfaction of watching the Chiefs finally face adversity against the Chargers in Brazil, comparing it to how others must have felt during the Blackhawks' dynasty years. Josh Allen's fourth-quarter heroics against Baltimore sparked a discussion about that rare feeling when a quarterback seems capable of overcoming any deficit.
As injury reports start filling up—with George Kittle's hamstring, Xavier Worthy's shoulder collision with Travis Kelce, and a surprising number of other injuries across the league—the hosts analyze how these absences might impact upcoming matchups.
For Week 2, Jack and Grant methodically work through each game with their predictions, focusing especially on the noon kickoffs where their historical success rate has been highest. Their official "Brotherly Bet" features money line selections with +424 odds, while the more adventurous "Breakfast Bet" targets four underdogs with potential for a massive 32x return.
Whether you're a serious bettor or casual fan, the balanced analysis and casual banter provide both entertainment and practical insights as we navigate the unpredictability of early-season football. As they remind listeners: hot takes, bold bets, & zero regrets.
Introduction to Season 2 Episode 2
Speaker 1Hot takes bold bets, zero regrets. You're locked in with the Brotherly Bet.
Speaker 2And welcome back, baby. We are here. Episode two, season two of the Brotherly Bet. We're your hosts. I'm Jack with my buddy here, g-train Grant. How you feeling Good? Let's get it going. Yeah, we're not feeling too good after our first week of the Brotherly Bet, but you know what Awkward it's always an awkward week one of the NFL. You don't know who's who, you don't know what's going on. That's fine, you live, you learn.
Week 1 NFL Highlights Review
Speaker 2People aren't in shape yet yeah half the people are coming out of the games because they're cramping, but we make no excuses here. Excuses are like bananas Eat one on the sidelines. There you go, there you go. Grant's going to take us away here with some week one highlights Grant, what do you got for us?
Speaker 3All right. It's kind of like traffic here, folks, i-90s blocking up 57. God knows what's going on there, because I don't live within 50 miles of that. The Eagles edged out the Cowboys there. There was a little spitting, but nothing that can't be handled. Buccaneers had a nice win over the Falcons Thanks to late pass from Baker Mayfield to rookie man. This is a Amica, amica, amica. That's a new one to me. Folks, no, mark Johnson there, the Steelers squished by the New York Jets. How did you feel about Aaron Rodgers in his debut?
Speaker 2Aaron was a top two player of the team. Probably number one.
Speaker 3Probably number one Number one in the senior center too. I mean it was a tight butt. Cheek Sphincter has never worked harder game tighter than your ass when you pass a cop car. Yeah.
Speaker 2It was. I watched it with tom, my wife katie, our kids. Um, I didn't think that we'd be um shaking when our defense was on the field. But, um, special teams all makes a difference. Uh, especially in the nfl, with a bunch of teams losing by one missed kicks, we can get to the Bears game in a minute about missed kicks. But yeah, they don't ask how, they ask how many. So it's 1-0.
Speaker 3It's 1-0 for now. Until next week, it's going to be 2-0. Anyway, going back to the Commanders, it would be the Giants who were a little more impressive than I actually thought, and the bills came out with a big w at the end against the ravens. So shout out to our good buddy, 41 year old matt prater, who proved that you can come back from anything after a dewey in 2011. So shout out, matt. Hope you're not driving now. Herbie had a nice game in Brazil. Justin Herbert, we're talking about Great head of hair Chargers beat the Chiefs.
Speaker 2Oh, it's so nice to see and I know there's a lot of Chiefs fans out there and I was talking to someone today and we were talking about fair weather fans and we're like you know what, if you're a fairweather fan, you're either probably a wife of someone, because you just you want to support your husband, right, so fairweather fan. Or you got a best friend who's like alright, I'll, I'll root for you, like I'm down with that. Or kids. Kids will jump on anything that they like winners. So, but those of you that are Chiefs fans, that have been diehard Chiefs fans, I think the time is over. I want to say it's over. At least Enjoy a little bit of a struggle. It's nice to see them. Not Everything falls your way All the time, like the past couple years it was like everything. Everyone's talking about the refs, this voodoo magic, taylor Swift and all her magic, whatever. It was nice to see Justin Herbert come out. Throw for the amount that he threw for.
Speaker 3And he got a nice Brazilian bikini wax on the way home. I'm sure he did. I will say we had the Blackhawks three Stanley Cup rounds. This is probably how people feel, or at least felt about us. That like with the Chiefs. Now right.
Speaker 2Absolutely. I'll put my foot in my mouth on that, because we were very blessed.
Speaker 3So annoying, and we didn't even have taylor swift, yeah, so a little jealous, we had patrick kane though, who just beat the piss out of taxi drivers, so didn't matter he had great mitts on him great great mitts
Speaker 2um, but I agree it's so when you're in, when you're on that side of the fence, you're like dude, you're just getting all the haters, that's fine, we're winning. So I, we've been there. That's why the fences are high. Man, do you remember watching side note? Now we're gonna go down a hockey rabbit hole since we both played. Do you remember just watching those games? And even when you were down, you're like all right, we're down three, one in the third. You just still had this feeling you're like we get one before 10 minutes and then you'd get one. You'd be like we're gonna win and we're gonna win.
Speaker 2Like that's, that's how it has to be being a buffle bills fan. Now, right, like you're like looking at the clock, like five minutes, we're down 17 or whatever, like yeah, we're okay, like that's, I get 40, and I'll come back and go through a card table. We're going to be fine. We're going to be fine. We're still going to figure it out. We got Prater, who was luckily sober for that kick, so Nailed it.
Speaker 2Yeah, well, it was also a chip shot. All he had to do was get it onto the green. So I mean I think I could have made that. I mean I couldn't have, but I think a high school kicker on a varsity team could have made a 20-yarder.
Speaker 3Not from Palos Park, but you know he threw for over.
Speaker 2I think I saw the stat he threw for, now I'm going to low ball it, because I think it was more. I think he threw for over 250 yards in the fourth. Are we talking about Matt Prater? We're talking about Josh Allen.
Speaker 3Oh, Josh.
Speaker 2Matt Prater just has to go out and do a couple kicks.
Speaker 3Yeah, Okay you were talking about him doing kicks at Lake Zurich High School. Yeah, okay, all right and we're back All right he did. Yeah, he threw a lot of yards. Yeah, he looked good.
Speaker 2But as expected, yeah, and it's nice to see the Baltimore Ravens are rolling ones at the bottom of the AFC North. Yeah With the Browns.
Notable Player Injuries Impact
Speaker 3Beware, they're coming. Yeah, they are, they still look good, so it's week one so. On to the next. Injury impacts Jalen Hurts. Also, by the way, he played good, he touched a couple butts on the way there. The butt push move. Anyway, injury impacts George Kittle. Unfortunately pulled his butt A lot of butt talk already A lot of butt talk.
Speaker 3Hamstring is dead, pulled his butt. Brock Bowers sounds like a serial killer. He did something to his knee. Evan Ingram, his calf. The cow's doing all right. The calf isn't. Jawan Jennings shoulder, day-to-day. Drake Linden also a shoulder. Xavier Worley, another shoulder. Do you want some thighs with that?
Speaker 2Good one, wrote it down. Good one.
Speaker 2Yeah and you know what A lot of these injuries. I know kittles be up probably three to five. So all you fantasy players out there, you better pick up another tight end brock bowers didn't seem to. That, didn't seem too serious. Um, ingram the calf. I mean we saw that last year with christian mccaffrey dude. The calf was 12 weeks. You know it was the calf. Then it like moved down to the keelys and so hopefully know we always wish that these guys come back and play, because they're playing a hell of a game, but I've never seen so many shoulder issues.
Speaker 3Shoulders are tough to come back with Shoulders. George Kittle's going to be fine because he's built like an Iowa farmer.
Speaker 2I think he is an. Iowa farmer. Well, now he's farming out in California. He's got his Subaru. Worthy was out, I mean. So if you started him week one, he got you goose egg. Nada, zero zilch, no points for you, shout out. I was playing John in Fantasy this week and he had Xavier Worthy, so I wasn't too upset with that with a nice goose egg. But sorry, buddy, it's crazy though, like all these guys, that just shoulder pops and you know how Xavier Worthy got hurt.
Speaker 3I don't.
Speaker 2Alright, travis Kelsey on a cross route, popped him so they ran into each other. So he ran into a big guy and he's not exactly the biggest. He's not a Popsicle stick like Justin Jefferson. There you go, there we go.
Speaker 3He just looks like the stick figure guy in models running in old games.
Speaker 2Yeah, but he runs really fast.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, I just hate all the—. He's got that dog chain hanging out. I just—.
Speaker 2Oh, funny side note, so we're watching— Since we're talking dog chains, so I'm walking my dog, so I'm walking my dog.
Speaker 2No, we're watching the Bills and the Ravens game Great game. So I'm sitting there. I'm like derrick henry comes up, he's built like a house and so my lovely wife. It's like why is he wearing all that jewelry? And I'm like, well, me being the smart ass, I'm like doesn't matter what he's wearing, he's got 150 on the ground, two touchdowns already. Like Doesn't matter what he's wearing, he's got 150 on the ground, two touchdowns already. Like he can wear whatever he wants Later for the fumble.
Speaker 2So she's like falling asleep next to me and so she turns over because I'm getting all jazzed up because I got I think I had $1.25 on a Bills thing that hit, so I had big money riding on this baby and I'm like he fumbled. And she's like who fumbled? And I'm like Derrick Henry and she goes probably that stupid jewelry. So it was nice. It was nice, it was a nice little zinger, and then she literally just like rolled over and just like went back to sleep. But I have a feeling, yeah, yeah, I have a feeling Baltimore will clean it up. We'll get to the picks in a minute.
Speaker 2I don't know We'll actually get to those now. So let's shoot the shot. Let's see what we got. We got week two coming up. Do we want to go over our predictions from last week? I think we do.
Speaker 3You want to be a stats guy. I think yeah. I'm going to be the addition to this here podcast. Just like the one guy during COVID with the glasses in the board on NBC, it was like here's the issue and now he's doing whatever on ESPN. I don't remember his name. I know what he looks like Not really, but kind of. Do you know who I'm talking about?
Speaker 2You look like that guy.
Speaker 3He's the one guy at the place that one time you know who I'm talking about. You look like that guy. He's the one guy at the place that one time you know who I'm talking about.
Speaker 2Yeah, he knows yeah, his name.
Speaker 3No, no but we'll figure it out.
Speaker 2Maybe for next epi we'll figure it out.
Speaker 3Stat guy yeah. The stat guy Stat guy so pretty impressive.
Speaker 2So overall For week one, pretty impressive For a bunch of schmeckles that really don't know what we're doing. We're just here having fun and uploading this stuff. I think week one I think we did okay.
Speaker 3We had a cup of coffee playing hockey. Yeah, sure, it was high school cup. Yeah, some different but unrelated. Yeah, it wasn't football, with jewelry chains riding.
Speaker 2So, overall.
Speaker 3That would just lay me down too much yeah so overall down too much. Yeah, I'd be really slow, I'd be like I can't hold this and my chain would be super fake. I mean, I hit puka shells and it would be like something you'd find on etsy for like 12 or amazon probably now. Anyways, continue I still buy that yeah, continue, but anyway.
Speaker 3uh, so overall we were 63 on all the games um. On average home teams won last week or week one 50% of the overall games. Away teams won 50%. So overall Did you count?
Speaker 2Sign another sign. Did you count the Brazil game as a home game, for whoever was playing? Was it a Chargers?
Speaker 3home game. It was supposed to be a home game for whoever was playing. Was it a Chargers home game. It was supposed to be a home game for the Chiefs Because naturally, Kansas City 2 is in Brazil.
Speaker 2Right, yeah, yeah, I think it's near Branson Exactly, yeah, okay, all right, so keep going.
Speaker 3Yeah, so that was counted as a home game for them. Here's the good news for everyone If you're betting with us and you should, because you're listening probably laughed a couple times and said man, they're an idiot, You're probably looking on Amazon and buying a couple of cheap jewelry stuff which I'd recommend. I'll send you our links. Thursday Night Football our prediction rate 100%. Love it, you don't get that anywhere else, Okay.
Speaker 1Vegas nowhere.
Speaker 3Looking at the fountains nothing. The afternoon games we're talking about the 12 PMers central time, one Eastern. No one's listening on the East Coast. We got some people in India. We got people in Australia, in Australia, chippy.
Speaker 1Talking to you, Spockies.
Speaker 3Anyway, okay, and we're back 75% accuracy on afternoon games. So we start off the week strong. Go from 100, go to 75. Here's where it gets a little frisky. Have a couple pops. Evening games are three o'clockers. We're 50%. Sunday night games 50% accuracy and Monday night football it's. We're going to stay away from those. Wait, no, it was a night game. We went one for two because we got the Sunday night right, that's 50%.
Speaker 1Right, but on a Monday night Not bad.
Speaker 3We only got two games, so one for three on the night games. And honestly, I think that sounds worse than I said. We really pushed like our hearts. We thought we tried really hard. We thought Well, yeah.
Speaker 2We thought the Bears were going to at least come out, which they did, but if you watch, the rest of the game Didn't work in our favor. But anyways, I think that's not bad.
Speaker 3It's not bad. Not bad. A couple other surprises that we didn't expect but did expect. I think it's pretty good coming out of week one.
Speaker 2I do as well the games that we missed. So let's go over that. We picked the Eagles to win. We picked the Chiefs to win just for some voodoo magic, even though when we turned it off, we were all pulling for Chargers.
Speaker 3It was your fault for listening to us.
Speaker 2It's whatever, we didn't think the Raiders would come out and have such a dynamic offense, but the Patriots played like dog shit. We went for the Saints and then suggested, hey, maybe tease the touchdown to plus seven and a half. They lost by seven. So if you were actually listening to us that would have been a win. But we were taking just straight money lines.
Speaker 1Who is going to?
Speaker 2win. Okay, Realistically, everyone's like dude. There's no way I'm playing the Saints. We don't even know who their starting quarterback is at the time. Anyways, the Packers came out and just.
Speaker 3Annihilated.
Speaker 2Oh my God, that game reminded me of the stampede in the Lion King with. Mufasa and Scar. That was just murderous. I didn't think that was going to play out the way it did, and the Lions are going back to Detroit and licking their wounds.
Speaker 3Okay, jordan Love was at the top of the stadium going Simba anything that the sunlight touches is yours. We took the taxes Hold on. And then Matt LaFleur.
Speaker 2We got to go back that uh, yeah, okay, um, we, your turn. We took the texans, even though we did say that we did like stafford, but we thought that texans would come out. They didn't. And then we took the bills. Bills were correct and we, with our hearts instead of our brains, chose the bears. But in our defense, jj mccarthy did come back strong man, he I'm telling you.
Speaker 3I think here was the changing moment.
Speaker 2Here's what I think is the changing moment. Then we'll move on um from our predictions. He got hit in the in the second half in the helmet, so it was a if you saw that referee.
Speaker 2He was looking at all different parts of the camera right, so he was like personal foul, roughing the passer, and then it came back and it was a shot to his head. Yeah, I think we just kind of like knocked him into the NFL and we're like this is how you're going to get hit. And then he literally torched us the rest of the game. Their head coach, great quarterback coach, he threw that pick six across.
Speaker 1He throws the ball across the field.
Speaker 2It goes for 75 yards. He comes back and they pan to the head coach and he like, smacks him on the ass and gives him a thumbs up.
Speaker 3He's like, dude, don't even worry about it knowing like we're going to figure it out out. We think it was an open hand thumb. It might have been going up, might have been maybe felt a little.
Week 2 Game-by-Game Predictions
Speaker 2To the second knuckle maybe, but I like that turning point when we just we popped him pretty good illegally, um, but we kind of knocked him back and welcomed him to the NFL and then he was like, all right, well, if.
Speaker 3I'm in the NFL, I'll just beat the Chicago Bears.
Speaker 2And he did so we will move on. Overall, dude, I think pretty good, pretty good week. I think we did a pretty good week.
Speaker 1I'm going to run through.
Speaker 2Do you have that sheet pulled up? I'll read the games you run with who we're thinking, and then we'll go back to some games and digress a little bit. Thursday night game you got Commanders and Packers. Packers we have the Bills in New York against the Jets.
Speaker 3Buffalo Bills.
Speaker 2Through the table. We have the Giants in Dallas.
Speaker 3Don't be nice if you went and ordered the sheet. Well, I'm going down my list of what's popping here?
Speaker 2I feel like a freaking bottom Just say giddy up, cowboy. Cowboys All right, we got Niners against the Saints. Let me find it on my homework sheet here, 49ers Christian McCaffrey.
Speaker 3Yeah, they still have him.
Speaker 2They're a little depleted, but I think it's going to be too much for New Orleans and the spread's pretty low, minus 4.5. I don't trust that. But if you're playing money lines, play money lines. We got the Browns big spread, intimore. That's plus 11 and a half for the browns. But we're just talking straight who wins? We're picking ravens. Yeah, I think this might be. This might be a game where they come out it could be they're pissed.
Speaker 2Yeah, and they're pissed um knowing that they're one fumble away from being 1-0. Rams in Tennessee against Titans Give me those teeth.
Speaker 3We got the Titans. Oh no, I'm looking at the wrong game.
Speaker 2We have the Rams.
Speaker 3I found it. Oh yes, the Rams we have.
Speaker 2Duval. We have the Jacksonville. I found it. Oh yes, the Rams. We have Duval. We have the Jacksonville Jags in Cincinnati, Bengals. Okay, we're taking the Bengals to go 2-0. Bears in Detroit.
Speaker 3Lions. I think Lions are coming back strong.
Speaker 2Seahawks in Pittsburghsburgh steel curtain baby new england pats. We got another. If I can do a flush noise, can you do a flushing noise? Awesome, that was perfect. Um, we got the pats in miami In.
Speaker 1Miami.
Speaker 2What my? Colleague is trying to say is we just kind of want to avoid it.
Speaker 2To be honest. We wrote down the Patriots and I'm thinking about it. I think he had to take the Dolphins. It might be 1,000 degrees, Right, Humidity has to play. In fact, maybe Tua's seeing things a little bit better. I'm going to change it to the Dolphins. I think they need to come out and do something. I mean, they're sitting minus one and a half. Usually a home team gets minus two and a half. They usually give you winning by a field goal. Are you okay if we change it at all? I don't even want to touch the game.
Speaker 3I'm okay staying away from it. I think you stay away from that one like an ex-girlfriend, yeah, in general.
Speaker 2But for the stat sheet for week three. When we come back, are we going to stick with?
Speaker 3It's going to be an asterisk, we're going to come back and say we had this, but we had this if you want to go Dolphins.
Speaker 2I don't like either the past didn't look good either put Barrington High School let's stick with the Patriots you know what.
Speaker 3America so it's a win win. If we win, it's because we kept it. If we lose, it's because he wants to keep the fish I'll take it.
Speaker 2We got Carolina Panthers in Arizona against the Cardinals, cardinals, cardinals, sitting at minus 6.5. We got Denver Broncos in Indianapolis against the Colts.
Speaker 3That'll be a good game. We're going Broncos. It's a toss-up.
Speaker 2It's a tough one, it's a pick-em. I like it. Eagles and Chiefs in Arrowhead.
Speaker 3We got the Eagles. I'm taking the Eagles Flybirds.
Speaker 2They looked pretty good. I think it'll be tight they're just so big and just strong. Yeah, I mean yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna stick with, I'm gonna stick with the birds um they move the pocket more than a handsy uncle.
Speaker 3Yeah, okay, how you doing pocket pool yeah, it's a great way.
Speaker 2it's a great game. Five minutes to cut that out great game. We got, uh, sunday Night Football. This is in Minnesota, atlanta's coming into town Falcons against the Vikings Vikings. We're taking the Vikings. I think they showed a lot in the second half. But that's also like a game. If I'm sitting there, if I want to have some fun on Sunday night, I'm probably doing a couple of player props and might just stay away from from the spreads and the money lines. And then we have Monday night. We have the Buccaneers come into Houston to play the Texans.
Speaker 3We get the Houston Texans on that one yeah.
Speaker 2I think I think home field plays a part. I think that they lost last week. That plays a part. I want to say some of these offenses figure it out during practice week. So that's what we're going with. Did I miss anything? Right, that was it.
Speaker 1Oh, do we do Chargers?
Speaker 2We do have two games Monday night. Sorry all of our wives, but Monday night is going to be busy. We have the Chargers going to the Raiders in Vegas. We got the Chargers yeah they looked good, they looked good, and I'm a Herbert fan. I like Harbaugh. What's not to like?
Speaker 3They look good. He's ready to go for it in the playoffs.
The Brotherly Bet
Speaker 2Defense looks sharp. I think the Raiders did look good last week against a kind of depleted New England team, even though they did a lot of work for their defense during the offseason. You wouldn't have thought. But we're sticking with the Chargers. Chargers are minus 3.5 right now as away favorites. Good to go, good to go, all right. Let's move on to the brotherly bet. Let's go here, we go, we in honor me and Grant sat here and we sat here for quite a long time probably too long and debated on what we wanted to do, because we're trying to create some victorious legs here.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 2I mean, and after that week we're looking at stuff we're recording on a Tuesday. On a Tuesday there's no player props. Right now we're sitting and we're staring at all all money lines so we're taking teams to win. Yep, and because of grant's beautiful stat sheet, here we are going to flirt only with games that start at what time? Grant noon, that's right. Or if you're listening on the East Coast, 1 o'clock, or if you're listening on the West Coast, 10?, 10?.
Speaker 3Yeah, 10?, and if you're in Hawaii move.
Speaker 1All right.
Speaker 2Let's move on. Okay, so we got all money lines here. Okay, we're taking the Bengals over the Jaguars. Jaguars looked good, so it's a four-legger.
Speaker 3It is a four-legger.
Speaker 1So we're doing? Yeah, let's tell them about four legs Getting too excited.
Speaker 3Why do we got four legs?
Speaker 2You tell me why we got four legs?
Speaker 3Hey, because every once in a while you got to vet right, everyone's got one bad leg.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3Okay, yes, so we're going to tease some stuff.
Speaker 2Thank you for your service. We're going to go, yeah, we're going to go. We're going to go with four legs and because we originally started with three on this podcast, grant was gracious enough to come on to this, so we have four now.
Speaker 3So we are going gonna give it a special week two. We're gonna go with four legs, because guess what? Last week only one out of the three hit it.
Speaker 2Yeah, so so you know what they say if you're less successful, add one more. Yeah, fuck it. Why not? Here we go. Um, we're taking the bangles over the jags. Um, I think the bangles offense looked questionable in comparison to what their preseason looked like. They're sitting minus three and a half and we picked all home teams, so we're riding the home teams.
Speaker 2This week they're playing the Jags. Their defense is questionable, but I think it'll be a little bit more of a high-scoring game. I'm taking the Bengals, we're taking the Bengals, we're taking the Cowboys. Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, throw your boots.
Speaker 2Against the Giants. The Giants looked small. They looked small. Russell Wilson looked very uncomfortable. They're already talking about replacing their quarterback. That's a shamble area right now, when you're in week two and you're already scrambling to figure out who's taking snaps. Cowboys are sitting at minus five and a half for the spread, but if you were listening two minutes ago, we're taking all money lines. So we got a money line there. We're taking the Steelers Now, normally for the Brotherly Bet. We try to stay away from our Chicago team and we try to stay away from our Pittsburgh team, just in case things don't go our way. We don't sit here and hate it more. But you know what, after last week, we're going to let it ride because, guess what? This is a special week, week two.
Speaker 3At least with the Steelers. Yeah For the Bears. We don't trust them. You know what?
Speaker 2And that was tough because they're also not playing at home, but they played at home yesterday and that turned out well, if you watched, you know. Anyways, and our last leg, we are taking the teeth of all teeths, the Los Angeles Rams, and if you remember who are the Rams playing?
Speaker 3That was a money ball Snap. The Rams are playing. This is stalling. I'm stalling more. They're playing the Titans 7-Eleven Tennessee Titans.
Speaker 2They're playing in Tennessee.
Speaker 3In.
Speaker 2Nashville, Tennessee, If you haven't been there, it's a great city and they have great scooters Excellent scooters, you can get all over the place.
Speaker 3Shout out to Sponsored Lime yeah, all over Lime scooter.
Speaker 2I sold $20 on a scooter so we're sitting at Bengals minus 170, cowboys at minus 250, steelers are the lowest, at minus 155, with the shortest or smallest spread, and the Los Angeles Rams are going minus 230. Right now, all together, put them together and what do you get? Plus 424. Okay, so a $10 bet pays you out 52 doll hairs.
Speaker 3Better legs than a full-bodied red. There you go.
Speaker 2Is it sweet, sweet? Is it dry? Eat it with steak pork. It's gone, it's gone it's gone.
Speaker 3No, no fish. Yeah, you could, but I think if you eat, red with fish. Are you drunk?
Speaker 2yeah, what do you do, what do you drink with fish? I don, I'm not a big fan.
Speaker 1Whites. Is it whites, mostly whites, mostly whites? I feel, like it Now look at us.
Speaker 2We're like connoisseurs.
Speaker 3All right, so one more time.
Speaker 2And then we're going to give you something a little special here before we get you out of here. If you're feeling froggy my father would say Feeling froggy which means you got a set on you and you're ready to go we have something called the breakfast bet. So if you play golf and you go out there with your buddies oh, it's a beautiful 8am tea time, oh, the birds are chirping, the sun is out You're away for a little bit, A little bit of an escape. You tee that first ball up and, wouldn't you know it, it goes, yeah, away for a little bit, a little bit of an escape. You tee that first ball up and, wouldn't you know it, it goes, yeah, nowhere where you wanted it to go, right. So if you're with your good friends, one of them probably has a ball in their pocket, right? If you didn't snap your tee off because you hit it so bad, one of them just lightly throw you a ball and they'll say that magic word, breakfast ball, that beautiful phrase which means hey, man, we don't care, we're not betting, Hit another one for your first one. It's a great feeling. It also sucks because you're like shit, I'm already into my breakfast ball, but it's a great feeling when it happens.
Speaker 2We're going to give you four legs that you know what week one was crazy enough. We're going to give you a crazy bet. So we're going to take the Colts' money line, which you know what, against the Broncos. It's possible they're playing in Indianapolis. That's plus 120. Oh wow, it went up. I love it. Since I put it down it's already gone up, which makes it even more of a breakfast bet.
Speaker 1We're taking the Colts.
Speaker 2Now we're flirting with the 3 o'clock games. We're going all over the board here.
Speaker 3We're getting frisky. The lawn is mowed right. Yes, You're on your second Millerky. We're oh the lawn is mowed right. Yes, you're on your second Miller light. Yes, not us, Maybe Amy, yes, but yes, it's frisky time.
Speaker 2Yes, oh, that's, that's Sure Frisky with the DraftKings. Yes. We'll go with that, we're taking the Buccaneers over the Texans in Houston. So Bucs come out 2-0, Texans drop to 0-2. That's sitting at plus 114. Now we're going all the way to our Thursday night game, which we're 1-0. We're taking the Commanders straight up at plus 150. Now here is where it gets exciting. We're going to go all the way back to Minnesota. How many lakes are in Minnesota?
Speaker 3A thousand.
Speaker 2Isn't it 10,000?
Speaker 310,000. Land of 10,000 lakes. There you go, land of lakes, great butter.
Speaker 2We're taking the Falcons over the Vikings. We sat here. We're like you know what that's possible. The Bears could have pulled something out if they just I mean they also had like 150 yards in penalties.
Speaker 2So, like they shot themselves in the foot a little bit. Michael Penix looked good, he could pull it off. Yep, you know what he could pull it off. Yep, you know what he could do. It. That's at plus 185. Altogether, you're sitting at $32.54. So even a dollar bet gets you $33 in your pocket minus your quarter tax. So you know what you do. You? You want to take the breakfast bet and give it a shot. Great If you don't. Great If you listen to the brotherly bet and you're like I'm not betting those legs at all, guess what? Thanks for listening.
Speaker 1Great, it's your money.
Speaker 2We're not going to tell you how to spend it. We're not going to tell you what to win. We're here for entertainment.
Speaker 3Sometimes you hit the ball off property and you can't find it so you've got to hit something, so you've got to breakfast bet.
Speaker 2So one more time, brotherly bet is Bengals minus 170, cowboys minus 250, steelers minus 155, and the Rams at minus 230. That's in the plus four shares and in that breakfast bet, colts, bucks, commanders and the Falcons for a fat, fat plus bet. You do, you. You want to throw a couple two-tree out there. Like I said, I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money, anything else.
Speaker 3No, If you want to go to Hawaii next year, yeah sure you don't have to bet this yeah.
Speaker 2Or, if you do, you can go to Paris if this hits, if you put $100 on $100.
Speaker 1I love when.
Speaker 2Tom does this, so since Tom's not here, put $100.
Speaker 3Tom, I did the same thing. If you bet $500 on this, yes, $100 gets you $3,000.
Speaker 2Wild, it's a shot. But you know what? We saw crazier things happen week one. If that's all we got, we can wrap it up. Wrap it up, we're good to go. We appreciate you listening. This is the Brotherly Bet. I'm Jack.
Speaker 3I'm Grant.
Speaker 2And thanks for listening.
Speaker 1Zero regrets. You're locked in with the brotherly bit. Hot takes bold bets Zero regrets. You're locked in with the brotherly bit. Hot takes bold bets zero regrets.
