Okay, I want to talk about burnout for a minute. And I know this is a topic that comes up again and again because I do hear this all the time. I'm just overwhelmed with marketing. I can't keep up. It feels like too much. And I'm going to say something that might feel a little different than what you usually hear. I don't actually think marketing is what's burning you out. I think it's how your marketing is set up. What I've been noticing over the last few years, especially among wedding pros, is that you're not lazy. You are the opposite of lazy. You are doing so many things all the time for everyone. However, you're not inconsistent, you're not bad at marketing, you're simply just doing a lot. You're posting, you're updating things, you're trying to stay visible, you're in front of your clients, you're connecting with vendors, but it all still feels heavy. Like no matter how much you do, it just never feels easier. And I think the real reason it feels like too much is because nothing is actually connected. It's like you post something on Instagram and then it gets lost in the sauce. You post stories, they disappear. You update your website, but it doesn't really change your inquiries. You think I should be on Pinterest. Side note, you should, but it feels like just one more thing for you to have to manage. So everything lives in its own lane, and you're the one holding all of it together in the center. And that part is exhausting. The shift I want you to hear from this episode is burnout isn't coming from how much you're doing, it's coming from the fact that what you're doing isn't building on itself. You are putting in effort, but it's not compounding. And when effort doesn't compound, it always feels heavier than it should. Most of the time, when I look behind the scenes, I see similar things. There's no real home base for your visibility. Messaging changes depending on the platform. Content is being created, but not reused or built on. So every week feels like starting over or from ground zero. And when you're constantly starting over, of course you're tired. Because here's the part that no one really says out loud when your marketing feels heavy to you, it usually feels unclear to your audience too. If your message shifts, if your visibility is scattered, if your content doesn't reinforce the same idea over and over, people don't know what to associate you with. And when that's unclear, your inquiries are going to feel inconsistent. What I've seen make the biggest difference isn't doing less, it's deciding more. Deciding this is what I want to be known for. This is where my visibility lives. This is how my content connects to each other. When those decisions are made, everything else gets lighter because you're not guessing anymore.
