Snow Depth, Frostbite, and Hypothermia

Did you know that female dogs and short-legged dogs are more prone to snow dangers than male dogs? Female dogs have to squat to pee and the short dogs don't have a chance to get above deeper snow. All dogs' tender undersides are susceptible to frostbite and hyperthermia.
