Friar Time

S2 E4 • Climate Change

The Franciscan Friars Season 2 Episode 4

Albert Einstein once said, "Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind."

Today, FRIAR TIME will unite these two distinct ways of understanding the world as we explore a subject that has global implications, Climate Change.

Join me and Br. Jimmy Kernan as we discuss the impacts our changing climate has on our environment, and what we can do to stem the tide of global warming.

Br. Jimmy teaches a course at Siena College on Energy Systems and Environmental Impacts that gets his students thinking, talking, and ready to act. He is also an effective lecturer in the college’s Department of Physics and Astronomy.

How can our industries and energy sources adjust to ensure a healthy climate in the future?

Should we leave the world’s climate issues to scientists?

It’s FRIAR TIME, let’s start talking!

Get your mind thinking and spirits soaring on Franciscan TV, where you’ll find UPLIFTING TV for EVERYONE. EVERY DAY.
