Joya Sosnowski
Rev. Joya Sosnowski is a spiritual teacher, sound healer, skeptical mystic, and grieving mother. After the death of my 18-year-old son, Weston, grief dismantled everything I thought I knew about life, death, identity, faith, and who I was. What emerged was not a return to the woman I had been, but an awakening into deeper, soul-centered aliveness.
On Grieving Awake, I share conversations, spiritual insight, brain science, somatic practices, meditation, and the wisdom I have gathered from living inside loss without abandoning myself, my heart, or my connection to Love. This is not about bypassing pain, finding a silver lining, or becoming “better” because someone of loss. It is about remaining awake, present, and open to what is real.
Together, we explore what grief does to the brain, body, identity, relationships, and spirit, and how to meet it with radical acceptance, self-kindness, non-resistance, and courage.
