Creating Digital-Age Learning Ecosystems with Heather L. Rubin, M.S. Ed.

Heather Rubin is an Administrative Coordinator for the New York State Education Department’s Long Island Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (L.I. RBERN) at Eastern Suffolk BOCES where she provides technical assistance for K-12 school districts on meeting the needs of multilingual learners. Her academic interests include: designing digital-age learning ecosystems for in-person, hybrid, and remote learning environments; and promoting culturally responsive-sustaining education practices for English learners, including those students who have limited literacy and little exposure to formal education (SLIFE students).
