Imbolc, one of the ancient Celtic fire festivals, marks the sacred midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It is a time when the first stirrings of life awaken beneath the frozen earth, when the light begins its steady return, and when the promise of renewal can be felt even in the heart of winter.
