Abraham Hamra
Abraham Hamra is a Syrian-Jewish ex refugee. He’s an attorney, activist, and influential voice for the Sephardic and Mizrahi Jewish communities. As a child, he fled Damascus with his family in the early 1990’s, as one of the last Jewish refugees from Syria. Years later, Abraham built a successful legal career in New York, where he now serves as Managing Partner and Chief Growth Officer at the immigration firm Cohen, Tucker & Ades. Beyond the courtroom, he has become a powerhouse in digital advocacy, using his fluency in Hebrew, Arabic and English to bridge cultural divides, combat antisemitism, and challenge global misconceptions about Jewish identity and Middle Eastern history.
