Leat Corinne Unger spent over 500 days as a prominent advocate for hostage families, shifting from her career in education and humanitarianism after her cousin, Omer Shem-Tov, was taken from the Supernova Music Festival on October 7, 2023. Leat traveled globally, speaking at the UN and meeting world leaders to campaign for his release and the release of all hostages. Omer was released from captivity on February 22, 2025.
