SHEDDING SKINS - Q + A
In this episode I answer some listener questions on all things astro.
To dive deeper into the chart of your child, this workshop, Psychic Kids, is a great place to start. Otherwise, I have specific readings for children's charts with the link below. My final spaces for readings in 2024 are now in the schedule.

Hi, how are you? Her heavy and good. Uh, scope your season so far. This week, I thought. I thought I would answer some of your questions. Which I have in front of me. Faya. Uh, Instagram. So let's just dive straight. Straight in. Can you give us any rituals or. Or actions we should take for the rest of Scorpio season. Yes. One that I've been thinking about. And. One that I've just been recommending to some of the. Legends inside the poles of Venus and Layla's costs. Is. Really. To Ana. The skin. that you've shared. Scorpio. Scobie is, I mean, Scobie. He is just so complex and excellent and brilliant. And. You can really play it. Like an absolute dark Lord. Or. Just an incredible MEJ. And I think it can be a really fine line. And. When I think of Scorpio. I think of the snake. Which. Which really grows into the fullness. of itself. And then at some point, very naturally. Outgrows that particular expression of its identity. City and needs to shed the skin to make way for a new one. And so what I've been thinking about, and it's probably also because. I've been looking at. These day of the dead celebrations. Uh, is to honor. Your own skins. Whether. It's the skins of this year or on your own heroes or heroines? Rowan's journey so far. To honor all the different forms. And identities and expressions that you've taken, because I think we can really. Really. Continue to look forward. To the next. Next. What's the next iteration or what's coming. Up next versus turning around and looking back and going like, wow. Look at all the expressions I've had so far. Look at all the life. I've moved through and experienced. So far. So I think that would be a beautiful thing to do. I do. To honor this time because we really are. It is such a natural time period, too. To essentially. Reflect and pick up all these. Parts of ourselves and turn them over, you know, we're looking. Looking we're making sense. And by doing that, we're making a lot of space. Within ourselves. And yeah, to look backwards and go. And to put them on an alter. You know, to me, I just keep sort of seeing this. The visual of like literal snake skins. On an. Altar. Really paying homage. Too. All of your form. Forms so far. Not just, where am I going to next? Next question. What to look to in the chart to play out the full expressions of your signatures, i. e. Venus slash Sun. It's really the whole chart. You are the entirety of your chart. One of the ways that I think about it is it's like each placement in your chart, each planet or asteroid or energy point, is like an aspect of your psyche. And so, When you're able to bring consciousness to all of those parts or as I was just saying to like pick them up and Turn them over and have a look and feel into them and then look at how you're expressing them Based on what the energy is and where in your chart it falls and what sign does it want to be expressed through? That's really it. It's a process of bringing light and life consciousness to all of it. This is one of the processes that we do in astrology school and level one. And yeah, I think it's a really potent exercise. So what I would recommend is certainly having a chart reading from somebody that whose work that you dig, you know, whose work that you align with. I wouldn't recommend going to anyone who is, fearmongery or talks about astrology in a way where it's like, Ooh, that's a good placement or Ooh, that's a bad placement. You don't want any of that stuff. but then I guess, yeah, if you are doing research at home, I would look at your chart and be like, okay, where is there anywhere where there's one house or one archetype that's got a lot of energy here? Like, sorry, a lot of planets here. And then I'd research that. Because that's a direction that you've come here to explore, very naturally. Next question. I had a rage girl year, with all this fire slash Aries energy. What's coming up as the next theme? Well, Let's just talk about that because with the nodal axis, the south node has been in Libra and the north node has been in Aries since July of 2023. And it's there until January 11 next year 2025. So we're in the last two months of this experience, and I would highly recommend reflecting on that time period. If Libra. or Aries are strong archetypes for you, especially Libra, you know, cause we're really undergoing, this exorcism of anywhere where we're not saying the thing where we're eating the words that we want to say in order to keep some kind of harmony, short term harmony, anywhere we're being like the nice girl. And the antidote for a lot of people has been moving into Rage, anger, their fire, because when you don't say the thing, it doesn't evaporate. so with this North Node in Aries, it's really attuning us to our instincts and our fire. So it's a brilliant time to be accessing that, and it might be screaming into a pillow, you know, like banging your arms against, I don't know, a cushion or Taking up boxing lessons. When I was a teenager, I did boxing as a form of cross training for the other stuff that I did. And it was amazing, you know, to be a ragey teenage girl and get to be able to beat the shit out of something every Monday night. It was brilliant. I highly recommend it. so yeah, and what's coming up next, I'm going to speak into that, a lot, it's going to move into the south node is going to move into Virgo. So I think what part of what we're going to be exercising is layers of stress, our layers of stress that could be ancient or could be from last week. You know, it's really looking at anywhere where we're too busy. We're making ourselves stressed and consumed with What we have to do, but not taking any effective, clear action towards those things. Perfectionism, analysis paralysis, sort of numbing, eviscerating self critique. These kind of things are coming under the pump. But right now, I would just highly recommend for all of you, where are you receiving opportunities to communicate very directly with somebody? Whereas, In the past, you would have avoided that. And take those opportunities. Something that I say to clients and even just with myself, it's like if I have to say something uncomfortable and I don't really like confrontation, if my family's listening to that and they say otherwise, but you know, if I have to say something, I know I'm going to feel very uncomfortable. And so I have to lead myself through that experience and bring that part of me that's uncomfortable with me. And then it's like, you know, some of the guys say to Clyde, it's like okay, if you have to say the thing, just be like, alright, cool, we're gonna do this, and then I'm gonna take you out for an ice cream. I'm gonna take the uncomfortable, ugh, I hate conflict part, out for an ice cream afterwards. You know, you have to hold your hand through things. You have to. Shepherd yourself through these things. Well, this is the uncomfortability of adulthood. It's doing hard things and having your own back while you do it. Okay, next question. How to nourish my children's moon signs as a mother. I have a workshop on this. It'll be linked below. And it's called Psychic Kids. I read for a lot of children. Sorry, I read a lot of children's charts to their parents and personally, it's one of my favorite things. I would, there's a part of me that would just love to have some kind of school for highly sensitive children, for little psychic children. I think that would be amazing. So I would look into the sign that it falls into. what is the moon sign and what house is it in? Cause that's very important because a child is living primarily in their emotional body up until around the age of seven, the moon is very dominant and you'll see the whole personality. You'll see the whole chart from the get go, being able to provide nurturance to that moon specifically is a wonderful thing to be able to. offer your kid or your children. I would look at what, what are the tenants of this sign and then thinking about it through the lens of the moon, which is emotional nurturance. What makes a child feel emotionally safe and secure? So it's looking at how can I nourish this child? How can I make them feel emotionally safe and secure based off of their moon sign? I would look at whole parts of the chart, but that's a brilliant place to start. And I'd recommend, yeah, getting a reading for your child. Because it just allows you, it's like, it's like the instruction manual, their instruction manual. For more information visit www. FEMA. gov And, I mean, look, I looked up my child's chart about ten minutes after having them. Of course, I'm an astrologer, I was just so innately curious. But it provides so much information for you, which is so helpful. You know, how does their mind work? How can you best communicate to them? How can you make them feel safe? And then, where we can help them to regenerate their energy And the house can be a part of that as well. My child has a fifth house moon So it's self expression. It's creativity, you know, so it's having these tools on hand It's helpful, you know Helping them to um, um, Emotionally regulate by providing them these outlets so they can have those experiences and grow that muscle and consciously is very, very helpful. And then the moon is also linked to their intuitive self. So the more that you can hold up that mirror, especially as they mature. You know, maybe they have a strong instinct. Maybe it's a fire moon or maybe there's more of a clear cognizance with an air moon, whatever it is, noticing how they work intuitively and energetically and emotionally and reflecting that back to them, making it part of the conversation. So it's part of their conscious awareness from the beginning. That's the gold. last question. how to know if you're evolving past your astrological quote unquote karma or looping slash staying small? well, I would say if similar archetypes or personality traits are presenting themselves in your world. You know, through other people, drawing in similar types of people, or playing out similar dynamics, or playing, repeating particular patterns. If there's repetition at play, it's there so you can change the course, right? But if it's showing up again, then it suggests, okay, there's more learning here. When I think of Saturn Returns, it, it's, um, It, I don't know, it just reminds me of that when I think of a Saturn return or Saturn energy, it's like, cool, I don't care if you intellectually get anything, show me how you understand, show me how this is embodied knowledge. So one way of saying that is a pattern comes up and I choose differently, I play it differently, or a pattern comes up. I had one earlier in the year where a particular dynamic came up. And rather than me going into my default, which is, Oh, it's cool. I won't say anything. I was like, no, no, I can feel how I am feeling. And there's a lot of information here. And rather than me suppressing that or bypassing that, I'm going to sit with those feelings and understand what their messaging is. And then I'm going to make decisions based off of that. And it was a brilliant experience. Not necessarily the outcome that I wanted, haha, but brilliant in terms of building self respect. So, I would be looking at that, and it's similar to what I said even with the Libran stuff. If a situation is popping up that gives you the opportunity to say something, or to act in a way where you usually wouldn't, to be direct, rather than subversive, or passive aggressive, or avoidant, take it. Do it with grace, but take it. So, yeah, that's how I'd answer your question, mate. What is repeating itself? And why? Is there an opportunity to evolve it? Alright, well that's it. That was nice and short and sweet. I liked it. I'm gonna incorporate. more of this I think into episodes. I'm still figuring out what the juice is. I have some of my first interviews lined up, which I'm very excited about. I think they'll probably start next year, but we'll see how it goes. We'll see what the plan is. Hope you all have a great week and see you next week.
