THERE'S ALWAYS MORE THAN WHAT YOU KNOW; ELEMENTAL SHIFTS & JUPITER IN GEMINI
Today we talk about this interesting grand fire trine in the sky, Jupiter in Gemini and one of the exciting (to Me) changes happening in the astrology of 2025, a big elemental move.
I am holding a workshop this coming Sunday December 15th at 10am aedt on the Astrology of 2025. You can buy a ticket here.

Hey, how are you? This week, there's some interesting stuff going on, which I'm going to speak about. I'm going to touch on one of the very interesting things to do with the astrology of next year as well, which is this great shift in elements, which I'm pretty stoked on personally. December feels so nice. It's a really distinct. change for me at least between November, this November and December. I really love this time of year, not just because there's something very ritualistic about December or late December, but it's more this Sagittarian and then Capricornian energy, which really is looking deeper, looking forward, beginning to contemplate and carve out the stretch of time. That is ahead of us this week. There's something very interesting going on. Just been looking at the chart and there's this grand fire trine that's taking place. A grand trine is when there are three or more planets that are all 120 degrees away from each other. So there's three or more making a, Triangle. And they're always in one element. And right now, it's very much to do with fire. We've got this retrograding Mercury here in Sagittarius. We have this retrograding Mars here in Leo. And then we have our north node, which is also moving backwards. The nodes move backwards. In Aries, Mars. Uh, it's a very tight trine. This is interesting because all of fire is about action and, and it's about expression. You know, as an element, fire is something that's come here to be utilized and expressed, moved through the body, physically, or through, some form of expression. We never hold on to fire or it's not advised. So there's a lot of reflection or there's the possibility for a lot of reflection taking place around action I would almost say it's this time of looking at the action that we have or have not taken this year. I'd say it's also about looking at is the action that we've taken associated with things that actually bring us meaning further to what I was saying last week. Because the North node in Aries is also a part of the mix. something that I've been contemplating for the last couple of years with regards to the astrology that's taking place in the, in the sky, what's happening now and has been happening for the last couple of years and continues next year is yes, instinct, which I mentioned last week, our primal instinct, really beginning to notice more of this thing that is with and for us all of the time, which we can very easily supersede with our mind. But it's also looking at the force of your will, your willpower and taking action that is, in line, aligned. With where you're wanting to actually go. There's so much Cerebral data and visual data. There's so much that's taking up the mind. there's so much that's really Pushing us towards states of dissociation and I think with all of this fire here. It's making us aware of where our attention is actually going, where our energy, where our action, where our intention is actually going. Because it's the north node as well, the medicine lies here. The magic is in the higher expressions of this archetype, which in Aries is, I know what my wants, my needs are and desires are, it is a primal magnetic knowing that pulls me forward like a magnet. Towards the things that I want, and I initiate the action that takes me into those places. Part of what this dissociative, cerebral overload, social media, screen time world does, is it can breed this level of false productivity. Which I'm sure you've all felt, I certainly have. Having a scroll isn't doing work, for example. So right now there is this reflection, which is also because it's retrograding Mars, it's retrograding Mercury. There's this reflective energy that's looking at the action that I've taken this year or that I haven't, which sometimes is more important, both because it's telling, or it can be very telling. Do I feel remorse that I didn't do more here? Or am I stoked that I didn't do that? I didn't put my energy here this year. So that's a part of the mix. The other thing that I wanted to speak to is this great opposition right now. And actually it plays in very beautifully with this Grand Fire Trine because it's sextiling the North Node. It's sextiling Mars and it's opposing Mercury which is Jupiter here in Gemini. Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius and the Ninth House. Jupiter is this beautiful, expansive energy. Jupiter is also Zeus. It's the big dog. And it's here in Gemini where it's been since May and will be until May next year, 2025. There's this curiosity, which is the medicine of Sag. Sagittarius in its less attractive, but necessary. stages can be very judgmental or dogmatic, you know, it's like, Oh, I found this thing. as a ninth house person, I've done this so many times. It's always a bit cringy to look back on, but it was very important in the stepping stones to become or anchor into more of who I am, which was essentially having these things where I found them ways of living philosophies, and they were so fundamental and helpful for me and transformative for me that I assumed I needed to tell everyone else about them. Or it became like the way or the truth with capital T's versus my own experiment that worked well for me. It became a thing that needed, that everyone needed to know about. I'm sure we've all had those experiences, whether it was being a vegetarian or a Hare Krishna or so many, so many things. so that can really be, it's funny because Sagittarius is this very broad vista. It's this wide horizon where multitude of living or ways of living are possible. Which is true, right? There's always more than what you know, which is a very important thing to remember. The less exciting expression of this sign makes, it, it really brings in that broad horizon and makes it dogmatic and tiny. And, like, it's my way or the highway. It becomes, like, fundamentalism. I'm a vegetarian so everyone has to be a vegetarian, for example. I'm a vegetarian. My way of being is working for me. So that means it has to be supplanted onto everybody in my reality. This kind of stuff is so limiting. It's so dorky. It's just neophyte stuff, you know, neophytes being the beginning stages of something. I remember when I first, moved to India to this, religious compound and I was a neophyte. I was new. And I was hanging around a group of fellow neophytes, and one of the things that made it so obvious that we were is because after each lecture that my genius, genius teacher would give us, we would go and eat our kitschery and debate the smallest things of what he was saying. You know, we were trying to prove to each other that we got it, Or that we got it more than the other person got it, you know, so super, super lame. And then I went to this other part of India where a lot of adepts live. People have been doing this, had been doing the work that I was doing then for decades and they were so chilled out. They never got involved in any of these kind of disputes or debates. They were living the way they weren't theorizing the way. And they had. Received, or experienced the medicine of living the way, so there was no need to really ram it down anybody's throat. They were just in their own experience of it, and it was such a vast, it was just so different to how it was in Mayapur, Dham, this other place that I was living. And I just think about that a lot, I see that so much, you know, it's pretty obvious when people come to something new. And it, it makes sense, you know, it's like you, you want to communicate that thing or talk about that thing. And yeah, with Jupiter in Gemini, it's opening our sense of reality, our sense of meaning, our way of living, what we apply meaning to into this vast, huge buffet of life, which is what Gemini in a, in its, one of its more beautiful senses represents. Gemini can hold multiple viewpoints at once without needing to bring fire to the occasion, you know, which Sagittarius can, being a fire sign. Gemini is air. It's logical, there's rationality, there's a coolness there. A coolness in the sense of it doesn't need to tell you what it believes, it can just hold and observe many multiple viewpoints. Thanks. There's so much magic in that, and it's so, I think, important in this particular epoch of our time where there's lots of neophytes who are chit chatting all the time very loudly on the internet, and a lot of people can feel their passion and mistake it for knowledge or wisdom, you know. So Jupiter in Gemini, It's asking us to ask questions. It's asking us to, I to contemplate like, okay, what, is there any kind of dome? What are the echo chambers that I live in? Or from a visual standpoint, are there any kind of like glass domes hanging over the atmosphere of my being and what lies beyond them? What ways of seeing and knowing and understanding reality? The beauty of this place, the opportunity to be in time and space as a cognizant being. There's just, we're being, we're being opened up to more of a manifold multitudinal, if that's a word, understanding of things, which for me as a Gemini is my idea of a good time. and it's interesting for any of you who are Gemini's, Or for any of you who have strong planets, like your Mercury, your Sun, your Moon, your Ascendant in Gemini, then this last six months will have been quite interesting for you. It's certainly been interesting for me because it's moved over my Sun and then it retrograded back, back over it. And now it's, it's still conjunct, but it's about to move forward, in the coming months. And for me, because it's going over my Sun. How it's played out is as very necessary and important, Let's say an existential period, where for me personally, I just had to basically pick up everything in my life and address it in the present moment and and ask myself if it was still bringing me a sense of meaning. Because these things, as I'm sure you know, they change, they evolve. So for me, that's when I started my sub stack, started this podcast. reconfirmed my distaste of social media. and just, yeah, started to look at my outer life as well. For me, the reason I started an astrology business is a, because it's something that's just so natural and resonant to me. I love how broad this is. This isn't a preaching thing. This is about you as an individual and giving. somebody the experience of getting to like swim in the beauty of who they are for an hour, you know, it's very freeing. But the reason that I got into this was also so that I could buy myself time. to pursue my own creative endeavors and also had a son at the same time that I went full time in this. And four years later, I've just realized like I need to pull in more of the things that light me up, which is my own creativity and self expression outside of astrology. You know, I'll always have astrology. I'll always do it. I have so many plans and desires for it, but It was just in this existential excellence. I was able to see that very clearly. And right now, because Mercury, our kind of collective mind, which is in this reflective space, it's opposing Jupiter and Gemini. it feels like it's opening us up to this remembrance that there is always more than what you know. Where it's like, okay, if I have a day of contemplation or even an hour of contemplation, what other paths are there? Is this path that I'm on completely feeding me? How can I bring in these new, let's say river ways or streams into this thing that I'm doing to feed me more and more. I think that's part of what's happening. On Sunday. I'm holding my workshop on the astrology of 2025 and I've called it all new juice because it is all new juice. It's hard to underline and bold and like emphasize enough. Just how interesting. And different next year is compared to all the years of astrology that I've been looking at the year ahead. It's wildly different. And the one thing that I wanted to touch on, well, just to give you a sense, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto will all be in new signs next year. Saturn's changing signs. Jupiter will change signs, which are our social planets. So the collective and the social planets all changing. Mars and Venus. Mercury always does, but all three personal planets will retrograde. That's very strange or interesting for them all to happen in one year. So you can get a sense of that's like kind of like everything on the board there is changing signs. That's wild or it's retrograding. There's these huge shifts or focus points that keep taking place. But what I wanted to touch on was, you know, There's a big elemental change that's happening next year. And with these collective planets, they're going from water and earth into fire and air. Fire and air always work beautifully together. Water and earth always work beautifully together. You can even just feel like, with water and earth together, it's very fertile. You can plant beautiful things, you can grow incredible things. during that time, but maybe you can feel the sense of pace. It's slower. It's more, let's say, earthbound. Things take their natural time, whereas when you put fire and air together, they excite each other. They feed off each other. It's very, very quick. It's idea. It's action. It's thought to thing. It's super fast. And On one hand, it's also very impulsive. So this is something that I'll be talking to people about on Sunday. Again, I've been saying this for the last several years in these end of year talks, but discernment is absolutely key and being able to run things through your own body and get a sense of what your senses are telling you about the information that you're taking in or the, the. change that you want to make or the new thing that you want to do. I think a lot will happen. There'll be a lot that's able to happen. It feels like a freeing up of energy. It's a quickening that I think is very exciting, but it requires us to, let's say, pay attention to exactly what's happening in a week like this, where these huge, this trine, all three elements Sorry, planetary parts that make up this grand fire trine are retrograding. It's making us look at what is the action I'm taking and why am I taking it? For the first two months of next year, just over, Mars will be retrograding. We enter the year with the planet of action moving backwards. That gives us Such an interesting sense of, uh, what to look at or to be cautious of, and I don't mean cautious in a scary sense, but to be conscious of where am I applying my willpower, my intentions, am I taking action that is there and aligned with it? You know, we're in this, again, we're in this beautiful season of The Arrow, and you have to have a precision of foresight. and sight, balance, steadiness, groundedness to effectively pull back a bow and shoot an arrow and get it anywhere near where you're thinking to. You can't just haphazardly do that and you have to practice that over and over and over again to slice through time and space in the exact way that you want to carve it up. And even then, There's always going to be this beautiful element of mystery, but yeah, so there's this change that's happening elementally that I am very excited about and we'll feel the pace. We'll feel the change in pace. Ideas to action is there's a quickening between the two and that requires, I would say diligence, consciousness. I hope you can join me. It's 55 Aussie dollars. If you're listening to this in the future, you can absolutely watch the replay. Everyone will get a PDF too, where I speak to, where I have a little synopsis under each of these big players. Okay. That's it. I'll see you on Sunday, I hope. Otherwise, I'll see you on Sunday. Next, well I won't see you, but you'll hear me next week. Hope you have a great one. Bye.
