Good morning, welcome back to the podcast. Today I want to share with you the mythology of Aquarius and how that relates to the energetics of this season that we've just stepped into. So the sun has just entered Aquarius, where we are for the next 30 days, oftentimes Aquarius is referred to as the water bearer and I guess the main purpose of me recording this podcast this morning is to elucidate on that and to let you know that there's no water in Aquarius's cup, it's consciousness. Okay, so let's get into it. Zeus is such an interesting, wild, decrepit, and also heroic character. He's so wildly, wildly complex. And he's certainly somebody that I'd love to contemplate or understand more from a, uh, a Jungian lens, which I just don't have at this point in time. But the reason that I'm prefacing this story by talking to the complexity of Zeus because he He abducts and treats horribly, Ganymede, the most beautiful mortal on earth. He was the hottest babe on earth in ancient Greece. He was from Troy. His father was said to be the king of Troy. His mother may or may not have had divine origins. She may have been the child of a river god. So there may have been some divine blood in Ganymede. Either way, he was resplendent and the type of beauty that caught The attention of the king of the gods and Zeus abducted him. He shapeshifted into a bird, which I think was an eagle. To me, I always associate Aquarius with an eagle, which I'll explain. But it's said that he transformed into this large bird, which may or may not have been an eagle, and And took Ganymede from earth into the divine realms up to Mount Olympus where he became Zeus's consort. I don't think willingly at first, which is where it just, it, I don't know. There's, to me, there's tragedy. There's a lot of tragedy in this story. Because this man was taken against his will and deeply, deeply taken advantage of by the ultimate authority of the known cosmos at that time. he became the cup bearer to the gods. He wasn't pouring drinks for the gods. It's not like he was just waiting tables in Mount Olympus and filling up everybody's cup. It's not that at all. What's Ganymede, which then became Aquarius, what he was pouring were waves of consciousness which move through air. Ideas, thoughts, are transported through air, through ether, and Aquarius is this super highway of ideas. It's where there are, it's where ideas live. It's on these mental planes in these planes of consciousness, the ethers that many of us, all of us have the capacity to tap into. You know, we could say it's where ideas come from. Some people are highly attuned to receiving the first waves of these. ideas or consciousness as it hits, you know, there's some people that I'm sure you know, or maybe you are yourself, where you get to the thing way ahead of the curve, whether it's an idea, a way of visually expressing yourself, whatever it is, long before it becomes That foul word, a trend, it's something that these people are able to inhabit and explore and ground through their expression long before everyone else shows up to the party. I think that social media, while it is very much related to Gemini, I think the speed at which it moves. This is, shows us the speed of Aquarius. What I mean by this is Aquarius is also these realms of ideas, but it's also ideologies. It's the realm of the ideologue. And here we can see on social media how quickly an idea is transported, throughout Earth, throughout all the people who are holding the receptacle, the conduit of the phone. It's wild how quickly ideas And, yeah, ideologies move now, you know, it feels like every week there's this new wind or there's this new idea that's pushing into consciousness. Now for a very brief intermission. If you want to spend a couple of months really unpacking more of these mythologies and the archetypes and the elegant poeticness of the language of astrology, then I do have my astrology school opening up, I'll link the waitlist below. It's this school that I created when I reflected on how would I have loved to have learnt this language. And that's what I teach. There's the theory, but then there's the application to your chart, and you'll journey through your chart, as a group, and so you'll get to see so many different types of charts, and how people express them. You'll get to hear their real life Understanding an experience of their chart and, and to be able to, have that experience of seeing the difference and the uniqueness and the different expressions is really an amazing way to learn this language. What I wanted to talk about was how to utilize an archetype. Like Aquarius, since we have just stepped into this experience of it and we're living in this realm for the next 30 days. While the mind right now, Mercury is still in Capricorn, which I think is fabulous because there's, there's practicality. There's a grounding principle there. Aquarius is deeply ungrounded and like all of the air signs benefits wildly from being grounded. Again, because it is conduit energy, you know, it's like if you think of lightning, which also makes me think of Aquarius a lot, when lightning strikes, if you're not grounded, it will just completely fry you. And the level at which these ideas or transmissions can, arrive to a If they're not grounded, then it will play out as things like anxiety or feeling completely wired or fried. So the eagle. When I'm thinking of Aquarius, part of its magic is it brings in a whole new way of seeing things. I think this is also why in pop astrology it's often associated with people being different or people being unique or people being individuals in the realm of Aquarius. It's because their POV is often wildly different when you think of the eagle, It is flying so high up in the sky and its point of view is topographical. It's so vastly, vastly different to the point of view that you have when you're in your body looking ahead. Like you can only pick up so much. Even if you have a wide periphery, you can only see it, see things from the ground, which means that you Compared to a topographical viewpoint, you're missing a huge amount. What you can't see when you're in the thing often is the pattern or the patterns that are taking place. From a topographical point of view, pattern recognition, super, super obvious. And this is part of the Let's say claircognizant magic of a sign like Aquarius. It's deep claircognizance. It is things like telepathy. it's this ability to utilize or, receive and ride these first waves of consciousness. And in saying this, I'm not saying that this is what Aquarians do. We all have this archetype in our chart. This lives within the fabric of all of us. Some of us may have a lot of energy here by way of planets, or it may take place in strong parts of our chart. What I love about, and there's many things, but what I love about Aquarian season is because it comes after Capricorn, which is, you know, this architect, we've just cultivated our blueprints. for the year. We've looked at the terrain, we've kind of carved out this mountain that is this year ahead that we want to climb or parachute down onto, however you want to arrive there. And now as we go into this month of incredible clear cognizance and this eagle eye topographical viewpoint, we get to see the terrain and those blueprints from a much more grand context. So how can you utilize that? How will you utilize this season ahead? How do you want to play with this energy? That's really all I have for you today I just wanted to drop in and talk about Ganymede and talk about Aquarius and the Eagle and to announce to you That we are in this territory now where We're more aware of or have more access to let's say these waves of consciousness You the realm of ideas, the realm of the download, for example.
