Hello, I feel like today's episode is, it's like I have a vlog and I'm telling you what I've been up to. Don't worry, there's astrology embedded within it, but it feels a little bit more conversational in a monologue sense. I've been up for so long. We had a tradesman come here for a small job at like 6. 30 and I went down to the beach. After to have a little dip, I never like swim in them. I'm pretty scared of sharks, it's so transcendent to be in the morning sun and in that fresh water. a few episodes ago, I talked about this North Node in Pisces and how the higher echelons, the higher experience of Pisces is in a very grounded sense, having transcendent experiences. and I've noted that one of the Pisces that I know who is Just an acquaintance. I don't know him very well. Since the 1st of January, going to the beach for sunrise and having a swim, which is such a brilliant example. And as a pie, as he is a pie scene, it's like, what a beautiful example of a daily experience of something that is so incredibly transcendent and also grounding, which is literally just watching the sunrise and getting to have a morning bath in the ocean. Before, when I spoke about this, I didn't have that many pie scenes. examples. I was more like, you know, it's like experiencing infinity. and I think this is a really good example. This weekend was the opening of enrollment to the wait list for astrology school and 11 absolute legends joined in those first hours, which was so cool. It's certainly what I had hoped for, but to see it play out, you know, it was just, yeah, so exciting. I can't wait to start teaching this because it, it will be the sixth time that I've run this course. I am making some alterations to it. To make it even more, I guess, fertile. And there's something tangible that I'm working on to go with it, which I'm really excited to see unfold. I'll mention more of that once I know that it's real and it's happening. Uh, and because we had such a great opening and so many people have joined the wait list, in this last week, especially over the weekend, I am creating a new early bird special that will last for the next week. So if you join the wait list, and for those of you who have just joined the wait list or are on there, you'll get another email from me with this second and final early bird special. I have certainly been experiencing the left of field energy of Aquarius, ruled by Uranus. It is this energy which certainly expands the mental plane or our sense of what is possible. And at the same time, it can just be these sudden happenings that seem to come out of nowhere. And one of those happened to me just after I finished recording this podcast, I went to pick up my child and I opened the door and And said hi, he said hi, and then he had a little gun, one of those Nerf guns, and he shot it, and the, the bullet of this toy gun went into my eyeball, into my right eye, and it was excruciating, and I was so worried. I couldn't open my eyes for like 10 15 minutes. I think I just went into full shock and I was so worried that my eye had just exploded and it was a public holiday. So it was just, yeah, a complete, change in what the plan was. Obviously I hadn't planned for that to happen and had to go to hospital. and now my eye is fine. Well, it's, it can't, it's still can't see as clearly. There's not, it's not 2020 in that eye compared to the other eye. So that was bizarre. And the reason that I'm bringing that up is the day before I had this visual in my mind where my child was like shooting a toy bow and arrow at me and I saw myself as this, I don't know, it sounds like I'm in the matrix or a martial arts expert, but I just deflected all of these arrows with such like fast reaction, precision, energy. And then within 24 hours of that, I had the experience where I just wasn't far. I mean, I didn't even have, I couldn't even think before it had happened. So I certainly didn't deflect it, but that's just so, this is a great example. This happens to me a lot, and I'm sure it happens to a lot of you too. You have this vision. This, which feels like you're just daydreaming and it's really random. Like, why would I be thinking of that? And it is this sort of pre sentience. Like, here's a timeline which may play out, and it will play out in a different way, but the juice is deflection. The juice is quick reaction time. Stay on your feet. Stay on your toes. Be hyper aware, you know, of the kid. So I wanted to say that because I know a lot of you, a big thing that I love to work with people on. is validating how their intuition works. And this is an example of it. And interestingly, my child's dad had a thought process the day before as well, where he saw the toy gun, which I think must have been a Christmas present from somebody else, And he said, wow, that could really do a lot of damage that could really hurt somebody's eye and thought to get rid of it. Isn't that amazing? It's like this stuff is happening all the time. To me intuition, a lot of the time is subtle data in order to be able to pick up subtle data. You have to have groundedness in a quiet. And be connected, like, be able to hear these things, because they're playing out all the time. and if we're not conscious, if we're not in our body, and we're not present, then, you know, these things will, they'll just quickly go into the unconscious. You know, we won't spend time going, Ooh, what's that? why is this information coming through to me? with the North Node now being in Pisces. And this week it is still conjunct Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, and this week it's also conjunct Venus, which is so beautiful. Part of what will really be available or heightened over the next 18 months is the intuition that moves through Piscean ways, which is certainly clairsentience. But it's also clear visioning. It is our dreams, our daydreams, the information that we receive through our imaginarium. And the other way that Pisces and Neptune communicates in an intuitive sense is when we get those full body tingles, or we get those spidey senses at the back of our skull. So that's something to be aware of. You always have access and can always grow all of the tingles. Intuitive abilities that are available a hundred percent. They're literally just muscles, you know, or not literally, but the, the muscles that the more you're using them, the more you're validating them, the more you're conscious of them, the more that you are able to grow in trust with them and, and utilize them. And even if you're not using them, it is still communicating to you. You're still receiving this Intel. Uh, it's more of a, about training your, let's say inner ear or inner senses to, be able to work with these things. Something that happened in the last week was the passing of Marianne Faithfull. And for those of you who don't know who Marianne was, she was just super cool. She was a musician, a singer and actress and just a strong character. Such a fierce individual. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger wrote their first song for Marianne. They shared the same manager. And she started writing. dating Mick. When I was 14, I read her autobiography called Faithful, which I highly recommend. If you're somebody who's into the 60s and like counterculture world, it's a brilliant read. It's a really, really brilliant read. And I was in year 8 or year 9 when I read that. And I've read it so many times. I was deeply obsessed with, especially London in the 60s, and then California in the late 60s. It was just something that I was so deeply, deeply drawn to. Maybe as somebody who has a South Node in Aquarius, you know, understanding or being made aware of countercultures at a young age, you know, pre internet, understanding that there are so many Well, there have been so many examples of different ways to live was very, very, very appealing to a personality like mine. I got to see her perform when I was either 15 or 16. My mom and stepdad very kindly bought us tickets and we were in the front row and it was so exciting. And she walked out, there was a little table set up and she walked out, sat down and had a cup of tea. She came out like a lady, and then she'd sing songs like, Why Do You Do It? Which I'm not going to go into, but listen to that song. You know, it's like she says everything. Like, she could swear with the best of them, and her mercury is in the eighth house. Which is this realm of everything that's, I guess, taboo. Her, her, her voice was there, her mind was there. Uh, and it was just so interesting. It was also like, I don't know, awkward to be sitting in between my parents who, I guess were kind of more on the conservative side, which is cool. And, and then to sit next to them while she sings that song. But is dressed like a lady, is sitting like a lady, is so, you know. Uh, glamorous and yeah, aristocratic and I think for me that dichotomy, or that it's not really a dichotomy, but to me she expanded what could otherwise be seen as a paradox. Like how could somebody who's a lady sing such a savage song with such a beast of a voice. Her voice like dropped a whole octave after her, uh, heroin addiction, like she has such a gravelly voice if you haven't heard it. Yeah, she was just filled with these dichotomies or apparent dichotomies. And again, it's like what she kind of did for me at least was expand what is possible, what's possible of woman, you know, cause she wasn't just the gorgeous muse. It wasn't like this boring 2d thing. She lived and she lived so hard and so deeply and so largely, She just she was so punk and she was so almost like royal in the way that she held herself. And that was cool just to see that and get to experience that was, I don't know, amazing again. It's like one of these amazing templates that got to live in my unconscious from a pretty young age. And so I was just so obsessed with her, really so deeply in love with her. And she was like an icon in my life in terms of aesthetics, but also. the heroicism with which she just carved her own path. And by all accounts, an incredibly difficult diva as well, like so demanding and intense and, you know, can flip the switch and turn on the charm with ease when needed, but is also, I don't know, maybe probably a little bit of a tyrant. Anyway, I've been hanging out with her chart and What's so interesting is that she is a Capricorn She's a ninth house Capricorn. So that energy is highly experiential but working to understand Reality and then she has a Pisces moon when the moon's there on the 12th house, there, it can really escape, it can be so escapist, and being here, being located in your own body, and in present time, again, is, the medicine. And it's so interesting, I was talking to a friend this morning. about this because I personally, I'm just feeling so, so extra grounded this year, which is a wonderful thing. It's a, it's an incredible feeling it, but what I've realized is I think part of it is that I like my life. I'm not, I don't want to be outside of my life. I don't want to be unconscious in my life for days or go out and have a fun night and then be a wreck for many days afterwards. Like, I just don't want that. I really want to be present. It is my natural desire. And you know, that's not me of the 20, my twenties or even a lot of my thirties. So I was talking to my friend about this this morning and she said something really cool. Cause she's noticed that within her close friends group as well, that there is this trading of, she said, escapism for realism, which I love. And I think that's so linked to this nodal axis as well. You know, it's like we can only move into the higher expressions of Pisces when we're very tethered to our body and we're in present time, which is Virgo. We have to have a baseline of discernment and the boundary of being in your own flesh and blood. to be able to access the higher expressions of this Piscean energy. And I think it's also just very helpful to be grounded, while we're in these very, very, very transpersonal collective energies and seasons of Aquarius and Pisces. I've been receiving a lot of, I would say, tests, around money. One of the things, you know, as a sole trader, as somebody who has paid all my own bills for the last almost five years now from my work and as a single parent, what I have been calling in for this year is a beautiful baseline of material and financial stability and stability can sometimes be tricky when you do work for yourself. You know, some, some months are booming and some months, at a baseline and some weeks are plentiful, other weeks are dry. So I have found it, I guess I would say, difficult or tricky to establish this stability and find the, yeah, the stability for myself. I have a brilliant capacity to meet myself wherever I am. So if it's a plentiful week, I'll have a plentiful week. I'll live a plentiful week. And so I have been calling in a lot more of this maturity, I'd say, and practical and like grounded maturity. And so I pay my tax every three months. And over the last year I was paying so much and. It just, it nearly broke me every quarter. And I was so certain that I was going to get money back. And I heard from my accountant at 5 p. m. on Friday. he went through my last tax return. And no, I, I, I, on top of everything that I pay, I owe a significant amount more. And it's just so interesting. At first I took it so, I guess, personally, I mean, it is personal, but I just reacted and I was in my feelings and I was like, it felt threatening, it felt terrifying. And then as I moved out of it, I was able to see like, well, this is interesting because this is, I've been calling in a greater level of. And what that requires is a lot more professionalism on my side. I had assumed that because I was paying this company to also bookkeep for me every month, that they would say, Hey, Looks like you're going to be over this threshold now. Maybe you should put some money into super or maybe you should up your expenses or whatever the thing is. And while that would have been great. And I, and I genuinely did think I was paying them for that Intel. I need to be more over this. I need to be more invested in this myself and, and more professional. So what felt very. nerve wracking at first, then kind of became weirdly exciting. not that I want any more scares like that, but I, I do want to be so much more adult in this. Why am I bringing this up? I guess we've just recently come out of Capricorn season and whatever the desires are that you've had it, you know, it really kind of ties in with this Mars retrograde as well. Whatever the desires are that you've laid down, these architectural blueprints that you've put down. We're in this time period now, or for some of us, I should say, I can't stand blanket statements, but some of us will nudges around, cool, well, Are you showing up like this person or are you inhabiting the qualities that are necessary for you to live into and grow from the blueprints that you've laid down? To go back to Mary Ann. I knew there was a point in me bringing her up. Well, I just wanted to bring her up because I adore her she was a ninth house son and she lived such a big life. You know, the ninth house which is also Sagittarian energy. It wants, it wants to quench life. It's the sort of archetype that doesn't want to get to the end and be like, well, yeah, I had a, a nice time. I could have done X, Y, Z. It wants to get to the end and be like, take me. I have nailed it. Let's go. You know, I'm ready for the next adventure. And so for me, she really, yeah, was this example of what's possible. Minus the heroin. One of the things that I've been doing over the last week is just reading everybody's, uh, remembrance, like memories about her Bella Freud's gave a beautiful one, which was a lot more, I guess, realistic. I love Bella Freud's Instagram. I mean, I love her clothes. I'm, I'm My plan for my, my present for my 44th birthday in June this year is to buy one of her suits, but I, I loved what she wrote. she has this great thing on every Sunday called Sunday stories. She also has a very beautiful podcast, but I recommend watching it on YouTube because the interiors, her taste, it's just, she's, she's just delightful. So Gammon, right? So. fairy esque. Anyway, Robert Montgomery, who I adore, he's a beautiful poet and artist. He wrote this thing about Marianne, which just opened my mind to a whole, I don't know, a whole new realm it feels. And he was talking about this beautiful song that she collaborated with Nick Cave on called The Gypsy Fairy Queen. And he says, That it's a song that seems to single handedly keep the spirit of the ancient pagan gods alive. I do believe songs can keep the gods alive and Marianne did it. Some people seek the gods protection while other people instead protect the gods. And that's just such a delicious visual, like I'd never even conceptualized a thing like that. I guess outside of my understanding of some of the, mythology in ancient Rome and ancient Greece, and there is a, an asteroid in astrology called Vesta, which is a sacred flame, and she's related to, well, the asteroid symbolically. is married to the mythology of the Vestal Virgins who tended to the sacred flames within ancient Rome. And their service was from six years old to 36. And very, very, very briefly, wherever she falls in our chart is an area that we've come here to tend to the flames of this. How do you tend to have flames within your psyche or your personality? You put attention there. You do the things that are related to that archetype in the the house that it falls within. I thought that was so poetic, this idea of protecting the gods. It's swimming in my consciousness. I think it's going to be swimming there for a long time. What does that look like? What does that look like to you? Like, what does that bring forward within your life and your world? In a very Aquarian way. There are so many ways to engage with life, with reality. We are life. You know, I would say we are in God, and there are so many ways that we can endless, endless manifold ways that we can connect to an experience life. And a lot of them are related to, or we crack open to them via our perceptual lens. So as a very mundane example, at the age of 14, Seeing on my mom's bookshelf, Faithful, this autobiography by Miriam Faithful, completely shifted so much within my reality. it made me obsessed with that world, and it made me obsessed with music. And it's no surprise to me, really, that I dated many musicians and was a musician myself. You know, it's like I had this early implantation of this is a template of what reality can be. The decadence, the, all of that, you know, I was like rubbing my hands together being like, yes, bring that. So it's like, what are you allowing into your field? What are you accessing? What are, what lives outside of that? Even these words of Robert. Montgomery, it's like some people protect the God, some people seek the God's protection, like that just feels like it's opening up this whole new channel of possibility, a way of seeing like this poetic way of living and understanding life, you know, even just being down at the ocean this morning and seeing it myself and then other people that are walking towards it. It feels like worship, you know, like. Taking your clothes off and like walking into these waters. It's, it's a wild thing. And it's so also just deeply simple, what can you do this week while we're in such a lush experience with Venus and Neptune and the North node all in Pisces, poetics of life and what, what she can be? How can you elevate? That experience for yourself this week. I hope it's a fabulous one and I'll see you next week. Lots of love
