FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN: THE ENDLESS VALUE OF INTEGRITY

Jules Ferrari

Integrity is a building block of self esteem and confidence. We know when we cross our own boundaries, we know - on some level - when we are not in our truth. This is a full moon to look at our inner vs outer worlds, our private vs public lives. Being in truth and integrity will always be an invaluable currency.

Good morning. I am here to talk about. This great strong full moon that we have this coming Friday, the 11th of July. It will be exact, at least in Australian Eastern standard time at 6:51 AM so it's a Friday morning. Or a Thursday evening for a lot of you, and we'll be in this full moon period for the three and a half days following. So we'll be here for all of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and into the beginning stages of Monday. There is a lot of background noise, so apparently you couldn't hear much of it last week, but there are grinders. There are jackhammers. There's so much going on. It's like the whole space that I'm in is just rattling. I feel like my teeth are rattling. I feel like my whole head's just been shaking for weeks, uh, uh, in vibrating with this sound. So, yeah. Um, just wanted to put that out there. I'm sorry for the background noise. Uh, every time we have this full moon in Capricorn, you know, the. These signs are archetypes. And even though each full moon, like each full moon in Capricorn has its own differentiations based on where the, the rest of the planets are in the sky, uh, there are these central themes. And because the conscious light, so these higher quote unquote. Higher or a better word, conscious expressions of cancer where the sun is, our intuition, how we really feel about things. Our inner world, who we are in our private landscape, which is gigantic. You know, who we are when the world isn't watching is alive and. Conscious and shining down onto the full moon. The moon in Capricorn, the less conscious, the unconscious aspects. Uh. Which isn't to say bad, but it's like with each full moon we get this little opportunity, sometimes big, but we get this opportunity to look into anything that we need to see in the territory of the opposite sign where the moon is. So in Capricorn, I always think of. This is our outer life. This is our us in our roles and responsibilities, in our work, in our obligations. It's our outer, uh, more it, it, it's the person that we are out in the world. And to me, I'm always thinking about integrity one's, honor the truth of who they are. This is our foundational axis. This opposition, an incredibly powerful part of your chart. You'll all have different signs here, but it's the ic up to the midheaven. It's this bold line that cuts right through the middle of your chart. And it dictates or speaks to illuminates your inner world, your domestic environment, your early childhood, certainly. Uh, and then your outer world, who you are up there, out there, you know, the ic, the cancer, what cancer represents this private world, domestic landscape. Is the roots of the tree. Nobody sees it really, unless they live with you. But even still, there's a private inner landscape that only we get access to. And then at the top, which Capricorn represents, we have all the parts of the tree that the world can see, that everyone else can see about us. And. Something that I, yeah, I, I always contemplate, uh, for myself, and I probably write about it every time it is the full moon in Capricorn, is what is your relationship? The through line between these two things is this tree, this foundational axis, fertile. This axis also makes me think of our spine. You know, it's like how we hold ourselves in the, in the world. Um, Patty Smith, a Capricorn has a great quote about how you have to keep a good name. You know, it's like your name. The integrity of your name is the greatest currency that one can ever have or hold. Uh. It's self responsibility and its integrity. Am I me in both of these spheres? Yes. There are more rules in the private world and I I get that. I, it's funny because I've, no, I won't say that, but it's, it's. I think we, I, I was speaking to my friend Nat about this a couple of weekends ago, and it's so interesting how blurred this line has become through the sphere of things like social media now, and I mean, this has been happening for years. It's not new, but how much the private world is made public. Here's the food I eat, here are my children, here's my partner. Um, here's my vacation. Uh, here is my most vulnerable stories. Uh, you know, it's like there's, I, I personally, I I am somebody who likes that sep the separation between the two. Even though I absolutely do utilize my own life examples when I'm teaching because I think that we want it. Be able, as astrologers, as teachers, we want to illustrate examples practically to land what we're saying so that it doesn't just stay in the realm of concept. Uh, and certainly I, I offered some of that in, uh, the workshop on the weekends while blooming, which was. Rad. It was so great to share all of that. There was over 70 people that signed up, which is just fantastic. If you want to, uh, you can still purchase it, you'll receive the workbook and the replay. Uh, and that's if you are between the ages of 37 and 44. But you know what, what I found interesting from that was that. Between those ages from the very beginning transit, which was the no return up until these final stages of the last one that I'm in. Uranus opposition. There's been a theme throughout the whole thing and a particular archetype throughout the whole thing. So I say this because again, one of the great beauties of the astrological. Language is how much there can be this, these themes. It, it allows you to see things from such a larger context. You know, it's not just about me. In this singular experience, there is some grander story that's taking place and through astrology we're able to see. Time periods and experiences and see how they are linked. But anyway, tangent. So integrity, honor, these beautiful, intangible, stunning things that are only ever growing in importance. I was reading some, um. Something before, and it was Marcus Aurelius and he said something like, I mean, meditations is just one of the greatest books if, if you haven't read it. Uh, and he speaks about how, you know, there's no point arguing about what makes a great man or woman. He says, be one. And I think that that really speaks to this, you know, how we. Fostering who we are, how are we tending to who we are and and self-regulating that. You know, cancer is the internal mother. The maternal energy Capricorn is the paternal energy one is more watery and. Intuitive emotional nurturing. One is more about structure, form, discipline, commitment. Uh, and I don't, I probably don't need to say this, but I'm not necessitating. Male female necessarily. I think we, I personally feel that we have both of these within us. I can sense that within myself. I've always, I'm a Gemini. I don't even think this use this term is really used now, but I've always felt that androgynous energy. I've always felt both of those parts of myself very clearly, and I've always had a natural relationship with both of them. And I'm sure a lot of you have too. And here it's like. Again, when I think of this opposition or this channel of, uh, through line and channel, an exchange of these two archetypal energies, to me, I always think of the chalice that is filled with these waters. You know, we could think of the grail. Or any excellent, beautiful medieval chalice. The chalice to me is Capricorn. It's holding up the water. It's holding the water, and water can take any form, and the structures, the inner foundations, the integrity of the world that we're building, the foundations that we're standing on is what allows the containment and the. Uh, I kind of wanna say fertility. Um, the creativity, the support and safety of our watery selves. We need both of these things as internally. Otherwise, if we didn't have the water, we would live in burnout. We would constantly go past the point of exhaustion. We would constantly be ignoring our inner voice or inner feelings or. Body that's saying, I'm tired, I need rest. Uh, or I, I don't really like this situation, or I don't like this work that I'm doing. And if we didn't have the capricornia elements, then, you know, if I don't feel like doing work today. I won't do it. If I don't feel like doing work tomorrow, I won't do it. You know, we need a level of structure and organization and discipline, commitment, devotion, all of these beautiful capricornian words. I don't know if capricornian is a phrase, by the way. I just use it all the time, so you know what I'm saying. Um, so to look at the chart, another interesting part of this to me is that Mars. We'll be down here in Virgo and it's conjunct the south node. And I love this because it's in a great relationship to the moon in Capricorn and the sun in cancer, likewise with the south node. Well, the nodal axis actually, and sorry, I just spooked myself. Uh. So what I love about Mars there, we've, we've had six months of the south node in Virgo. Now it, it will likely be obvious to any of us who need to see any catch 20 twos We've placed on ourselves with Virgo, which is, I overthink every move I can make to the point where. I'm exhausted when it comes time to make it in a nutshell, or where is perfectionism getting in the way of actualization? Virgo wants to actualize, which is to act, to bring, to form, to bring to life, and it utilizes routines, habits, uh, rituals to get their discipline. Again, this is earthy energy that we're talking about with Virgo and Capricorn. And with Mars here, our will is here and now it's conjunct, the south node. So we're really, there's a lot of gusto here. You know, if you've been sitting on things or if you're still sort of butting up against analysis paralysis. The magic here is to take action, to make the moves, to do the thing. You know, I, I think I spoke about this with the south nerd in Virgo. What we want to be doing this year is, or, or how, how Virgo flourishes you act and then you refine. You don't. Refine an idea to the point where you're too tied to then take action on it, which is when Virgo inverts itself, we want to do the thing and then go, okay, let's edit, or whatever it might be. That's how Virgo works best, because it's craft energy. The more that we're doing the thing, the more we're refining our abilities to do the thing. So that's there. There's a lot of action, energy, and it's practical action as well, which is the Virgo element. So I love that. Uh. And of course we will have this first flush of Uranus here in Gemini. It's moved in today. Uh, and it's conjunct Venus, uh, for all of this week. So that's interesting. Like I was saying in last week's episode, there's a lot of, uh, obviousness in any relational patterning. Uh. That is there to be seen. We also get this eagle eyed vision over our values and over our integrity as well. You know, in terms of, what do I say, which is, we could also say Venus in Gemini versus what do I do, which is the Mars conjunct south node in Virgo and then this full moon of cancer and Capricorn, am I who I say I am. Am I how I act publicly the person who I am privately. I think I said that so weirdly, but you know what I mean. Okay. It is too loud. I gotta go. I'm so sorry If you've been able to hear all of this, uh, background noise, it will be much quieter next week. Bye. I hope you have a good one.
