ECLIPSE PREP & A NEW MOON IN VIRGO
Virgo Season begins this Saturday and a new Moon occurs one hour into the Sun's arrival. This is an amped up Virgo this year and this episode will begin to walk you through the juice and the magic and the unconscious expressions of this sign while speaking to how we can best prep for eclipse season. Note, it is nothing to fear.

Hey, how are you? I wanna talk about the Virgo New Moon, which is happening on Saturday. So Virgo season starts on Saturday here in Australia, and we have a new moon, a beautiful new moon, just hours after. Actually, let me check that. Yeah, within an hour of Virgo season starting, we have the New Moon in Virgo and they will be exact at zero degrees of Virgo, which I love, you know, because this is a new moon, certainly symbolizes on one level. A clean slate, a new beginning, a new season. And here we're entering the new season of Virgo. So this week, Monday through Friday, we're in this last, and, and for half of Saturday, we're in this last week of Leo season. So maximize that, especially I'm sure a lot of you have noticed the change in. Energy since Mercury went direct here last week, it's such a different expression. I've really felt that difference between the more reflected inner version of it and this more outer expressed, joyful, playful, fun, magic of Leo which is so related to heart energy. Actually, if you listen to Rick Rubin just interviewed, um, that Joe Dispenza guy. And if you just listen to the first three minutes of that, Joe explains Leo season. In a very cool way. He's not explicitly talking about Leo, he's talking about the coherence of the heart and how that is how we get into incredible states of creativity and all of this. The heart creativity is deeply related to Leo. So if you wanna understand Leo season on a more, physical scientific level. I recommend you literally only need to listen to the first three minutes of it. So yeah, like just see what's coming up, what wants to be, brought to life while you're in. This last week of Leo, I just had what I'm referring to as an ancestral piano, delivered to my house on Friday, which is really exciting. It's like a third generation piano in my family. Fourth if I take into account my son. And yeah, just having this magic. In my house feels so beautiful. I'm just buzzing from getting to have this other outlet that lives within my house that is so good for me. It's so cleansing for me to be able to. Play and just be in that creative state. It's got nothing to do with my work or my work identity. It's got nothing to do with the other roles that I have in life. Like Mother for example. It's just me and the expression of me, and there's something just beautifully, I don't know. It just puts me into the slipstream. Of myself like nothing else can. And I'm sure you all have your version of what those things are. So we're entering Virgo on Saturday and literally within the first hour of the sun moving there, it will perfectly join up the moon, which will also be at zero degrees and they'll be at 22 minutes, then they'll be at 23 minutes together. This is basically Eclipse Prep. That's what I hope that the next few minutes of this conversation are. If you are an Astro nerd, this is a very beautiful, potent. Thing. We have this first new Moon in Virgo at zero degrees. This is the beginning degree of every sign. Then we will have the full Moon, which is a total lunar eclipse in Pisces on Monday, the 8th of September. It's the only. Lunar eclipse that we'll have in Pisces for this set of eclipse seasons. So remembering that the north node is in Pisces, and here we'll have a total lunar eclipse in Pisces on Monday the 8th of September. Juicy, I'll have plenty to say about it. Um, so don't worry about that. You don't need to really know about that yet. But what I want to bring your attention to is then we will have a second new moon in Virgo, which will be a partial solar eclipse at 29 degrees of Virgo. This is the final degrees of each sign. Each sign begins at zero, ends at 29. This is a wildly beautiful orchestration of. Beginning at zero with a new moon ending at 29 with a new Moon, same sign, and also a partial solar eclipse if ever there was a portal. I spoke a little bit about Virgo to you in last week's episode, and this is an energy that works best when it's taking action first and then refining after the action has been taken where it gets caught up in itself. And becomes almost like a catch 22 or a sabotage spiral is when it thinks, and it plans, and it overthinks to the point where you get analysis paralysis, meaning you've analyzed the things so much that when it gets time to do the actual thing, the juice is gone. You're tired, there's no energy there, or you've created this. Like schizophrenic web, cobweb of possibility, that's just lighting up in all these different directions. And you feel, immobilized as a byproduct. Right. So clean action organization. Yes. A level of routine and ritual and practical application. Heck yes. Where are you wasting your life and the finite resources of your life, specifically your engagement with time and space, and how you're utilizing them, what you're doing there, how you are going about actualizing the things that mean the most to you. Virgo is a sign of. This, this sense of purpose. What have I come here to actualize? What have I come here to bring into reality? Now, both of these new moons, the one on Saturday and then the one on the, the 22nd of September, both in Virgo, right? Both clean slates, both. Relating in a way. The second one, far more so because it's a partial solo eclipse. This is just a new moon on Saturday. However, it begins eclipse season, which happens for the entirety of Eclipse, of Virgo season. We are engaging with the south node energy, the unconscious, let's say, conditioned unconscious expressions of this archetype, Virgo, however. Where we have this beautiful experience of two clean slates. There's, there's freshness, there's newness, there's a re-engagement that's, opening and closing Virgo season while the south node is there. You know, I've spoken, I feel at length on this podcast about the unbelievable. Orchestration of these celestial events. The way they line up is just always, you know, the best way I can explain is delicious. It's so refined. Like whoever the maestro is, is just, you know, unparalleled. And this is a brilliant example of this. So what are these lower expressions or or let's just say unconscious expressions. That's the best way to say it. Of the archetype of Virgo already touched on one analysis paralysis. This is where we procrastinate Nate, and we think we're being productive. We're shuffling all the papers, we're organizing the desk, we're doing blah, blah, blah, blah. We're doing everything. But the work, whatever the quote unquote, the work is for you. And then we think that we're actually engaging with the work, but we've created a very, very clever little procrastination loop. So just this is a season to engage with. How could I refine my processes of actualizing anything in my life? You know, the way I get out the door in the morning, it doesn't have to be, uh, gigantic stuff here. But hey, when things are a little bit organized, you know, it greases the wheels of life, of your stress levels. Stress to me, is really related to Virgo. Being busy but not productive is really related to Virgo. The stress of how much I have to do that I haven't organized well is the unconscious versions of Virgo. It's anywhere where we're getting caught up. In non-action. Essentially, like I said, the way this works best and certainly the way it's worked best for me personally with my moon here is I do the thing and then I refine from there. You know, it's, I make the bold move to go, you know what? I'm gonna hold my first workshop. You hold the first workshop, you're very nervous. All of the things. And then after the workshop you go, okay, cool. Here's how that was good. Here's how I could refine that going forward. It's really that simple. And then you move forward. You do the next workshop and you implement those things. That's it. This is an earth sign and it's ruled by Mercury. This is grounded practical intelligence. You know, I've said this also, Capricorn is the architect. You know, it's like, here's the blueprints for my year ahead. Here's the blueprints for my lifetime. Here's the blueprints of like what I want my legacy to be. This is Capricorn thinking. And then we look over to Virgo and we go, all right, cool. If that's the blueprint, if that's the long game, what is my daily life looking like? Because that is what is moving me. Step by step into the actualization of the whole beau, bringing the blueprints and turning it into the lived experience. You know, the mountain, the house, the whatever the thing is that you are wanting to. Bring to life. And again, like we we're in this last week of Leo's season, like, what are you wanting to bring to life? What makes you feel alive? And it's not like everything that brings you to life is something that you need to make money from. You know, your purpose, this very Virgo term isn't necessarily. Going to always be the thing that you make money from. Rad. If it is, but you know, I was gonna give the example of Kafka, but maybe he's not a good example because you know, he wrote every night, was he an accountant? I can't remember. And he worked essentially a nine to five. And it wasn't until he passed, he died. And he explicitly said in his will, do not either, like, don't go through my writing or don't publish any of this. And his brother, when he was going through his things, found his writing, he found metamorphosis and it was published after Kafka had had passed. Anyway, how did we get there? Uh, tangents. Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon. This is a recipe for tangents, li ascendant. This is me. Uh, so really, it, it, it's simple. Okay. And again, I I, I have plenty to say to you during this season of eclipses, I. Feel brilliant about these. I love eclipses. They're nothing to fear. If you are fearing them or you are worried about them, please reign that in because that's you just giving your power away. Don't do that. This is the Virgin and the Virgin. Is not about etymologically, it's not about sexual purity. The virgin was sovereign, fully contained. This is, I think what is meant by the cleanliness of Virgo, what's meant by the purity that is often associated with Virgo. It's self sovereignty. My energy is mine. I'm tracking it. I'm in it. I'm grounded. I'm here in my body. I'm in present time. The lights are on. I'm home, so whatever's going on, whatever's being thrown at me or whatever situation arises, I'm present and I'm able to engage with it in a way where. I'm not giving my power away or my attention away, or whatever the thing is, unless I'm consciously choosing to. This is the beauty of Virgo. You want to get some stuff done. You wanna make some big, bold moves, you know? I know so many of you are entrepreneurial. A lot of you have businesses, A lot of you are wanting to step into more of that. I highly recommend that you utilize these eclipses and especially these two new moons, but you know, whatever, the whole month is magical. Bring some things out into the world. Just push yourself a little bit. Step outside of what's comfy. What are actions that you could take that are actualizing things that feel like your purpose, like your dharma? It could be symbolic. It doesn't have to be gigantic. It doesn't have to be the whole meat and veg. It could be a little entree, dish, whatever. But this is a great time to really just take notice of what comes up. And something that I was saying, you know, before the nodes shifted here in January of this year was, for me personally, I was thinking of this as the South note in Virgo. I was thinking of this as. A release of ancient stress. And for me personally, I was really thinking of lymphatic drainage, any kind of body work. If you are able to engage with that, I highly recommend that, especially if you feel if you are stressed or if you're feeling stress in your body. I just went to a, a somatic. Re it was called Somatic Relaxation class on Friday, and I'm gonna go every Friday, hopefully. And it was kind of on the, on the border of my comfort zone. I was worried we were gonna have to like sway and hold hands and shit. You know, which is my worst nightmare only, you know, if it feels like performative and disingenuous. And it was incredible and the teacher was brilliant and it was, I just felt completely, fully, not, not just present as in I'm here, but like my whole body was awake and turned. Dialed up. So anything that you can do, and I'm sure, you all have your little things, I would be, I would recommend as an astrological prescription to engage with these things while we're in Virgo season. And while we're going through these eclipses, you will not have to hunt around with a microscope to find what is. Your work to do. If you have any during a clip season, it'll make itself known to you and the more that you're here, you'll just notice it. Right? So yeah. And increase in body work. Great idea. An increase in practical application and action. As I've said a lot, this is a year of action and experimentation, and Virgo season is a brilliant time to do both actually. I started my podcast in Virgo season and it was, I still don't even have an intro song and there's, you know, my staff note in Aquarius is like, I don't even need to do that. I don't even need to play that whole intro music game, which, you know, we'll see if that stays or not. Point being the podcast was a great example of utilizing Virgo season. It's not shiny. Perfect, but it's a year in and I'm learning heaps and you know, if I hadn't done that, I'd still be thwarting myself, or like thwarting that expression and that way of engaging with you. All that feels. Just true, you know, to me. And genuine to me. And those things are very important to me. Even though, sure I'm not always as candid as I could be, but I am contemplating, a subscription version where. I can be a lot more candid behind a paywall. That's the reality. I don't want everyone having access to my thoughts, but, yeah. There you go. I hope this lands and I hope you're all having a beautiful week. Hope you enjoy this last five days of beautiful Leo. Before we go into beautiful Virgo. I'm a fan of all of them, but my God, I always feel brilliant in the earth seasons. See you later. See you next week.
