Good morning, happy Virgo season. I wanted to offer some reflections from the New Moon that we've just had or that we're still in the experience of. This is a malleable sign. And so having the sun and the moon here was this oomph or this beginning oomph of malleability. One thing I wanted to say, if you are, interested in learning astrology or maybe you have already studied it, it's really, really important. To see how each SE season plays out, in reality, like in time and space. Astrology isn't just concept. It's taking place down here on this planet based off of certainly where. Energies are in the solar system, and then how they are being experienced down here on earth. You know, your natal chart is a map of the solar system based off of the specific time and space location that you arrived into. So it's like if you were to look out from wherever you were born. And you had the vision to see the planets, they would be where they were in your chart. So in that sense, it's like an interplanetary geographical map. And it's not just concept. I highly recommend going to an observatory. Getting to have that experience, or if you live somewhere like I do where there's less light pollution and the stars are unbelievable and you can see the Milky Way, then I highly recommend learning to see the elliptic band where all the planets sit on. We're not disconnected from the planet and we're not disconnected from our solar system. It is like this larger organism that we're operating within, and it's very, very easy to have our head in the books or our head on the astro memes and think that that is what astrology is. Uh, after I studied, uh. My first round of formal astrological study, I went and learned, under an astrophysicist at the Sydney Observatory. I learned about relativity. I learned to read the sky at the time. I did three courses, and it was amazing. It was great to. See the planets, um, not in the flesh, but to see their location, to get, to see them through, the great big, lenses and to have that introduction to them almost, where it wasn't just about archetype, it wasn't just about. I don't know the key words that you read about each of the signs or the planets or the houses. It was, face to face with the actual planetary bodies. Uh, I have a client, hi Lana. I have a client who each month buys the, and then watches the workshop. Related to each month that we're in. So has just watched Virgo. They're all on my website if that's ever anything you wanna do. And I was writing to her and I was like, I just love that she's doing this because this is a incredible way and it's something that I encourage my astrology school students to do. It's an incredible way to form a knowing with. The signs by observing how they're playing out down here in your life, but even, with the weather, and within the context of your community as well. So, to illustrate this example on Saturday when we moved into Virgo and when we had the New Moon here, after a week of. Beautiful rain. It was incredibly sunny and gorgeous and there were winds that day and to me it was like, wow, it's the winds of change. And there was heat in the air for the first time. In months because I mean, Australia, we're in winter until the equinox, on the 23rd of September. However, Virgo is immutable sign and mutable signs are when wind like, well, to use this as an example, it's where winter and spring. Begin to dance with one another, they begin to start to overlap one another as well. And it was wild, you know? It was like right on, right on time. And then on the Sunday when we were still like, we are now in this new moon phase. I was on my morning walk and decided to. Go on a bush walk. And it was funny because for me, waddle is everything. It's my favorite flower. If you live in England, I guess it's closest relative is mimosa. And I'm not sure if they have mimosa and if they have mims where you are in America, tell me. But it's, it's stunning and it's been blooming for a while, but for me it's always when I smell the incredible honeyed scent of it, that it feels like this first wave of spring and it's been blooming for a while, but going into the depths of the bush, I got to smell it for the first time. It's not here in like suburbia, but in the bush. The oils of it are alive. And then on my walk home, I got swooped by a magpie a couple of times, which always scares me. I could just see its shadow creeping towards me. And again, it's like such a hallmark of spring today it's a little more overcast and chilly, but it was just so beautiful to get to. Like by it, it was just like textbook, the door opened to a mutable sign and here were these invitations into what's coming. So I really invite you to notice that I was reading one of my favorite writers, before I've recently woken up. And I was reading one of his pieces in bed on his substack, and he was in the forest yesterday. In outside of Devon and he said he felt that first wave of autumn for him, it was like a damp in the air, which yeah, again, is just so fab. So we wanna remember, and this is interesting, I think whether one is interested in becoming an astrologer or just forming a greater relationship to. Astrology is a tropical experience. It's related to the seasons, it's related to earth. Like when we have the Equinox on the 23rd of September, when we have that balance of light and day, we will be entering zero degrees of Libra. So spring is. Or Autumn for you in the Northern Hemisphere begins at zero degrees of Libra. They're deeply tethered to these archetypes. So what is malleability? I've touched on it in an example of the physical world. There is an adaptability. The spirit is able to take many forms. Let's say there's a changeability. And I think that that's a brilliant thing when we're in this very interesting month of Virgo with two new moons here and with the lunar eclipse in less than two weeks time, the full moon in Pisces. What are we wanting to change? We are seeing that change is a very natural part. Of the earthly process or experience. It's a very natural part of our own seasonality to be liquid and adaptable and changeable. There's times to be changeable. There's times to not be. I was writing to my students, we're just about to start in a month. Level two, which is something that's only offered to people who've been in level one of astrology school. But I was writing to them about my experiences of the New Moon, and it was so interesting, and I'm sure I wanna share this with you because I'm sure that you've all had a similar thing take place this weekend. If you have the, if you've had the quietness. To be able to perceive this aspect of yourself. And I have, so I just wanna preface that if you've been busy in your roles and responsibilities of life and you haven't had solitude this weekend, sometimes it's, well, at least for myself, I don't wanna speak for you. But personally, with my 12th house moon, I need solitude to really sit inside myself in a way that is. Receptive to my own messaging. So I've had a great week of being in solitude and working and with clients, and I had four things drop in from New Moon onwards within like a 24 hour period. Two things were, and all four of these things, I wanna say these intuitive hits are things that have been percolating around me for quite some time. One of them is something that has been percolating around me for four years, five years. Actually. I was pregnant, when the first opportunity came through, and then another opportunity to do the same thing came through, and it also came through at a very strong time in my life and I. I put it down and I, and I have, I put it to the side and I was like, I don't know if it will happen, but I don't know when. Anyway, this was one of the things that came back to me, so it wasn't anything new, but all four of these, let's say, intuitive hits were related to my work and purpose. Which is very much Virgo, right? What have I come here to actualize? Where do I wanna put my energy and focus and attention? What do I want to turn into reality? What visions and dreams, AKA Pisces? What creative projects Pisces do I want to ground through my body first and then through my. Discipline and habits and rituals and showing up and taking the action. Do I want to actualize into real life? What feels deeply purposeful for me as an individual? So it was just interesting that all four of these things were related to that. One of them, I was walking from my back door into my office, my studio, and I saw. The thing drop in again, I saw two people to that could facilitate that, but it's, it's their jobs. But they just came in very clearly. I saw the whole thing again in its full form. And then I had two things reflected back by with one of my clients that day. And then the fourth thing. Arrived on Sunday morning as my last dream before I woke up. And yeah, it was just a very interesting snapshot of put your energy here. Also, something that I've noticed twice this weekend is legends. In my extended field, not people that I know personally, but yeah, Le Legends in my extended field making very beautiful choices to return to more analog ways of operating. One is the writer and Mythologist. Sylvia Linta. I'm sorry, I'm probably. Butchering her surname, but an absolute legend. I've watched one of her courses on Ed via I highly recommended Via. It's so good. This isn't sponsored, but it's just an incredible storehouse of so many amazing, thinkers and teachers, and incredible courses that all live in this one place. And she is completely. Leaving her digital imprint behind and simply returning to a newsletter for now. So I guess that's digital in a way, but her plan is to transfer back to a typed or a pen and paper photocopied newsletter that's sent out in the post, which I'm absolutely frothing over. I think that's. So cool. And she's an incredible writer. So as soon as I saw that, I signed up to her newsletter and then I sought out all the books that she's written and I bought them, one of which is a really beautiful looking children's book. If you want to entice your children with myth and relationship to land, I highly recommend our work yeah, a ledge, a total ledge. And then the other one was an astrologer I saw her work and she was speaking to how, which is so easy to do, she'd fallen into, or had been, adapted to the landscape of business in the digital realms. You know, I was speaking to my friend Sarah about this a couple of weeks ago. There's so much, and this sounds so gross, but when there's money on the table, we can easily get grubby and want to take it. Even if it's not in integrity with ourselves, or even if it's not aligned with our values. And I'm not saying that we shouldn't make money. We absolutely should. We're in this incredible time where so many of the people that I know personally and then in a wider community get to live these very free, genuine lives because we're able to do the work that calls our name and we're able to translate that for an audience that lives all over the world. Like half 50% of my clients are. Not in Australia. They're everywhere. Everywhere else, which is amazing. So I'm not saying that, but it's just what do you really want to offer and why? And sometimes that means not doing all of the things that people say you can do. You know, it's bringing it back to your own instincts and your own intuitive hits and it's like, does this serve me? Is this something that I deeply want to do also? I think there is such a call and it's one of the things that I'm wanting to begin for in-person experiences and community. Just extended community, like the real life, the tangible I do freak out about, internet land. Again, I grew up on terminated too, and Sarah Connor was one of my f foundational archetypes, so that's probably a, a large part of the fear. But, you know, having a young son and then reading about how exposed young children are to really intense sexual imagery from a very young age, if they're on screens a lot is just. Terrifying. Uh, anyway, little rabbit hole there. What else have I written here? Yeah, and that's why I brought that up. So something that I've been reflecting on with this and I'm seeing it a lot, within, again, this sort of extended community, people I know and people that I don't know, but who I'd referred to, as peers, like we're doing similar kind of things out in the world. We have Jupiter in cancer, which I, I do have, an episode on. But with that, Jupiter is what is meaningful to me. What is the grander why and does this feed me? And with that hearing cancer. This is the why is deeply linked to our intuitive self, to our emotions, to our inner world. It's harder to override things that are not meaningful to us because we think we should be doing them. So the why of our heart, let's say, is harder to lie to ourselves because we will feel off, I think what is meaningful to us as individuals, and then certainly it extends out to these much bigger conversations of what, what is a meaningful life for us within community. For us, within collective, for us on this planet, in relationship with this planet, what is meaningful and what isn't, is one of the greatest compasses that we can be connected to consciously. And having Jupiter here in cancer, we will feel off emotionally and energetically. If we are doing things of our own volition that feel meaningless, or feel like a patch job or I should be doing this, I, and I get to read for unbelievable people. Like I'm constantly thrilled that the people who tune into my work and who find me and that I then get to read for are absolute legends. I have so much, optimism and let's say like faith in the future because of the data that I get to collect by seeing all these incredible people. Doing these incredible things, living in such integrity out in the world. I'm not somebody who has necessarily faith on governments. I have no real time for that. It's us. It's the way that we're choosing to live. It's the way that we're choosing to run our businesses or show up as partners or show up as parents. To show up as siblings and children, or daughters and sons, not children. Uh, so yeah, it's a, no, that's 23 minutes. I was like, oh, so that's a little one. It's not a little one, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention. We're in this mutable time. We're seeing that we have the capacity to be adaptable and in a very virgo way, we're able to cut the figurative fat. We're able to cut the fat from our schedule. We're able to cut the fat from habits that keep us busy and give us a false sense of productivity. But are a deep waste of our time. Any habits that we have that are like a void, or a black hole, no point playing there, I don't think. How do you want to, you know, when I think of Virgo, it's like, it's like whittling something down, like a piece of wood with a sharp blade. You have to be so precise. And put some energy into it to form, to form, you know, I don't know, a little knife or whatever it is that you're whittling up to you, but to make something come to life, it requires the whittling down of what isn't a part of it. It's an artful curation. We're in the earth version of Mercury, which is practical intelligence and it's practical application. It's the embodiment of our knowledge, the lived wisdom of our knowledge, the application of our knowledge is probably the best way to say it. And the application of idea into form. That's all I have to say really. I hope you have a beautiful week. I have bookings open for readings. I think they actually all fit'cause they're before level two start. So they're all between now. And the Equinox. So they are within this, the gateways of this excellent eclipse season. And I've always got the mini reading, mini readings open for looking at your intuition and how it's very clearly expressed in your natal chart. I did two of those, yesterday, and they're so enjoyable to do. Because it is so specific and it's great to, like, that really connects me to my why. You know, the idea of people feeling more connected to themselves and their own wisdom, validated and able to be confident that in this is in fact. Your intuitive self in communication with you makes me feel excellent because as ever in the last several years, in the coming years, and I think always as natural beings, it's great to have a connection to our intuitive selves and to amplify that during a time where. The digital and the non tactile and the non-organic is being pilfered out in a way that's so seductive, but seductive in a way that's base and hollow. I don't need. AI to validate me and mirror back to me. I really don't. I don't think you do either. We have ourselves. We have the natural world. Yeah. I hope you have a beautiful week. I'll be back next week to talk about the upcoming lunar eclipse in Pisces.
