This is a big full moon and a prelude for a transit we will have in Leo (the South Node) from July 27th 2026 - March 2028. Do take note of what arises over this time for you.
Astrology is a language, you don't learn it by dabbling. If you want to learn this language while also being initiated deeply into your own chart, join Astrology School. Doors close on Monday 16th Feb.

Hey, how you going? Hope you are very, very well. I am recording this on Sunday lunchtime. I've just finished the last three of my mini readings that I did for 2026. Um, this, this is always such a busy time of, uh, year for me. This weekend, for example, I did seven mini readings and three. Uh, zoom readings with clients as well as all the other work that I have to do. That's a lot. That's my absolute max. And I never usually do that much in terms of reading because, uh, it's a lot, it uses a lot of energy. But this is, I can also do it. Hi, I have a Capricorn. I see. Don't you worry. I can, I can hold a love. Um. And I wanted to come in here because I've just been talking about Leo so much in these mini readings. It really is such a strong archetype, uh, for the forthcoming couple of years really. And this full moon, which is happening on Monday morning, the 2nd of February. Uh, just a few hours after I release this episode. It's just after 9:00 AM Uh, Australian time is a prelude to that. I don't know if any of you have heard, I'm sure many of you listening have heard of like human design number one, but also there's a lot of discussion around. W this whole 2027 kind of energy. And while I'm not trained in that, uh, modality, I am an astrologer, I really think that a lot of the 2027 thing is related to the south node moving through Leo. And that begins on the 27th of July and will be there until March of 2028. The south node is the less conscious expressions, the less mature expressions of an archetype, which in Leo, I mean, we'll go into this so much over the coming years. Uh, but just off the top of my head, it's playing to the crowd. It's deeply self-censoring what we say, but also that we're censoring the expression of who we genuinely are. Uh, the way that I articulated it this week is like, it's like anywhere where you are, where you are taking shapes or forms that really are just so antithetical to your nature. You will become so aware of the disparity between who you are and the way that you are applying or restricting your personality, your self-expression, your creativity, and will. This is an energy that you have to go looking for. It will just present itself during this time. If there is any kind of incongruence, it will become more and more obvious. I'm incredibly excited about this, uh, transit because I think we've kind of lived through a, a time recently where there is so much of this, uh, curation of what life is meant to be or what life is meant to look like. You know, it's like that sort of social hypnosis. So I, I don't know. One way I would say this is like when I'm looking at somebody's chart, it, it really shows our nature and it really, really shows our nurture and it also presents itself as a map to, to reclaim and, and emit more of the self. Uh, but it, it's, it's like that socialization process continues on and I feel like there's such a, there's such a set of social expectations, which we can. Imbibe from a young age, but also as adults. And certainly the south node in Virgo is doing a lot of help in, in making us aware of what are the expectations that I'm, that I'm living towards and, and are these even mine? Um, and so this will just further itself as we move into Leo season, uh, sorry. As we move into Leo, as the south node moves into Leo. You know, it's like, and anywhere where we are fitting in versus belonging, we will be able to feel that, you know, because sometimes we can take a shape or express ourselves in a certain way that gets really good feedback. Uh, or, or we get by and then we can really set and forget, you know? But what I'm saying is like, during this. The second half of this year, certainly with this full moon that's happening on Monday, we'll be in that full moon period until, what's that Thursday afternoon Aussie time. Um, we are getting to see any, we we're getting to see if there's any disparities here. You know, it's like, where am I living in a way, or not saying the thing or thwarting my own vitality. Which when we think of it, astrologically is related to Leo, and your vitality is linked to the genuine expression of your personality. There's a multitude of ways that we're expressing our personality all the time. So anywhere that you are thwarting it or leaking it or contorting it, begin to observe that. And I and I, and I feel like most of us. Have that. Again, this is related to an access of individuation. I'll speak a lot more about this in the coming months as we get closer to the nodes, moving into, uh, Aquarius and Leo. But as I've said here before, it's like, and as people have articulated, you know, more in depth than me, gbo mate, Carl Jung being two examples. Um. We have as children, as social creatures that Juul need to belong to ourselves and be who we are and express ourselves and to belong to the group. And as kids, we will always choose to belong to the group if we must make a choice. Now, ideally, we don't have to. We can genuinely belong to ourselves and the group from the get go, however. We've all gone through a, a conditioning and a socialization process and like, I'm like, I would argue here we are continuing to be socialized, so we all have things to reclaim here, and it's like we're reclaiming more of our own energy, more of our own vitality. Like the sun is your star, it's more of your light, it's more of your coding. So really take note of what comes up during this time because it does feel like a great prelude, a great entree into what may be on the menu when we move into that nodal axis. So that begins on the 27th of July, but it's, you know, it, it's, it's gonna be awesome, um, because you know, when we're genuinely belonging to ourselves. Surprise, surprise, we're emitting more of ourselves. And then it's like that beacon goes out and we're bringing people forward who really see us. Um, so simple. Uh, yeah. Anything that, yeah, anywhere where you are thwarting your own self-expression as well could be a theme with this full moon. You know, anywhere where you are contemplating how the audience will receive you, and then self-censoring based on how you think the audience will receive. You could also be a theme, like who is the audience? You know, I feel like we all, well, a lot of us have, you know, I don't know. Even if you are writing something, creating something, we all have like a, I'm not gonna say we all, sorry. We have a number of people that we might be contemplating, like, oof, how are they gonna react if I do X, Y, z? That's, you know, no, just don't do that. You know, it, it's like we're getting to the crunch line where it's like, is it more important that I belong to myself and I'm genuine and authentic and fully alive, or that I am placating myself to what I assume? Somebody may, uh, think about me and it could be like someone from high school from decades ago, you know? Um, I know for me sometimes it's like people from my music past, you know, specifically blokes, I know there's a lot of legend blokes that listen to this. Hello. But I sometimes I'm like, oh God, are they thinking of blah, blah? They're, they're definitely not thinking of me at all. Like, that's the reality. And if I do, it's like, I also genuinely don't care. But there's this, like, when I really think about it and sit with it, I genuinely don't care. But there's this social interfacing aspect of myself that seems to care and it thwarts this like full breadth of myself, you know? And, and I, and what I'm suggesting here is we all have little parts of this, and this is what. This is like part of the upcoming curriculum. So really just notice what's come up this weekend and what comes up this week. That's really all I have to say about that. I do wanna point you towards a couple of things. I am raising my rates for readings on the 17th of February. I am booked out for Feb. I'm booking out very quickly at the moment. Uh, I will release dates for March, but what I wanted to say is if you are wanting to book in and because there's no spots available right now, what you can do is buy yourself a gift certificate at the current rate, and then as soon as I open up more dates, you can use that. So there's that. And then the other thing is Astrology School, it begins. Well, doors close in in two weeks. Um, this is my annual intake for astrology school. There's already an incredible, uh, group of over 30 people that have signed up, and I'm very excited to see who comes in next. You know, it's like astrology is a language and dabbling will not make you fluent. It's really as simple as that. It is also a language that is incredibly liberating because there's a neutrality to it. Um, it's helped me so much in being able to see myself, you know, I've been talking quite a bit about how a lot of my clients and, and so many of my students are beautifully sensitive and very intuitive and have learned how to read the room first. And, you know, astrology gives you a language to. Orient that sensitivity and hone it and articulate it. And it also gives you the capacity to really, really see yourself. And that's absolutely what it did for me. And we are entering this time where, you know, this relates to Leo too. It's like if I, if I am needing somebody to see me and then, um. But I'm not, I'm not taking the time to see myself. Then that's me relying on external validation. Um, if, but if I'm taking the time to also see and understand myself very deeply, then that's incredible and I'm, and I'm really developing more and more of that inner validation. And this is really what astrology does. You know, I'm a Gemini, but I have this. Mercury in cancer, which I talk about a bit because it's, it feels almost like this disparity. There's a part of me that's quick witted, logical, rational, let's debate. I can hold multitudes, but then my mercury is an absolute softy and in, and it took me so long. It really took me the language of astrology, which is neutral and objective to, to. Confirm what I already felt that was so sensitive around, which is I am really sensitive and I can really, um, almost be passive in terms of I need to read the room before I will say my peace. Um, or I would just fully retreat with inside of myself. And while that can be an aspect of mercury and cancer astrology. Also gives us the how to of elevating that aspect. So I can't just ride on the coattail coattails of like, well, I'm sensitive and I need to feel safe in every space. Like sure, yeah. And I'll make sure I cultivate that, especially relationally. But also how can I tend to myself and nourish myself and be an anchor point within myself, be this safe sanctuary within myself so that I can. Uh, communicate my feelings more, communicate my, whatever the thing is more rather than, uh, simply retreating for days. Um, yeah, so if you are really wanting to, through the, through the language of astrology, whilst also learning the language of astrology, astrology School is. Your ally. Um, any questions that you have, send them my way, but I hope you'll have a great week. Um, and yeah, I'll speak to you next week. I.
