Today I wanna speak about Tuesday's Annular, solar Eclipse and New Moon in Aquarius, and the beginning of the Chinese Lunar New Year. This week I am going to be, well, we're just working out times right now, but I am going to be interviewing. Somebody who specializes in Chinese astrology, and I'm really hoping that I'm able to bring that episode to you next week. I'm so excited. I've been diving down a rabbit hole of, Chinese astrology. It's really fascinating. So today I wanna speak about this eclipse and why this eclipse cycle. In fact, why the four eclipses that we have this year are. Different to the norm. So let's start there. So we have this new moon and annular, solar eclipse. Then in two weeks time, we'll be in Pisces season and we'll have a total lunar eclipse in. Virgo. So usually in an eclipse cycle, it's the new moon in one sign, and then the lunar eclipse in the opposite sign. And what we have all throughout this year is we're straddling, we're kind of in between. The nodes being in Virgo and Pisces, which is where they are until the 27th of July. So, and then also where kind of straddling it with where they're going to be come the 27th of July when they shift into Leo and Aquarius. So we've got an aquarium, solar eclipse, a Virgo. Full moon and lunar eclipse. And then we're going to have a new moon and solar eclipse in Leo. This is a lot for my brain somehow on a Sunday afternoon, during Leo season, followed by a full moon lunar eclipse. In Pisces, so usually it would be, something in Pisces, something in Virgo. So I hope I've made sense there. This is, and it's an interesting signature of. This year that, that the eclipses are in between, each of these four signs. So we're having eclipses across four signs, whereas traditionally, we would have them just where the nodes are. Usually we would just have them across two signs. It's an unusual signature and it reminds me of the energy of last year where there was something that was quite discombobulating about. How much movement there was, we had so many planets move signs. The social and the outer planets, and then many of them retrograded back to where they had just been. So there was this shift forward and then this shift back and, and you know, on an intuitive level, that's kind of what this energy feels like. Another way I would say that is we're covering a lot of ground this year, which makes sense, so an annular solar eclipse happens when the moon is at furthest away from earth and the moon orbits earth. Not in a perfect circle, which, you know, you think it would be because the earth is the major gravitational pool for that moon. It is warped. It creates an elliptical shape or another way of saying that almost like an oval shape. Now, what warps the moon's orbit? Lilith the. I have a workshop on Lilith, which is one of my favorites that I've done. I highly recommend it. If you dunno where your Lilith is, please do have a look. You can just pull that up on astro.com. Highly recommend you know where your Lilith is right now. On the sky. She's in Sagittarius. You know, really shifting through what is meaningful, where are we applying meaning. What are we believing in? I mean, there's just such a, an upheaval of, let's say, where large masses of people have put their faith and belief. So astronomers realize there must be some kind of gravitational mass that is warping the moon's orbit and. This is what we refer to as Lilith or Black Moon Lilith. We can't see it, but there is something there, and this really relates to the hidden force that we apply astrologically to Lilith and where she falls in our chart. It is a hidden force that usually from a psychological astrology lens, we have learned to. Hide in childhood or early socialization? No more. So the, the moon is, has passed over this space and it's, it, it's as far away from the, our planet as it can be. And so when we have this new moon, which is always when the sun and the moon and the earth are in, in a, a type of alignment, what will make this significant, what makes it annular is it f it, it forms this perfect circle within the sun, but we're able to see the outer, light. Of the sun during this eclipse. So it looks like this ring of fire, which you may hear astrologers speak about, during this eclipse, it's annular another way. It's another way of saying that it's like there's this ring of fire. So this is very, it's strong. That's incredibly strong imagery. So how do we look at this energy? For me, I mean, this is such a time I feel where we're really perhaps grappling with or reaffirming the fact that. We have personal responsibility, each of us to plant the seeds for the collective future. It's not something that is, we can be passive about. And I'm not saying that as a call to arms. I'm more saying that in line with the astrology of this year and next as a call to your creative heart. Because it's through the heart, which is Leo Energy, which is related to the sun. It's related to our vitality. It's this pump of life. I see it in my own life. I see it in clients' lives when I'm discussing it with them. We're really being called to our own self-expression, our own creativity, doing the things that have always made us feel alive. Playful, joyful, fun. And part of what the Virgo energy, the Virgo South Node energy has been showing us is where we are procrastinating very, very cleverly out of living and putting our energy towards the things that really set our heart a flame in, in a beautiful way. And so we have this Tuesday eclipse solar eclipse, new Moon, beginning of the lunar New Year in Chinese astrology, which begins the year of the horse, fire horse, where there's a fiery ring around the moon. It's wildly symbolic imagery and energetically this one's gonna. Pop, you know, hell yeah. I'm gonna get my hair trimmed during this new moon phase. I've already started just yesterday, like I've told you about how much cleaning and clearing and reorganizing and shifting energy in my house has been going on. For hours yesterday, and something that I'm probably gonna do all of this week is boil up lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon rolls, scrolls things, and Rosemary Dent is incredible. It's just, it brings clarity. It just reinvigorated the environment. I'm always burning a scent or have something going on in the diffuser, like scent is incredibly important to me. Amplification of mood and energy for me personally. And so having this go around, it was incredibly clarifying and it felt like it just cleaned everything, to a much sharper degree. So if you wanna have like ritualize this one, if you have the energy, it doesn't have to be something elaborate, you know, it could be as simple as like trimming your hair, boiling some herbs o over the flame, what, whatever it is. But again, this is, this is a very collective centric eclipse. And what's interesting about Aquarius is. Aquarius is a very strong individual whilst also being an archetype that is deeply rooted within. The future of, of humanity, the, the future of earth, the future of the collective. It's tethered to the collective superhighway of ideas, whilst also being a very strong individual. And I think sometimes we can get caught up in, oh, everything's so individualistic now, and individualism is, you know. Whereas to me, I, I, I see the beauty in this. It, it makes a lot of sense to me that we must really encounter all parts of ourselves and. Bring consciousness to them, which is light, which is your attention. This is what the moon cycles are all about. Every month you get, a full moon, which allows you the opportunity to illuminate a particular archetype or energy within your psyche. And, so to me it's like a strong individual. Belongs to themselves is, is in great relationship and expression of themselves, and is then contributing their melody to this much wider collective song. So. That's what this is about. It's like, what are your visions of what's possible here on this planet for us? If, if you have the time, I, I really would urge you to spend time in that visioning capacity when there's such an incredible conjunction taking place in Pisces North Node Venus. Mercury or conjunct in the clairvoyant, mystic, creative collective energy of Pisces, the visions are strong. What does a utopia, what does your heaven on earth look like, feel like for yourself, for your family, but in a wider, grander collective context. So what will be very, very interesting is what arises during this, eclipse season. Eclipse portal. And what we will then move towards, like it's an eclipse, so there'll be so much intel that arrives and that is revealed. But what will be interesting is the total lunar eclipse. On the 3rd of March in Virgo, where the south node is. So the moon and the south node will be in a conjunction with each other. So on one hand we have these visions of what's possible for self and group, and then we move towards. How we are in li, how we are self-limiting, how we have absorbed social expectations, ancestral expectations, this sense of what something needs to look like to be successful or worthy or what I must be producing to be worthy or, I'm not able to rest. There's so much stress. There's so much ancient stress in my physicality. There's a lot that's going to be released during this, that time period. So it, it's very, very interesting because we're looking at this kind of grander, visionary, inventive, possibility with the Aquarian energy, and then we move towards where I am in a false. I'm saying this and I've just put my back into like a full on hunched over kind of posture. Where am I in this false sense of humility? But actually I'm in limitation and fear and procrastination. And I'm not self-actualizing to my full capacity because I've absorbed a whole bunch of expectations that aren't mine and aren't genuine. So there's a lot that is being released. You know, the Virgo South note, it's your habits. It's the way that you live your life day to day, and the, the inner critiques that can sometimes accompany that energy. So this is a very interesting combination Yeah, it feels like this real, especially with the Virgo energy. I'll speak to that as when we're in it and or just before we enter it in a couple of weeks time. But it's like expectations as binds. A set of beliefs as a, as a binding. It just feels like it's, it's pulling our bodies. It's contorting our bodies out of shape. Yeah. That's how it's coming through. So yeah, personal responsibility, that's kind of where I would like to lead you in this conversation. It lead you towards this idea of what is my personal responsibility within the fabric of being here on this planet alive right now? What's possible for us? How can we have some collective brainstorms, some big collective conversations, you know, direct, with one another, not through the prism of or control of weirdos. Just be aware, this is a very strong eclipse and symbolism, and it begins this fire horse energy. So again, like this might be a great time to be clearing, grounding, really sitting with your intentions for day to day life, but also. On a grander scheme, it's like, where am I intending to apply my life force in this lifetime? You know? And again, I think the more that we're consciously aware of what our values are and, and a grander sense of why, like what is the grander meaning of why I am doing X, y, z, the better. Something that does begin this week is astrology school classes start this Thursday and Saturday. So if you wanna really immerse yourself in an experience your own birth chart whilst also learning the language, this great, alive, mythological, archetypal. Maestro level language. Then obviously I highly recommend astrology school. We've got an amazing cohort, and this isn't self-study. This is something that you do learn in relationship with Everyone else who is joined has joined, because you'll get to see all of their charts. My chart. You'll get to hear so many different stories and ways of experiencing different archetypes and placements. I just, I can't wait to get started.
