SCORPIO FULL MOON: MEMORIES FROM THE DEEP

Hi, hope you're well. Today is everything to do with this full moon in Scorpio that's coming up. This is my synopsis of that. It's happening this Saturday, the 2nd of May at 3:23 AM That's here in Sydney, Australia. So it will be really big in the sky on our Friday night. Uh, and. You know, of the eight, there's eight lunar phases in one cycle, and each of them last approximately three and a half days. So we walk into next week, all of this weekend, and the first day and a half of next week, Monday, and half of Tuesday is in the energy of this full moon. So let's get into what it is all about. Uh, I just had a session with, uh, one of the great students in this round of astrology school, and she has a really beautiful Scorpio moon, and we were talking about this in relationship to, uh, well, just what it, what it can represent and it's, it sounds. Complex because, well, it's Scorpio and it is, uh, this is an energy which is really in desire of and geared towards really deep intimacy with self and another, and you know, I really get the sense that in order to be. Deeply true and clear and intimate with somebody else. We have to be true and clear with ourselves, you know? So it's like the more that I'm able to see, uh, all of the shades and sides and nuances and complexities of myself, the more I'm able to hold that charge. And then the more I'm able to be seen, uh, by another and. I would also argue that the greatest fear of Scorpio is intimacy. So it's like, it's it's desire and it's also what it has fear around. Scorpio has a lot to do with fear. Certainly has a lot to do with things like shame as well. We're talking about, this is separate to what I was saying to my client, but this is us talking about a full moon. In Scorpio, the full moon is the unconscious aspects of that sign. So here in Scorpio it's like partly what this energy can do is, and this is what I was saying to her is like be so, like there's such an incredible observational capacity of Scorpio that when a Scorpio or someone with Scorpio energy. Gives you an insight about yourself. It, it pierces through the veil like it hits, you know, they're so, they're taking in so much data about you, and that can make you want to sort of draw closer towards, towards the Scorpio. You know, all of us wanna be seen. But then at the same time, Scorpio can be complex and it's like it's, it draws you closer and then it holds you at arm's length. You know, in the same breath. Um, and I'm not saying that that's all Scorpios, I'm talking about the archetype of like the energetics of this sign, right? Um, like a Scorpio is going to have planets in lots of different places. Like all of us are a vast tapestry of these archetypes. We're not just singularly running one particular energy. Which is why it's so worth having your whole birth chart read, like having that experience is really going to offer you so much more nuance and beauty than just understanding your sun sign, for example. Anyway, let's get back to Scorpio. So with this full moon there, or with the full moon here. What it's made me think about and what I was writing about for this is, this is like memories from the deep, uh, you know, a Scorpio moon is the deepest of well springs. It runs so, so, so deep. And this weekend it's fully illuminated under the very grounded. Stabilizing steady sensuous lands of our sun in Taurus. So the consciousness is coming from Taurus and it's beaming onto, uh, the, let's say, shadowy or less conscious expressions of Scorpio. Taurus is medicinal to Scorpio. Just like Scorpio's, medicinal to Taurus, but in different ways, obviously. So it feels like there's this bucket of consciousness, you know, that's being dropped into this very, very, very deep wellspring of memory, mood, uh, experience. And it's bringing up to the surface our memories and our dreams that live. Out of normal sight, like out of everyday sight. It's reaching into these deepest caverns of love and loss, shame, power plays, intrigue, everything unrequited, everything messy, like it's, it's the emotional, intuitive world is in Scorpio. It's not clean, it's messy. Especially 'cause it's a full moon and there's nostalgia there. It feels a lot like nostalgia. Perhaps some of what comes to the foreground remains unprocessed or could feel incomplete. You know, it's longings that still echo from the depths. It's gonna be different from all of us. But this is just me speaking into the possibilities, right? So part of what I find quite intriguing is that. The Full Moon, which is at 11 degrees of Scorpio, while the sun is at 11 degrees of Taurus. So it's worth looking at where is both of these signs for me? What house is it in? Do I have anything at 11 degrees of Scorpio or Taurus? And what's interesting, yeah, is that the moon is in a, it's called a Quin Cox. 150 degree angle to Mars in Aries. There's still so much action going on in Aries, right? But it feels so different to it, to how it did a week or two ago, because at least for me, like the sun's in Taurus, like I'm a, I'm way more grounded and present and in my body. Uh, so Mars is making this interesting. Relationship to the moon. So part of what may come forward through memory or from the depths, let's say, is deeper layers of our own motivation. Um, hidden desires, a deeper layer of our own desires. And I would also say like a Scorpio moon is a very, very instinctual beast and having this strong. Uh, aspect, which is a, like this very strong charge between Mars in Aries and a Scorpio moon. Both of those guys are wildly instinctual. Um, it just says that it's amplifying this already big instinct that's present in this moon. Your instincts about a certain situation or a person may resurface. Uh, evidence may surface around things that you had a nudge about. Again, this isn't necessarily clean and neatly packaged stuff, you know, um, it's Scorpio level complex. Um, uh, what I would recommend is observation. I, I feel like that's, that's always the antidote awareness of what's coming up for you, what's coming up for you emotionally. Again, with that Mars aspect, there could be some agro, uh, there could be, yeah, just a lot of feelings and memories and old moods or, uh, like for me, it's just taking place in my, in my dreams. Uh, again, it will be different for all of us, but it's a, it's a strong one. It's a beautiful one. It's a watery full moon. So it's very felt, uh, it's very tethered to our cla sentient our feelings about things. It's prence, but through, through dreams, through felt experiences, um, and it's, it's emotional. It's the moon and it's in a water sign. It's in the deepest of the water signs. So you can kind of bet that it's going to be experienced emotionally and on an intuitive level. Yes, there's the Clance, but there's also a very, very strong instinct. Um, yeah, I hope it's a, I hope it's a great weekend for you and a, a beautiful. Week for you Next week.
