Hi, how are you? Welcome back. Apologies for not having this out yesterday. I didn't actually have much of a voice and, um, you can hear now it's, it's dropped an octave. Um, and I'm gonna start and stop this a lot because I have a, a big, um, head cold, which is really exciting news for all of you. I hope you're well. Uh, I really wanted to record this because the nodes are about to shift. Mercury retrograde ends on the 23rd, which is my Thursday. Uh, Leo season begins tomorrow on the 22nd, which is Wednesday, and on the 27th the nodes shift. So there's a lot happening, and there's a lot happening in Leo. Uh, Jupiter's already there. The sun's about to be there. And then the south node in the sky, which I'm gonna talk about today, will be moving backwards through Leo, starting at 29 degrees on the 27th of July, and then ending at zero degrees in March of 2028. So the nodes are where we have our eclipses re- most of the time. Sometimes they're partial, and they'll be in another sign. But predominantly, the eclipses are taking place in the signs where the nodes are. So if you look at your natal chart, you'll see the north node kinda looks like a little N, but, like, the kind of thing that you see in, um, a What are they called? Um, oh, it's started. It's not a lightning bolt. It's the, those things that are inside lights. A light bulb. A light bulb, not a lightning bolt. Um, the, it's the little thing Anyway, it looks like an N. That's the north node. You'll be able to find that in your chart. On astro.com they only show the north node, but the south node is always exactly opposite, and in the opposite sign. I don't know if any of you are still listening, 'cause I know my voice sounds hectic. Um, but hi, if you are. Knowing where that is will tell you where the eclipses were in the year that you were born. And to me, like, and to a lot of astrologers, the nodal axis is really a big part of the collective flavor, uh, of the time that we are in. It's a bit, like to me, I always refer to it as, like our cosmic curriculum is a lot to do with where the nodes are. So this shift into Leo and Aquarius is gigantic. Uh, and, and I'll certainly talk about it a lot over, uh, the coming year and a half, more than that. Um, but I, I just wanna get started. I want you to be prepped, um- Because again, Leo is really under the pump in a great way. Like I, I am so excited for when Jupiter and the south node meet in Leo, which would probably be about mid next year. I think that's gonna be incredible. Anyway, um, I was looking over the, the PDF for my astrology of 2026 workshop. Um, I'll, I'll link it below if you want to, if you haven't watched that. It is a, it is a good one. Um, I do it every year, and it just gives you the, the full lay down of the year ahead. Wait up, I gotta have some water. And I wanna read out something that I wrote regarding the eclipses and these shifting nodes. Uh, this opposition of Aquarius and Leo, the oppositions in astrology are gigantic. Uh, they're strangely mystical and wild and excellent. Um, and there's a, there's a lot to them. And really the, the fundamental area that we get to meet the oppositions once a month or every month is with the full moon when the sun is in one sign and the moon's in the opposite. The next area we really get to visit that is then with the nodes, 'cause they're always 180 degrees apart. And this is referred to as the axis of individuation, Aquarius and Leo, where... And, and it has a lot to do with, as, as I've said on the podcast lots of times, um, Leo is, is a very, very complex and at the same time like simple sign. I guess I could say that for all 12, to be honest with you. There's a simplicity there, and through socialization and conditioning and our own particular upbringings, we can really complicate them. You know, all of the... You've probably all seen the, the last lot of posts that I put up, but all of the archetypes have an innate ability, but an ability is incredibly different to a skill. An ability can just be like a natural talent that you overlook because it's so easy. You know, when we live in a world where we think that we have to be- I don't know. Uh, I don't know. That's a weird tangent I'm going down. I'm not even gonna edit this episode 'cause I don't have the energy. So welcome to the inner workings of my Gemini brain. Um, but the skill, the skill aspect of that is, is the one that it's like you've taken that ability and you've gone through the initiation with it. You've taken it from the background, and you've brought it into the foreground of your consciousness by being conscious in how you're applying and using and working with that natural ability Y- y- and, and, and that's, yeah. There's so much I could say about that, but I'll stop myself. Um, and so Leo is... The complicated aspect of Leo, which all of you have in your chart, and it's, you all have the archetype of Leo in your chart, and then you all have the fifth house in your chart, and we all have the sun. They're, they're all related to Leo. Leo is ruled by the sun. It is the natural ruler of the fifth house. Um, so as a child, Leo has an innate need, desire, nat- like naturalness to be exactly who they are and to freely express that person, like the personality, the self. And at the same time, Leo is innately aware of the audience, first audience being family, and then let's say school. But it, it's like, if any of you have children or know, have, have been around while babies are being raised, like I always think of Leo as that period where a child starts to do a fake cough, and they get like, you know, it's funny, and so you laugh as the parent or as the viewer, and then they fake cough again. So it, it's like Leo is like I'm, I'm wanting to be exactly who I am and express that, and at the same time, I'm aware of how you're receiving me, and I'm, and I'm really interested in the parts of me that you like and enjoy and, and that get a good response. And I'm also really taking in the parts of you that, the, the, the parts of me that might get an eye roll or a you're too loud or you're too much or, eh, didn't really like that part so much, you know? So th- that's the complexity. I wanna be exactly who I am, and I also deeply wanna belong. And a big part of individuation, and Jung talk about... Carl Jung talked about this a lot. He said, if we haven't, if an individual does not individuate, and I think we get many, many opportunities to indivi- individuate in different ways throughout our life, but if we don't do it, we are not a fully formed personality. We're not a healthy personality. Um, so at some point there's this meeting this threshold of I must belong to myself and genuinely be who I am and express who I am, even if it goes against the social codes. Part of the social codes are related to Aquarius. You know, it's like, it's like this col- this collective coding that we're all very aware of. I- and it, it's also inherent within Leo. You know, they're opposites. They're related to one another. In Aquarius, it's like, "I'm gonna be who I am, and I don't care what you think." And, and that has its, its own, um, sinkholes. Um, and then in Leo it's like, "I will, I will deny myself to belong." Here's where we can see, um, the archetype of the class clown. I will make myself the joke to get attention. Um, or I will contort my personality to be liked, and inside feel so deeply unnourished by myself because there's no sunshine here. You know, the sun, your sun sign, where it falls in your, by house, by sign, and any relationship it has to any other planets, is telling you exactly, um What makes you feel alive? What brings you vitality very naturally? Um, so with this axis of individuation, the South Node, the less conscious aspects of the archetype are coming to the foreground. So what we're doing in this time period of the 27th of July this year until, I think it's the 27th of March 2028, is we're really getting familiar with the parts of our personality that are baloney, that aren't genuine. There's a, there's a huge natural upswing towards our genuineness, right? And, and our, um, overused word, but the, the authenticity of who we are, not in a performance, but in, in, in, like, even in our relationship with ourselves, letting yourself be who you are, doing the things that you enjoy doing, allowing yourself that Um, and the quote that I wrote here in the PDF was by Judy Garland. And, like, this is, th- for me, this is the mantra for this whole transit. "Always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-rate version of someone else." Like, I could end the podcast here. That, that's it in one sentence. That this is precisely the energy that we're entering into, which is brilliant. I, I, I'm so excited about this transit because we're all aware of how there's, you know, even, like, ugh. Here she is talking about social media again. One second, sorry We're all aware with social media, for example, how it brings in a performative element to our personalities. It's like there's a level of, um, curating who we are for the public And And it's like we've all imbibed... I saw a great thing the other day, this girl talking about how she'd subscribed, she used the word subscribe, which was brilliant. She'd subscribed to all of these ideas of what, I think she was like, I mean, she was some stunning, um, LA influencer lady who wore a lot of athleisure wear, and was doing all these things. And she was saying how she'd subscribed to this idea of who she thought she had to be to be successful in this role, and how she didn't like the music that she was always putting to her, um, reels or whatever. How she ha- actually hated making reels or whatever. Like, don't... Yeah. And, and it's like that's, that's what we're about to, this is a very mundane example, but that's what's about to unfurl very naturally within ourselves. Where am I subscribing to a sense of this is who I have to be to do X, Y, Z, or this is who I have to be to be the most lovable version of myself, or here's who I have to be to be, I don't know, um, the hottest, most sparkly version of myself. And the, the great irony is that by subscribing to any of these things, we're cock-blocking our own charisma. We're cock-blocking our own signal, and naturalness, and aliveness, and o- and our sunshine, which is our star shine, you know? Um, so it's kind of like, it's kind of really funny. It's funny to me right now. Um, so this is the territory that we're walking into. And, and again, like, the, the axis of individuation in the way that it's geared with the South Node, the less conscious expressions being in Leo, what we are becoming aware of is, uh The layers of who we have told ourselves or been told that we have to be. And what we're re- what we're revealing more of is the self, the signal of who you are, which is what really, um, broadcasts out in a very North Node in Aquarius way, and brings forward more of your genuine community, and therefore more of your genuine feeling of belonging because you belong to yourself first. Like, we all have met people, we've all possibly been at certain stages, these false versions of ourself, and it feels gross. Or we've been socializing with someone and it's, it- it's incredibly obvious just as a feeling and, and as a sense that this person is not being genuine with themselves. Um, you know, it's like, it's, it's gross. It's very unattractive. It really is. 'Cause it's like, it's not, it's not alive. It's a, it's a falsehood. And with Jupiter moving through this territory at the same time, oh, it's, it's lush. 'Cause Jupiter is about meaning and what's meaningful. And with Jupiter moving through this territory, it feels so much about your story is meaningful. You, who you genuinely are, and the g- and the genuine experience, which is Jupiterian, of you being who you are for yourself first, is, is, is going to bring such a meaningful charge to your own life. It expands your vitality. You know? It's like being a resonant beacon with yourself first. It's like a homecoming And it's very medicinal, and it's expansive And I think we're entering a time collectively, and I think we can all feel it, where we're seeking a depth of story. We're seeking a depth of experiential wisdom. And while the South Node churns through this territory And, and reveals, like it would just be more and more obvious and, and like icky when somebody is, I don't know, saying something that they haven't lived or selling something that they haven't lived or, I don't know, expressing themself in a way that is like, that seems like bull. At the same time, Jupiter is doing this deep churning work within all of us to, to, um, explore and experience more of who we are. And that's what the south node's also doing. 'Cause we're re- we're, we're releasing this sense of like, "I've got to do this to be this." And, and we're realizing, no, the more that I'm me, and the more that I'm doing me, and experiencing myself, and living myself, and expressing myself, the more that the bounty, the sunshine, the spotlight, uh, shines on me. And with- and from within me, you know? Um, another quote that I have here in this PDF that I- I'm just looking at. This is for the part about Jupiter into Leo. And the dates for that again are, it started on the 30th of June this year, and it ends, uh, at the end of July, the 26th of July next year. This is a quote by my pretend internet boyfriend, Dr. Martin Shaw. Oh, wait a sec. That's bringing up a cough. Uh, he says, "Bad storytellers make spells. Great storytellers break them." Like, chef's kiss. Delish. Uh, there's like, there's just so much in those words And that's exactly the time that we are entering There's so many spells that we have all been subscribing to, which are falsehoods and diversions of the, they're diverting us away from our own life and from our own naturalness and our own being. And we're really being called astrologically towards our own story, who we are, our genuineness. And, and I've said this 20,000 times and I'll say it so many more times, strong, healthy, individuated individuals make great community members and great members of the collective. The best, you know? And if you think about the South Node in Leo, some unconscious expressions of Leo, self-censorship. Um, and, and an, and a very much a Aquarian Leo, uh, unconscious expression ca- being canceled, right? So we're all subscribing to, oh, this is what's politically correct, or if I, if I approach it this way then it will feel more like this thing, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Um, and, and so it's like- This is what we don't want. Like, it's a, it's diverting our life force The North Node in Aquarius i- is the higher echelons of what community and the collective can be. And that requires genuine individuated humans Uh, who, who are expressed. You know, another, another version of unconscious Leo is if I, if I'm not individuated right, if I have, if I have, um, pushed down all of who I am, and I've, and I've brought forward these layers of masking, um, or, or these layers of this is who I think I need to be to be liked, then I am going to be threatened by somebody who is standing in and basking in their own sunshine. I'll be jealous. I'll wanna take them down. That's the unconscious expression of Leo. And again, o- of that, of that axis of individuation. If I, if I haven't individuated, then you individuating is a threat to me, is a threat to the collective. Your ideas are threatening to my sense of self. Uh, blah, blah. Um, so yeah, this is the time that we're entering into, and it's great. Um, and so we're about to step into the eclipses and th- this eclipse portal, you know, which is very, it's quite exciting. Um, and it's interesting, right? The Mercury retrograde ends in two days. Leo starts tomorrow. It's, it's been a pretty strong, uh, Mercury retrograde, and really getting us in touch with how we're actually feeling about things and about ourselves, and how we are or are not communicating our needs, our emotional world, how we are or are not nourishing ourselves. Um, and then we're, and then tomorrow we step into Leo, which is the lion, which is- A creature, uh, I got to see one during the week, um, at the zoo Uh, I mean, to, to, to s- look upon a lion is an incredible experience. Um, it i- to me it's like a, a very They are the most majestic creatures. Like, they're so innately aware and are being their powerful selves. And by power I mean, yes, they're killers, but, like, they know themselves. It's not like there's a M- I mean, maybe there are, but I don't think there's like a, a I don't think many lions have an affliction where they're like, um, they have tall poppy syndrome, which if you're listening outside of Australia is a, a thing that we have here where it's like, "Ooh, don't stand out too much or you'll get cut down." I don't think lions have that Um, and I wear a lot of them. I wear a lot of lions. I've got a lion ring, I've got a lion necklace. I wear a lot of gold. Like, I w- like my north node's in Leo. I'm moving towards this archetype. And so I wear a lot of this archetype. I have it on a hat, I have it on a jumper. Like, lions. Um, and to just be in, in Like, they're commanding. Their presence is commanding, and part of what is commanding is they're taking up all of their own space. You know? They're, they're, they're fully lion. They're not, um, partial lion with a little bit of, um, meekness and a little bit of this and You know? It's like I'm just fully being who I am, and I'm owning it. Um- Yeah. Anyway. I'm like, and now what do you say now? Um, so yes. Oh, yeah, yeah, that's what I wanted to say. So Moon Oracle starts next Friday. Our first call is Friday the 31st of July, and, uh, I really wanted to run this round of Moon Oracle, I haven't run it for two years, over the eclipses. Because, you know, there's always so much that, that, that arises and comes forward during these cycles. So it's a great time to be in, in community with others and to, excuse me, get to share like this is what's coming up. To have an astrologer there to say, "Hey, blah, blah, blah," and I can, I can go, "Well, this is my take on that." We have four live calls. Um, there'll be half an hour of Q&A time at the end of each of them, and we start with this full moon in Aquarius. It's not an eclipse, but it is a full moon in Aquarius, so at the end of that we will be diving into telepathy, which is very much an Aquarian, falls under the banner of Aquarius. Then we have a solar eclipse in Leo, which will be very strong. So it's the sun conjunct the South Node, really, really, and the moon, really, really illuminating on o- conscious and unconscious levels this archetype for all of us. An incredible time to be together. And I've got a great workshop that we'll be doing with a brilliant art therapist who I do a lot of work with called Heather Divine, she's also a psychotherapist. Um, and that's gonna be rad. And then we will also be together for a partial lunar eclipse full moon in- Pisces, which will be right at the end of August. There's so much h- happening throughout, throughout that time, and Artemis is the muse for this round as well. I'll put the link below so you can read all about it. I'm not gonna waft on here. But in that one, it's, you know, Pisces, it's dream world. It's your own symbolism. It's, it's your imaginarium. And we are going to be doing a lot around dreams. Um, but I'm not gonna spoil it.
