Jon Korin
Jon has been president of BikeAAA since its 2013 launch as a Leadership Anne Arundel project. He also serves as Chair of the Anne Arundel County Bicycle Advisory Commission, member of the Anne Arundel County Transportation Commission and in 2017 was appointed by Governor Hogan to the Maryland Bicycle Safety Task Force. In 2018, he led the transportation team for County Executive Pittman’s Transition Process. Jon was awarded the Maryland Recreation and Parks Association Community Volunteer Award for his leadership of the inaugural 2014 Lifeline100 bicycle event.
In 2022, Jon received the County Executive’s Good Steward award for leadership of the Anne Arundel County Bicycle Advisory Commission and in 2023 Distinguished Graduate Award from Leadership Anne Arundel. Jon lives close to the B&A Trail and rides for both transportation and recreation.
