Karrisa Kelly
Karissa Kelly serves as the Director of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, where she leads a modernized approach to serving a rapidly growing population. With 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day and the local older adult population projected to double within the next 15 years, Karissa has pivoted the department’s strategy to meet these evolving needs. Under her leadership, the department operates 25 programs across 26 locations, providing a "one-stop shop" for veterans, caregivers, and adults with disabilities. Karissa is dedicated to ensuring that every citizen has the resources—from the Maryland Access Point Center to local senior activity centers—to age in place with dignity and purpose.
